Angel new hire by pool every day would come say hi no other pool attendant did that. Food was great,. Steaks were far to fatty but seafood amazing and though very limited selection food around pool was great. Bogey and Bacall's gives you crazy large portions. The bad. Musicians they hired played same music, no entertainment at all, raggae dj was pitiful nobody danced at all, and karaoke seems more for the people putting it on than guests, no night life or entertainment. The ugly. My girlfriend was drunk asked a female server to show her a bathroom. Server brings her to upstairs bathroom with no camera down hallway follows her inside rips opens my girlfriend shirt and fondles her. My girlfriend with 4 back surgeries and drunk could do nothing. I called and complained. Gm and food beverage manager spoke only to me since she was napping. I explained it all where we sat at bar and camera would show proof she approached us. We honestly expected a follow up or a conversation directly with my girlfriend to hear her side and they never did that. This place was everything I expected and was looking for. Very tranquil laid back atmosphere with beautiful bungalow rooms and immaculate grounds. The service was amazing. There is always someone around to make sure you have everything you need. Bartender James did a great job keeping the specialty drinks flowing at the Tiki bar. We took a cruise in the floating tiki bar which was super fun. The captain made sure we had a good time. Drink stations were everywhere and you could always find a mimosa! Food was superb. Beautiful breakfast buffet and made to order omelets. We reserved the 6 course dinner one evening and also had the seafood buffet another night and both were fantastic. Food servers Dillon, Mac, and Yulores (spelling not sure) did a wonderful job keeping everyone happy. I would for sure recommend more excursions offered. I know the resort is supposed to be more tranquil and thats good but, you can only lay around the pool and eat and drink for so many days. We would have liked to take a day trip excursion to some breweries or maybe hit a festival or something. Also would be nice to have more evening theme parties or maybe a full dance band instead of just acoustic acts. All and all it was very nice and we enjoyed. :) read more

Bungalows Key Largo was absolutely gorgeous! We booked this weekend getaway for our anniversary, which was back in October, so to say we were looking forward to going is an understatement! When you pull up, it's so cute, they immediately unload the car for you and escort you inside to check in and have a beverage, if you wish! They then take you on the most adorable golf carts, that are teal and white, and give you a tour of the property! The teal blue colors make it super relaxing and tropical! We chose a beach front bungalow and it was the perfect location with a gorgeous view, but I don't think you could be in a bad bungalow, there can't be such a thing with how amazing the property is. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side so we didn't get to do the water sports or the Cruisin' Tiki bar, but it didn't stop us from enjoying the peaceful and relaxing environment. When we arrived on Friday we had a couples massage after a few drinks at the Tiki. The steam room and Salt room were AMAZING, in the spa! We loved the spa so much, we booked for Saturday also!! The spa is to die for! Frank was my massage therapist and my husband had a female, both were wonderful! The bartenders, more mixologists, (James and Jason were ours for most of the weekend) were so personable and awesome, the GM, John, was always around and making sure everyone was enjoying their stay and talking to us. Renda, was fabulous, she is from Guest Services and always smiling and making sure everyone else is as well! Everyone is so accommodating!! The Mahi tacos were some of the best we've had! The buffet breakfast and 6 course, wine-paired dinners, were all delish! The drinks keeps flowing and the service was top notch! We will absolutely go back and can't wait until we do!! read more

This is an "all inclusive resort" as advertised. Beautiful, good food, aesthetically pleasing. PLEASE READ THE FINE PRINT. Gratuity is not included and every single employee hands you a check after ordering food and or drinks. If you are not in their area they will come find you to close with them. If you want food delivered to your room it is 3x the cost. $20 delivery charge, 22% gratuity and 7.5%. Sales tax. We booked a catamaran tour (which was not the boat advertised on the website) with our reservation showing the cost which unfortunately was assumed to be added to the total cost. It was not, also at the end of the tour we were told "We work for tips, which is expected." When booking an excursion it did not say charges would be applied after the trip. We tried for a new experience and it was unbelievably disappointing. It should not be advertised as all inclusive as your money would be well spent elsewhere. read more

