I can't tell you how excited I am to have not only a good breakfast/lunch place close by, but also a place that sells fresh made Central/South American cookies, pastries and cakes My mom and I ordered a couple of different things and I got a pastry to-go so I could try one out later -- everything looked beautiful and tasted delicious! The space is casual and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a positive experience and I will be back again -- HAVE to try their Tres Leches cake!! I encourage you to show your support as this new location gets going I also need to check out the flagship restaurant someday over on the other side of Murfreesboro...

I also ordered beans, which they were out of. I requested refried beans as a substitution, but that wasn't provided either. They were closing up shop and unwilling to help with anything. Overall, the order was missing items and substitutions were not handled, which was disappointing.

My go-to drink is the Dirty Hippie--it never disappoints. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. First walk in has the old business feel of the town, it faces the court house square. The ambiance…read moreis great but the tables and chairs could use some repair as every table we tried wobbled a lot. I did not take pictures of the inside as it is a very busy weekend here. First complaint is there is no guidance for people who are from out of town on how to order or where to go. I have been watching the out of town parents confused as well trying to figure this place out! The iPads set up to order are not sales leading or helpful. When we picked up our coffees is when we FOUND the full menus to read (AFTER we ordered). Not only did they lose sales but we did not see any meat options to add to our order! The lattes tried were a make your own and are better than Starbucks. I had the regular with sweetener (had to ask for a little more sweetener as you can not choose more than one of the same item) and prefer a light to no foam but it is not an option. The second option was the golden girl with honey and cinnamon. Good but different. The first food was the Susie Basic ($11 +$0.50 for strawberries) the crepe that is too thick for a traditional crepe, did not come filled with the strawberries or anything else it was just folded into quarters and topped with the equivalent of 4/5 whole strawberries and whipped cream on the side. The second food item was the French toasted waffle pancake ($15) this is a great concept but it was under cooked and doughy but more than enough food for a meal. It would have been better with a breakfast meat included! Over all the rating is a 3 because of service, the confusion, and the immediately asking for a tip when you order not knowing you really get no service before or after you get food! Even water is a self serve dispenser! It's a great place, different concept in food service. It wants fast food as far service but set up to be table service. After our food arrived we were directed to the silverware and napkins. No one checks on food quality or needs after you are served your food!

They have a great selection of lunch items to choose from. I ordered the red, white and blueberry salad with an Italian and turkey and cheese sandwich and the tortilla soup. The salad, and sandwiches were very good. The soup on the flip side, tasted fine but it was practically cold. So, I had to bring it home in a to-go container. The atmosphere was relaxed, and had nice decor, but the lobby area and restrooms do need to TLC.
