I tried this place for lunch and was not impressed. You have to grab a bag with the menu on it and check off what you want. I ordered a burrito with pulled pork and several other ingredients, and a large sweet tea. My total was $11.43 before the obligatory tip. The burrito was absolutely huge, but it was overloaded with rice throughout. Most of the other ingredients were all on one side. The flavor of the burrito was good except for the abundance of rice. The burrito does not include chips which was somewhat of a disappointment. I would have preferred a smaller burrito that included chips like most other places. The large drink was 32oz for $3, and the sweet tea was Golden Peak instant instead of brewed - another disappointment. Although it wasn't bad, I probably won't be returning. read more

The worst burritos (if that's what you wanna call them) ever!! I ordered a chicken burrito and was given more rice than anything! It was a rice burrito that featured sour cream towards the end. Barely any cheese , but a lot of lettuce. Therefore, it was a rice and lettuce burrito. Awful. Customer service was subpar. All staff were high school kids who acted as if they wanted to be anywhere else but there. The only good thing: no wait time, no long lines. read more

I am not local to this area and needed to find a quick and good restaurant. The hotel front desk recommended this place. This is an "upscale" Mexican quick food (not fast food like say Taco Bell). The menu consists of taco, burritos and bowls. The food is good and worth the money. Unless you have a margarita or a beer you will spend around $10 for lunch. Good food at a good price, I can see this becoming one of my go to places when I'm in town. read more

This is probably one of my favorite places to go, the food isn't the cheapest but it is with out a doubt the best! I usually come here about 2 times a week. The cheese dip and steak tacos are my favorite. But if you like beans, try the beans, probably the best I've ever had. Plus, you get free ice cream and free drink re-fills! read more

The burritos at Bullritos are perhaps one of the best I have ever had. All of the food is made fresh, and you can easily tell as soon as you take your first bite. I tried both the steak and chicken burritos, and both are amazing. Also, their cilantro ranch sauce is incredible. While I was there, I had a chance to meet the owners and they are incredibly nice. While I was talking to them, at least two different people came over and complimented them on the food (one lady said she drove all the way from Atlanta to eat there). The next time you are in the area or if you are driving by I-20 near exit 93 and you are in the mood for a burrito or taco, then Bullritos is the place to go. read more

Best TEX MEX burrito restaurant around. You won't find quacamole that stays neon green for days here, everything they serve is made fresh in house daily. The staff was super friendly and was able to offer all sorts of useful information about the history of Covington which as a tourist I loved. It was also nice that they offered super clean facilities all around. I had the Pork which was so juicy and spiced just right, it was pulled out a vat of amazingness, followed by a cookie that was cooked just right. I will definitely keep an eye out for a Bullritos was I get back to Texas they are great! read more

Good food, but inconsistent. When I find something I like, I stick to it. Unfortunately, this place is really inconsistent, and sometimes I don't feel like "gambling" to see if the food is going to be fresh or properly made. Let me explain: My husband and I have gone here several times, and each time the food is very inconsistent. Sometimes the rice is overcooked and mushy; sometimes it's undercooked with hard bits in it; and sometimes it's perfect. Another thing is that my husband and I usually get the same amount of ingredients in our bullritos, but sometimes one of our bullritos is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the others. I mean, how would you feel if you looked into your white bag and pulled out a skinny bullrito, and the person you came with had a large delicious-looking bullrito :(? When we first started going here the food was consistently fresh, and around the same size. I will give it another shot, but please improve your consistency. read more

Fresh food! I came in with my family a few nights ago. The staff greeted me with a smile and explained how to order! We turned in our bags and the food was ready in just a few minutes! It smelled like sewage when I walked in, my food wasn't all that great my steak tasted chewy and flavorless, my rice was sticky and the coke tasted very watery and nasty I was very dissatisfied with my meal especially for how much I paid for it. I don't recommend it whatsoever. read more