Save your money and pick another hotel in Key Largo where you have the ability to enjoy the local restaurants that have some of the best seafood. FOOD POISONING My husband and I came here for our first trip since getting married in July and had a terrible experience. I got food poisoning from Sea Señor on the first night that we were here, and my husband got food poisoning on our second day at Fish Tales. Both of the dishes we ate had chicken in them. Between us, we both spent our whole trip in bed sick from these restaurants. To have spent over $5000 on our stay and both of us get food poisoning from the two restaurants that the resort provided is absolutely ridiculous and frustrating. When checking out of the hotel, we were told that we could not receive any compensation or understanding from the resort for our stay because "we were still drinking during throughout the weekend", and to which we replied "we were sick different days, so of course the other person was having a drink or two" (only 2-3 for the whole day!!!) They tried to blame our food poising on alcohol when we were clearly trying to make the most out of a bad situation. The way this was handled was completely unacceptable and I would not recommend anyone come spend their money here. The staff around the resort was also rude, especially the lady at the breakfast check in and the tiki hut bar. read more

0/0 review. I cried every night because I was so disappointed about this place. HORRIBLE FROM THE BEGINNING. This was our honeymoon. Our wedding was postponed 3x and cancelled due to Covid so we decided to "splurge" and book here thinking it was a high end luxury resort. WRONG. To summarize: it's a low grade "Sandals" resort knockoff. Everything is an up charge - everything. Just on our first night we had no waiter at Sir Senors. We had MINIMAL housekeeping which we kept having to call to ask if they were coming - they just made the bed. That was it. Never refilled the fridge(it's supposed to be stocked with sodas and waters) or coffee machine supplies or checked on supplies of the soaps shampoo and conditioner. Zero communication about activities being cancelled or moved. We never did find this "huge beach" to lounge on and actually go into the water. You can sit in front of it, with huge rock walls above the water. My toes never touched water. I was expecting to sit in the water, go swimming, and relax on the beach. Nope. Our kayak reservation went missing. The lock on our room broke and they took hours to fix it so we wouldn't leave the room. Every day there was another major issue. There is *ONLY ONE * restaurant out of the 3 that serve breakfast. All the dinners are heavy on rice and cheap filler food. The drinks that are included are confusing as there is no drink menu. Just a bunch of cheap rum drinks and pina colada's which every single drink you're supposed to tip on.... and I'm not a cheap tipper but if I'm running up to a "bar" for a quick frozen drink and they pour it from a machine and hand it to me I'm not leaving $2 tip. Even the bar food is confusing. We would sit there for 10mins and never saw a menu. It seems the service at the regular restaurants and the few little outdoor bars (we only found 1) is clearly based on the low tips they get unless you go to the $300 a person B&B's restaurant (we went twice after horrific experiences at the 2 other "restaurants") .... that place is real is 1st class service which is how all the restaurants should be when spending $1000+ a night. The only "free" activities on site are kayaking, paddle boarding and yoga, all of which require reservations. Also all 3 dinner restaurants require reservations PRIOR TO your trip. And then once you get there there's usually a 20min wait. We spent the entire week at the "zen" pool which was the best part - private first come first serve cabanas around a spa like/quiet pool. They have a light menu and 1 server but that was honestly the best part of everything. We also went to the spa (wayyy over priced and I'm a regular spa girl and I don't go to cheap places). The spa was wonderful - no issues there. I spoke to 2 managers who really didn't offer much help. They let us check out late one day (check out and check in is STRICT- 11am checkout and 4pm checkin). But we checked out early anyway because there just wasn't anything to do. They also gave us an upgrade the the "fancy" restaurant which I would have just paid for if I could have. ZERO CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS. A HIGE RIP OFF. My wedding was a few days prior at The Vinoy in St. Pete and the level of service and the atmosphere there was 100000% better. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. GO TO SANDALS and actually get your monies worth. 0/0 rating. read more

