I was curious what is was all about so followed the signs and made a quick stop in. Although the surrounding area is no longer true ranch land, they still had a small lawn and orchard along with the main shop. Friendly greetings and all the socially distanced and sanitizing protocols in place. I saw rows of locally made jellies, candies and most of all honey! I picked up a large jar of their honey for $8.99 and it's wonderful. Cute little store filled with locally made goodies-would definitely be a regular if I lived closer. After my grueling 2 hour wait, I finally open the door to the sweet smell of meat and air conditioning. Atmosphere is busy, and there were 4 lovely ladies just moving along and getting people their orders. I had the GREAT pleasure of having Allie (hope I spelled her name right) serve me. She was extremely patient and giving me every opportunity to ask questions, describe products and give samples to give me the true taste of what she was describing. She was very chipper, never rushing and made me feel like I NEED to come back! Hoping the management reads my review, typically I only write if service was excellent or notably terrible. This visit, this customer service, will make it that much easier, even waiting for 2 hours. Thank you Allie!

Then I looked closer and realized they had just put the 50% off stickers on! Mega Mart has so many fresh sushi and Korean food options, which are my favorites, so of course I wasn't about to miss out. I ended up buying a lotttt: a pack of salmon nigiri, a mixed nigiri platter, a pack of uni & toro sushi, and a poke bowl. I also picked up some sundae (Korean blood sausage) because it's my partner's favorite. They also have a huge selection of bakery items and Korean rice cake desserts. I loaded my cart with so many things, but in the end I only bought a Dubai chewy cookie, it was only $5, which is such a steal! There was so much more I wanted to buy, but I knew I couldn't possibly eat it all, so I had to sadly leave the rest behind. And you know what? The sushi was so freshhhhh! Even though I bought it after 7 PM, the quality wasn't affected at all. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Our family had such a filling and satisfying meal thanks to Mega Mart.