Not what I expected it to be. New to working in the Covington area and trying to get to know ow the different eating spot. This please was way below what I expected. The food has no taste what so ever. I had the Nacho bowl with the cilantro-lime rice, black beans, steak, cheddar jack cheese, the topping, red salsa and Pico, nothing had a taste to it except the rice and it was a really weird taste. I also got the chips and quest and the chips are extremely hard. They have nothing on Chipolte and Moe's. Needless to say, I will never go back and would not recommend this place to anyone I know. Really bad and did not like it at all. Paid $15 for 1 bowl and chips and a lemonade...again what a waste read more

being my first time eating here i was rather excited. I like the way you order but thats about all that was enjoyable about this place. Comparable to Chipotle this place is no competition. the food was really dry and if you ordered anything but meat and rice you got a teaspoon of said ingredient and it was burried in the bottom of the burrito. Sadly my first visit was enough to not only never go back but also to not let friends and family waste that much money on an overpriced burrito. Chipotle is cheaper too. read more

I am from Los Angeles with a true love of good Mexican food!! I moved to the south and have been on a long search for quality Mexican food. When I first saw the sign I was unsure if it would be what I was looking for, but I tried to give it a try. I was shocked to see the diversity of offerings and even more surprised of the taste. After my second bite I was transported back to my old neighborhood at my favorite burrito spot. The first week I went three days for lunch. Now I am sure to stop in at least once or twice a week. The people are very friendly and the atmosphere is great. I also love the fact that you can get a complementary ice cream cone as well. I love this place. read more

I have been looking for a restaurant similar to Chipotle in price, quality and taste in the Covington area and still haven't found one :( I absolutely loooooove Chipotle's burrito bowls! I ordered a burrito bowl from Bullritos which was ~$7.50 including tax. The ingredients were not fresh at all, had no flavor and the rice tasted like it was refrigerated and reheated. I even saw one of the employees with her hands in the rice breaking up the chunks. Also you get a free cookie if you write them a review on yelp or facebook so a lot of these people writing fantastic reviews probably got a free cookie lol! I will not be returning. read more

My daughter and I were new to the area and found this and saw many good reviews and decided to try. Wow, were we disappointed. The food was cold and the chips were stale. I had a bowl with steak and I think they boiled the steak, it was disgusting. The salsa had no taste and boring. I was hoping for a Willy's or Chipotle level and this is way off. Another Tex-Mex resturant in the Covington area. It's not a particularly great resturant compared to other Tex-Mex resturant. However it holds a place in Covington liken to the way a chipotle would. In comparison to a resturant like Chipotle, Bullritos stacks up relatively well. They have burritos, tacos, and a variety of Tex-Mex inspired plates. Generally, whatever you choose from there menu will be pleasing and filling. The setting and ambience of the resturant are pretty chill, and has a nice seating arrangement while dining in. Overall, I would recommend Bullritos to others in the Covington area who have a taste for Tex-Mex food above the caliber of Taco Bell or liken to Chipotle. read more

Went by in the evening. They should have blinds instead of dark window tint. Looks like they are closed after dark. Employees very nice!! There is no Mexican atmosphere and with the competition they have in Covington, that is a HUGE MISTAKE. Food is decent but there is a spice in the rice, maybe in everything, that gives your breath such a bad odor nobody can stand to be around you for two days. Margirita served in a styrofoam cup. Not good. The strawberry tasted so awful nobody at the table could drink it. One sip was nauseating. Get some clues on what you need to do and you can make it in Covington. Otherwise, quit loosing money, take your losses and go home. read more

I just finished their excellent burrito and I can't wait to go back! This is the first time I've been there and knew I had to take a few minutes to rate them 5 stars, easily. We need one of these in NC, which I just told the very nice girl working there too. They have pulled pork and tamales, gotta try that next time. Even the name and logo is cool, but the freshness and tasty food are above Moes, Chipotle, and Qdoba. You guys in Covington are spoiled having this place! When you walk in, you're expected to write your order on a paper bag which I thought was weird. I ordered a vegetarian burrito. When I took my first bite, it was lukewarm. They were big though, so if that's all you're looking for in a burrito, definitely go here. Mine tasted okay, not great. I've had better burritos at Chipotle and Urban Burrito. I was most disappointed by how much waste they created. The paper bag that you write your order on, the disposable plates, plastic wear, Styrofoam cups, the tortilla chips are individually wrapped in a plastic bag, and unfortunately, the list goes on. I wouldn't go here again because of their lack of environmentally consciousness alone. Also, the margaritas tasted like chemicals. However, the service was excellent. read more