We were having a lovely time on our honeymoon, food is fantastic, rooms are gorgeous and the drinks are never ending. On our second day here we left for dinner only to return to a clean room when we had the do not disturb sign on and some money missing from the ice box we had used to hide it as we couldn't make the safe function. After this was brought to the attention of the staff the front desk supervisor was fantastic trying to help, however the house keeping couldn't get her story straight about who entered the bungalow. First she blamed it on someone else but after pulling time stamps for who entered the room with key cards it showed she was the one who was in our room less than 15 mins after we left for our dinner reservations. They strongly urged us to file a police report, but acted as if we they could not do anything on site. L we would have checked out early but the only persons who seemed apologetic were the front desk crew and couldn't do anything about refunding us a night or anything without further proof. We will not be staying here again and I will be urging everyone not to as well, as they will just come in to your room and take your belongings and laugh in your face literally. read more

First let me begin by saying the property is beautiful. That being said, if you are a foodie or wine drinker I suggest you find another resort. they lured us $20 bottles and told us we should have looked at their online list. The food was not good but I will say the mixed drinks were great.Their main restaurant was the only good one.They have many rules so if you like to be flexible not a place for you. They would not bring chips to the pool because they only serve them in the living room. We wanted to eat by the couches in that room and we had to beg them to let us. Also do not order room service they will charge you, keep in mind we paid $2000.00 a night not a cheap place. We did not sleep two nights because the outside curtain was banging all night and they really did not care at all. Except for the front desk the staff was wonderful. We got there 10 minutes early and they told us they were being nice by allowing us to go to our rooms, really! Massages were great. Best part was Ms.O sunset cruise a must do. We stayed at the Bungalows when it first opened in 2019 (pre-fire). There were a number of pros and cons, with the cons outweighing the pros in a huge way. All of that being said, it was early on in the hotel's life, and the (former) management company was incredibly helpful in offering us two free nights stay or to refund us $1300. We chalked the poor experience up to the challenges of opening a hotel and took the two free nights. We are now looking to go back with some friends for a weekend, and when we emailed the full chain of communication to the resort, they said that the owners had subcontracted out management of the hotel, and they had since parted ways. They are therefore saying they will not respect the two free nights OR refund us the $ we were owed. If an owners makes a decision to hire a mgmt company, they are A. still the recipients of the full $1500 a night we were paying to stay (and are responsible for the $ we were owed) and B. responsible for their own decision to subcontract to a mgmt company they then decided to part ways with. We are reasonable people, but to be told they would take no responsibility is unacceptable. read more

Worst all inclusive I have ever been to, and we travel A LOT. The service has not been great. The upkeep and the appearance is nice. The food is terrible. The room service is not included, there a $20 up charge plus the COST OF THE FOOD. There are only two restaurants and if you do want to eat at one with decent food you have to pay and additional $300 unless your stay four nights, you one get ONE visit for free. Which apparently is a trend because it's also $300 for early check in.. regardless if you're one hour or four hours early. If you want top shelf drinks it's an additional cost. The one drink I did order here was not proportionate, it was not satisfying at all. As a past bartend, I feel like the bartender didn't know how to make the drink correctly (I ordered a margarita).. with that. We got here on Wednesday and there have been TWO bartenders every day, this was Friday after noon with only one bartender.. I felt terrible for how overwhelmed I felt he was, even though he held his composure very well. The water is covered in sea moss, I've seen one very intoxicated group of people utilize the floating lounges. Aside from that the pool set up is nice but the music they've had for the past three days has not set the vacation resort vibe. They are UNDER staffed. I had to wait 20 minutes for valley to bring me my car.. which they never did I eventually had to ask if I could have my keys to go get it myself so I don't miss out on the ONE activity they offered that you didn't have to pay and additional fee for.. which was yoga, that I did in fact end up missing. This should NOT be advertised as an all inclusive resort. I feel if we were under the impression this was just a resort rather than an all inclusive we wouldn't be so disappointed. I would not recommend this resort to anyone. If you're looking for all inclusive and bang for your buck this is not the place. Bungalows Key Largo is an amazing place and we had a delightful stay! They treat you like ROYALTY!! Ignore the bad reviews staying that staff is rude or the food is mediocre, they are FALSE. My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights to celebrate our honeymoon and we enjoyed every day. We stayed in the Garden bungalow, the room was spotless, beds were comfortable, and it was quiet at night. The staff was super friendly (we were on a first name basis with all of them by the time we left), and everyone here wanted to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves and relaxing. The food here was delicious! I recommend about 1-2 weeks before your stay to schedule your dinner times (6:30 is perfect bc the sun sets at that time). Breakfast and lunch don't require scheduling. A nice thing to know too is if you stay for 6 nights you get 2 complimentary reservations to Bogie and Bacall which is their fine dining restaurant, and that food is AMAZING. The spa massages were wonderful! We recommend Carlos and Jose. Overall we had a blast and enjoyed our stay, we highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back again in the future!! read more

