One of their exterminator is some what strange ! He kept coming to my bedroom window and knocking on it claiming I was never hearing him knock or ring the door bell!! He had both my home and cell phone and had no problem calling it on his way over, but couldn't call either one of those numbers so comes to my bedroom sliding glass window?? Who comes to a woman's bedroom window to knock on it? Then he started texting me none stop telling me how sexy I was, how older women are sexy! At this point time I was starting to think he was a freaking perv! Yet the company tried defending him! When the guy did it a 5th time, I read him the riot act and he said he'd refer someone else out here. The head manager did nothing but make excuses for this guys behavior. Said he couldn't just fire someone with no reason. Oh yes you can, it's called a right to work state. So obviously these people don't even know state laws! You don't reward bad behavior! So I decided to try it with a new technician from same company. Talk about brain dead and stupid!!! They are a crappy company, I've explained to them if not once but 6 x about stepping foot in my property!! Do not come on it with out contacting me first!! So guy claims he showed up, doesn't tell me he's coming! Treats the outside and doesn't bother to treat the inside where I've had scorpion problems!! I waited from 3-6 pm for some one to show up and this fool treats the outside comes on to my property and never once lets me know he's here! Besides that they've never been able to rid my house of Scorpions! Be warned step on my property you could end up getting hurt with out first notifying me. Horrible company with brain dead people working there! Then when I addressed it with him and how pissed I was so He said that maybe I should get someone else then. Your right I will get some one else! All they do is powder. What good is powdering? I thought I was getting both powder and treated with a special liquid spray! The spray he showed up with was in a spray can with a long plastic straw hooked up to the spray nozzle. Not even professional. I'm done with these people! We recently bought a house where we found over 20 scorpions in the yard in two days and saw a cockroach in the driveway. I have been in Arizona for 9 years and have only ever seen one scorpion. Needless to say we heavily researched pest control companies. We actually had two come over and treat for the scorpions because we are nearly phobic. Eric H. was our technician and he showed our home a refreshing level of courtesy and respect. Yes boxes are everywhere and it is a mess right now, but he still showed the courtesy to take off his shoes when he walked in. Certainly not expected, but it shows a sincere attention to all details, and a customer based business. Unlike the first company that came through, Eric took the time to thoroughly explain scorpions and their behavior, why we had them, and where they like to live. He then proceeded to treat everywhere: in the walls in the house, throughout the house, a 5' barrier along the foundation, and on the block wall. We have a 2100+ sq ft house and over 15,000 sq ft yard, all for $98 for the scorpions and then $48 a month, and they will come out whenever we need additional treatments for free. Not bad at all. Eric also found a cockroach infestation in an olive tree that was completely missed by the company the day before. Nothing speaks better than results. In the two days since the treatment we went from finding 4 scorpions on the wall to none. No cockroaches, no scorpions. From near terror to completely at ease. I think that says it all. read more

I have been very satisfied with the service for Bulwark Exterminating. I have had 2 techs out to my house and both have been extremely professional and helpful the first tech that came out was Brian. He did a great job and was very good at making sure that he treated my whole house and yard. However due to the extreme case of bugs that I do have had to call and get a treatment or two done to help control the pests. That's when I met our second tech Eric B. He has been great at showing me where problem areas around wood piles and pine needles and tall weeds need to be cleaned up to really help with my particular bug problem. Also Eric has been great at knowing what questions to ask me, such as "what areas of the house are you seeing the bugs", or "Are there any areas that you would like me to focus on that you are seeing the bugs more often" and that sort of thing. We scheduled a preventative interior and exterior pest treatment as we have seen a few scorpions in the house this summer. The customer service delivered by every person I spoke with was excellent. The person I spoke with on the phone was thorough and clear in his explanation about what exactly the technician would be doing and made sure that the pests we have been encountering would be targeted. Tyler M. was our technician who came to the house and he did a great job. He was professional and had a warm personality. He was on time, asked what pests we have seen and where, and listened to my concerns. He let me know exactly what he would be doing while he was there and let me know about what he found. He was also very sweet to listen to my five year old share her scorpion anecdote. :-) I found Bulwark through Angie's List where they were rated very highly. I can see why! Bulwark's service and rates are outstanding. After dealing for years with half-efforts and rising prices by another national exterminator service, a friend of mine recently switched to Bulwark. He had to be away for the week, so I stopped by my friend's house to let in the Bulwark termite technician, Michael Brady. Not only did Mr. Brady check all the exterior bait traps, he did a thorough termite check inside the house. The 'other' pest control guys only sprayed the bottom of doors and windowsills. Mr. Brady opened all the doors and windows, and sprayed around every edge. He also opened every outlet cover on the exterior walls, and sprayed inside those, sprayed around all plumbing fixtures, and laid down baits to stop a silverfish infestation -- all at a price about half of what the 'other' guys now want to charge. I was impressed by Mr. Brady's knowledge and honesty, and I'll definitely call Bulwark for my own home pest control needs. Marian C. read more

