Chili's is definitely bringing the heat! I started with the Sunrise Dream Margarita. At a mere $6, it gave what it was supposed to give. I had two!. On my platter, O had the Nashville hot mozzarella sticks, southwestern eggs and sliders. The portion is great for sharing or as your entree. It was a tasty meal. The Nashville hot mozzarella sticks had just the right amount of kick. A plus about Chilis is that happy hour is every weekday till close. The catch is that you have to sit at the bar. Booooooo! I think that is unfair but hey, now I know. My waitress was cool and on top of things, so good customer service was definitely happening. It's a family place but good for date night too. Placed an online order and they COMPLETLY messed the order up. I paid $42 to have my order made wrong. I only asked for no bacon on my burgers and they took off the onions as well. For both of my triple dippers, I asked for 2 orders of big mouth bites and an order of mozzarella sticks. I ended up receiving one of them with mozzarella sticks and one with tenders which I did not ask for as well as all my burgers made wrong. About 40 minutes later when I got to the food and noticed it was made wrong, I called and a lady answered the phone and asked how she could assist me. I explained to her that I received the wrong thing for my order and she asked me to give her a second and the put me on hold for about 2 minutes then came back, picked up the phone, and hung up in my face when I said hello. I was craving the Chili's that I remember being it's been several years since I have eaten here. The location in Covington was newer and clean upon entry. The staff was nice and we were seated promptly. It was just after lunch on Monday so the store was maybe 25% full. Our server was friendly and he was moving us through being it was lunch to help us get on our way. Like I said I was craving it and the ribs specifically. I ordered the half rack with fries and mac and cheese. The ribs were fairly large and came with sauce on the side, which was good because I love bbq sauce. I remembered the ribs just falling off the bone but not this time. They were a little tough and a struggle to get them off the bone. The fries were poorly seasoned which shocked me. The Mac and cheese seemed to be from the day before because it wasn't creamy and no seasoning on that either. It was very easy to check out with the table side check out. This place was a waste of time. We waited over 45 minutes for three salad and two orders of chicken tenders. Then they tried to comp us 1 dessert for 5 people. Then the manager came out and trying to make it better gave us 4 dessert. To make it worst they did not make an attempt to clear the table so there was room to try and eat the deserts. I had to move everything to another table to have enough room. In all the years this place has been open I have only gone 3 times and it has been horrible all 3 times. Do not waste your time, or your money. It is overly loud and the wait time is not worth the quality. There are too many restaurants to choose from in Covington. Go to any other place. read more

We went to Chili's on Dogwood in Conyers and had the most disturbing experience!!! This restaurant seems to not have gotten back on track since COVID's. The waitress was really nice and took our order. She also bought us chips and salsa and sodas. While waiting for our entrees all the power in the restaurant shut down!!!! We sitting there in the evening light wondering what's going the waitress comes over and tells us we will not be getting any food(we were already going to leave). Unbelievable!!! This is my first visit to this location. The service was good . The staff is friendly. There were a lot of regulars there. It had a neighborhood feel even though it's a chain restaurant. The loaded baked potato soup was very good for a cold day warm up. The salad was fresh and crisp. The just bacon burger was cooked perfectly. Juicy with pickles lettuce and tomato. So let me start this off by saying chili's is an appetizer and drink spot. We had appetizers and drinks with no problem. The actual food is no bueno. My quesadilla was messed up n prepared twice. Then the fajita was burned so badly it was not edible. On the way out my quesadilla was fixed but after waiting two hours in wait time and then seated with food turning out poorly I was very disappointed. First time here server and manager were nice tho. After being seated with menus, we waited for over 20 minutes and no server ever came to take our drink order. We ended up leaving. No one ever noticed our present. There were like 10 fries spread out on this huge plate so it didnt make it look presentable. One of my friends ordered chips and salsa, these never came to the table. I've been coming here since they opened a few years ago.its always been told notch until today. I see there's a new GM with no clue of what's going on. He's changed all the alcohol around, for no reason. So I sit and watched him as he told one of the other managers that it's too much clutter in the bar area. I was totally shocked because I didn't see any clutter. But I did watch the other manager he spoke with, prepare food with no gloves on. And serve food to customers the same way. It took 30 minutes to get my food. The fries were warm and the burger hot. The place was not busy. I did not receive any eating utensils. When finished the waitress that took my order came by and took the plate and glass since it too was empty. Did not ask if I wanted a refill. Had to wait 10 more minutes before she came back so I could pay. She told me the price but would not give me the remote device to pay. She took my CC, allowed me to select tip amount but did not allow me to take the survey or ask me if I wanted a receipt. I've been going to this location for a couple years and it has historically been slow in getting food out to the customers. This kind of service will result in people not coming here.