Namely Zakiya and Adonis were over the top fantastic as well as several others that I wish I'd gotten their names. We left home with about 10" of snow and 20*. Arrived in Bungalows in Key Largo with smiles and and a plesan welcome. We got settled and went to the Tiki bar for a pizza and a cocktail. Service was great and food came quickly. Saturday we we went out on 3 hour boat ride around with Captain Olivia. She was enjoyable and explained some local history. We went out to the worlds Largest reef!! Who new here in the USA! It was a beautiful snorkel and the fish were very colorful. She served us up Barbque shrimp and fruit and veggie skewers. And chicken quesadillas. Great day and the water. The wait staff are helpful and very nice. The food has been delicious. We really enjoyed listening to music in the Hemingway bar and a delicious dinner at BOGGIE AND BECALL. We can truely recommend Bungelows Key Largo read more

So much potential with this new resort--Location is like in a movie. The chef cooks good food, the 4 inch key lime pie with graham cracker crust is amazing. There are about 5 staff members who appear to know how to serve but the majority of the staff is poorly trained or not gifted in serving others. From check in to house keeping there are poorly trained or unequipped personal. Even with the big discount offered with the training, I felt robbed. We had a beach front bungalow, which was adorable, beautiful view, and the bikes were cute fun recreation. The guys doing boats and water toys were top notched professionals. The daily text is so much better than receiving a daily newspaper on resort events but they still leave out too many details. A lot of thought went into this project and I hate to see the investors loose due to management issues. As I said earlier, so much potential to see them miss the mark by such a long shot. I've been told Bungalows Key Largo, has been open 2 months, yet I felt like we were experiencing week one. I can't believe this is a Noble Property. THIS RESORT IS NOT ALL INCLUSIVE DONT BE FOOLED!! This resort is intentionally misleading. My friends and I checked in for a weekend stay. Friday to Sunday. Upon arriving at 12 PM we were told that we have to pay 300 extra dollars to walk onto the resort and use the pool beach or restaurant anytime before 4 PM. We paid it because we wanted to enjoy the day on property since it was a short visit. Then we were told we need to check out on Sunday at 11 AM. We were also told we need to pay an additional $300 once again if we want to have lunch or enjoy the day on property. Essentially for our weekend visit we only had one full day of enjoying an all-inclusive resort. Let me also add, that they have an upscale restaurant on property which is not I repeat not included in the all inclusive so you have to pay for that dinner separately as well. What a joke. If you're planning on coming for the weekend just know that you have a little to no time that you can eat or enjoy the property without a large additional expense. What I would have understood is when there is check out at 11 AM allowing us to stay on property and pay for the lunch that we would be having on property instead of $300. So to enjoy the day on Friday and Sunday you would have to pay an additional $600The menu is basically barfood you couldn't spend $300 on a meal if you tried here. I completely understand paying for bottles of wine even premium drinks if you choose to do those upgrades, but not an additional $600 to enjoy When I gave my feedback to the manager they weren't very receptive and truthfully didn't seem to care. I travel often and understand hotel policies completely. I was extremely disappointed in the way they managed this as I mentioned this is not an all inclusive as they present themselves to be. I have only been here for one day so I will update this review as my stay lengthens. On check in day, we arrived 4 hours early. We were coming from NH, so we were dictated by flights. We were told we could check in early for $300. I was shocked. I've been to several all-inclusive resorts and gotten in early and have never been told I'd have to pay extra. Usually, the resort puts my luggage in a safe place and I make myself comfortable until my room is ready. Not here. I was taken aback. So, if my flight leaves early on the other end and I check out 4 hours early, will I get a $300 credit? I think not. Seems petty to me because I'm sure it all works out in the end. I was not paying $300 more, so I declined. Thankfully we had a rental car and were able to go to a beach for a few hours before we could check in. Upon check-in, we were greeted with lots of smiles and offered a cold beverage. The check-in process went smoothly and we were given a tour of the grounds and taken to our bungalow. The bungalows are amazing! I especially love the private outdoor area. The bungalow is well appointed and super