We have had Bulwark for years across multiple homes. I've never left a review before but I have to let others know this company is phenomenal! They communicate arrival ahead of time and even upon completion. If your home they will ask if there are new issues, if your not home you can respond directly via the text message that they send. They provide a photo of things they addressed and they always will do extra when they recognize the need. And if all of that isn't enough in the interim if you see anything you just call and they will come out between scheduled visits. Usually at no charge! I sprayed the whole backyard the whole backyard all the patio underneath the all the new chairs all that new pool equipment you're putting in by the way the backyard is amazing. I've had Bulwark Exterminating for over 10 years. We were the first of the nocturnal treatment which unfortunately they have now eliminated. Very reliable and thorough service. We lived in the Foothills where scorpions are rampant so it was easy to compare their service when talking to neighbors. Again, the nocturnal service was highly effective. Minor complaint would be with their systems. On multiple occasions recently we've had to cancel our service at a rental property. Unfortunately they would still show up or call to schedule even after we alerted them to cancel. Finally, a bright spot in their service is Garrett Leavitt. He is the most recent person to treat our house and provides excellent service. It seems his goal is to go above and beyond the call of duty to treat the house in the most effective way. Jacob Whitfield was our tech today and I must commend him on the service we received. With Bulwark you will always be greeted with a friendly smile. Jacob methodical listen and observed our concerns. He concentrated on spraying the entire property with special attention to all the hot spots where the pest thrives. Beside the spray he added a treatment of granules which is activated by water as an extra boost. Jacob was very thorough, and I appreciate his attention to every detail and by adding an enhancement using a can of bug spray that lasts up to 6 months around the windowsills, sealing corners on the patio and garage. I have been a customer of Bulwark for 2 1/2 years, they guarantee their service and will come out as often as you need them. You will always receive impeccable service every time. We have used Bulwark for many years, and the service has always been excellent! Although our recent experience was outstanding, it warrants a review! I called for a retreat, which is always free, and received a same-day appointment. Later that afternoon, I received a call from Cory Webber, the exterminator assigned to our treatment, to inform me he was running behind schedule but would still be coming. As it got later, I expected him to call back and ask if he could push my appointment to the following day, but he didn't. Instead, he showed up at 8:00 on a Friday night, which was totally fine with us. Even after a long day, he was extremely polite, friendly, and very thorough with the treatment around our home, both inside and out. We've had Bulwark assist us with our pest control services for the majority of the past 5-6 years. They have always been great to work with! Plus, they have done a great job of preventing scorpions from overtaking our home. No matter which technician they send out, each will now send us a brief note and a picture to confirm what they've done. Many go above and beyond including: James F, Curtis H, D'angelo C, Ian R, Marcus T, & Jacob T to name a few! To save some money after losing income, we tried another company briefly; they were not as good as Bulwark. Plus, after that, Bulwark was able to work with us to find a price we could both agree upon. Great overall service! This is a quality organization. I found a black widow in my backyard by some outside furniture. I also have two inquisitive dogs and was terrified they would get bit by the venomous spider. I called a couple big name companies first who told me they couldn't quote me a rate until they did their "free inspection.". I told them I know what it is... It's a black widow... How much and how quick can you get here.. The response from the other guys was that they wouldn't quote a rate. I said no thanks.. Called Bulwark. Asked how much and they told me right away, and pretty cheap too. They had a rep at my house first appointment of the next day. The rep Nathan was awesome courteous, and was in and out in 45 min. Originally came on here to write a review because I was unhappy with the service, so this is an updated review. The service manager actually seemed concerned about my complaints, and wanted to correct them. I was really impressed that this company really does care about its customers. The technicians they sent made sure to ask about specifics I felt needed to be done, and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied before they left. Had this been the first time, I would have given a five star review - the only reason for the four stars is because it was the second. I will say this: they value you as a customer so if you have an issue with their service, let them know and they will get it corrected. read more

We just had Bulwark come out for one of their mid-service calls due to some issues we are having with scorpions and Tyler M. was fantastic. I am a new customer of Bulwark's and had previously done my own exterminating, but saw a recent uptick in critters throughout the house. So, I decided to call professionals in after being referred by a friend I trust. They were easy to schedule with, on time, and friendly to interact with. I ended up needing them to do a second treatment after I found more critters immediately following my first treatment; likely due to the fact that they sprayed inside my walls and drove them into the house. So far...so good! We have been extremely happy with our service from Bulwark! We have experienced the professionalism and friendly service from Hunter, Carrie, and Jacob. We moved into a new build and were experiencing bug and rodent problems but our service technicians from Bulwark showed up right on time and treated the problems accordingly. They each were very knowledgeable on all things regarding pests and rodents and gave us a few pointers to help us out. Really appreciate their attention to detail. Thanks guys! I have lived in two different homes in AZ and have always used Bulwark. Frequently I am approached by other pest companies who want to better the rate I'm currently paying and I tell them that I would never switch. The service was excellent, Devin was very patient with all my questions and took the time to make sure the animals/pets living inside and outside were going to be safe after the treatment. Unlike previous pest companies Devin actually cared and was sympathetic to my concerns about the chemicals hurting the animals. I'm not a chemist so the poor guy had to be rather patient with all my questions. The company is also very detailed with their records and good with internal communication. I'm confident the next person from the company that treats the home will know what's unique with my house which means I don't have to worry about finding animals sick or dead in the future. read more