nice. The entire resort is decorated nicely and has a comfortable atmosphere. I really do love it. We quickly got into our bathing suits and headed to the pool. After a long day of waiting to get checked in, a drink was in order, so we bellied up to the tiki bar. There were two other couples there, so it wasn't busy. We sat there for about 10-15 minutes before either bartender even acknowledged us. Another couple came to the bar and sat after us and one of the bartenders went over to help them. I was not happy. Really? When she finally said she'd be with us, I said we'd been waiting. She said sorry, but didn't seem it. The bar is the hub of an all-inclusive resort on a beautiful sunny day by the pool. Those bartenders need to be working hard and covering all their bases efficiently. These two bartenders acted like they were on a Sunday drive. We finally got our drinks and sat at the pool. One of the employees who was picking up towels asked us if we needed anything and went and got us refills. He went above and beyond. We signed up for the Tiki tour and met Glen. Great guy! He even passed us on our lounge chairs and asked if he could get us refills on our drinks. Two employees who aren't even bartenders or waiters gave us more attention then those whose main job it was. We had dinner that evening at Sea Senors nethe beach. Lovely setting. The guacamole was great, but the rest of the food was not great. My boyfriend ordered the flank steak. He wasn't asked how he wanted it done, so when I asked the waiter about it, he said it's done well. Well??? Really? Yup, it was done well. Like leather. I had the shrimp, which was baked or grilled to the point I could barely get it out of the shells, which rendered it tasteless. I had to ask why my boyfriend didn't get his drink that he ordered when we first sat down after we were almost done our meal. The experience was disappointing to say the least. So, our first full day begins today. I'm hoping we just had a bad start and things will be better from here out. We've paid a lot to be here, so there needs to be improvement. A resort of this caliber needs top notch food and beverages with efficient service to go along with it. This could be an amazing place if those things were improved. Things did improve for the last couple of days of my stay. Food at Fishtales was very good. I looked forward to the breakfast and lunches there. Dinner there our last night was fantastic! Renda and Rolondo along with Liz were our favorites at the resort. They were genuinely concerned about our happiness. I think this is a nice place. I can see that their going through growing pains. Not here almost every activity costs extra like a cruise ,sailing etc. most hotels have 5-12 restaurants this place has two that is included ,but they have a third that costs 300$ per couple per dinner. Basically a big rip off the worst is with anything you ask for at the pool or with the dinners,including the 300$ dinner,they give you a bill with a place to put a tip. The employees said that they get minimal pay and rely on the tips. You think for the outrages cost employees wouldn't be begging for tips. The food is mediocre. Many times at the pool or the restaurants I had to ask for service they are only attentive when you complain. Very dissatisfied so many other issues. Their gym is almost non existent looks as if it is from 1950. Also the rooms. If you are doing say in Georgia and stop on the road and pay 80$ a night you get the same room. The food needs to come a long ways... the tiki bar served the best food and coming to an all inclusive resort you would think otherwise.. the dinners we had were cold and not 5 star like they are claimed to be. I also think that being an all inclusive resort the spa should be included and it's not! Angela at the Tiki bar was awesome! She made the mood fun along with the live music! They claim to have 3 restaurants when really it's not. It's one thats reservations only for dinner that takes hours and the one is a tiki bar that connects to their breakfast and lunch restaurant. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN from this garbage hotel. The manager is a professional liar and it leads to the rest of the staff acting like him. Do not go to this place. They charge $1,000 a night and act like its a motel 6. My wife and i were harassed by someone at dinner and they refused to let us leave or give us a refund. Instead, after literally begging us, they said that they would send us a voucher for two nights. Voucher never showed. When we called them asking where the alleged two night voucher, they said it was for one night not two. Even though they told us it would be for the two night we left for. Still don't have it. I WOULD NOT SEND SOMEONE I HATE THERE. Just not worth it. There are plenty of other incredible places to stay in FL without having to feel like your lives are in danger. read more

My wife and I went there for our 40th anniversary in April. The resort is beautiful the service employees were great but the Management was disorganized. The quality of the breakfast was poor. It says all inclusive but it doesnt include tipping which they dont tell you till you check in. The A/C broke in our room and Management gave us a hard time about moving when we were told by an employee that the resort was only 50% sold. After several conversations with the owner Jerry he promised a letter giving us a two day stay for the price we paid. Here is it July and he has not sent or is returning phone calls. Sorry, but this place is NOT worth it. Look, it's gorgeous. Totally get it. Spot is primo. And if I hadn't been spoiled in other places maybe I would be more forgiving. But at $1,500 a night for an "all inclusive" where it's hard to get a meal reservation, and where you can't get a glass of wine after 11:30pm? And if you order a bottle of Cabernet to your room they charge you $100 for a $17 bottle of red blend below mediocre plonk? Not cool. Sorry kids. Staying here now but will never be back. I am giving the resort a 4 stars overall. This is a new resort and they have some problems that need to be fixed but because it is I so new I have confidence that they will be addressed. The rooms are great and the outdoor shower is magnificent. The bed is comfortable and the amenities are great. The boat captains, especially Glen, are friendly and eager to please. The guys who rent the kayaks and paddle boards is great! The food is not great. Having stayed at all inclusive this is part of the deal so I was not really surprised by this. The service needs some work. There are some really great servers, Mike and Roy, specifically come to mind but overall the service team really needs to get their act together. There does not seem to be any leadership guiding the servers on how to be efficient. Overall it was a great weekend getaway and will definitely come back again after they've had some time to work out their kinks. read more

Mark the ""manager" not sure if he is the general manager or the food and beverage manager but I was hung up on by this guy as I was trying to work out a room service issue. I'm not impressed with this place as I've paid a premium to stay here. Completely dissatisfied with my experience. read more

RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN! Do not waste your money at this place. We stayed here for 2 nights and we had no hot water for the length of our stay. I had to take cold showers. We were told that maintenance would come and fix it but never did solve the problem. The food was sub par for what your paying. Basically bar food. The one restaurant that was supposed to have good food was an extra $300 pp on top of the $1200 your paying for your room. The juices there tasted like they were mixed with toilet water and the iced tea was disgusting. Now for the service....the wait staff doesn't even look you in the eye. They are very cold and lack any personality. I ordered food by the pool and it never came, (with no apologies) they just blamed it on someone else. The management is rude and they lie right to your face. Upon our check out We approached the front desk and was greeting with a rude And defensive attack on us. Very unprofessional. This place is not worth the money. When your on vacation paying $1200 a night you at least expect the staff to be courteous. I will never come back here and i will warn people to stay away and not to waste their money. I will give this place one star for the 1 and only server that was fun and happy with a great personality and that was a beautiful young lady named Micky. read more

I am very disappointed in Bungalows Key Largo. The website says there is a promotion if you book by 1/31/20 and travel before the end of May. It says nothing about rates changing during the promotion. I made the decision for my husband and I to join friends and book our vacation and thought I had until the end of the month to book. Rates went up drastically in the few days from my friend booking her room and what I would be charged. In the end there is no promotion as the increase erases any savings the promotion would have given. I spoke with a manager who didn't help at all. My concern and disappointment does not matter. Please don't be fooled by this rigged promotional offer. There are many other beautiful places to visit. read more
