Service was very, very friendly, but slow unfortunately due to it being around happy hour. Also very quiet unfortunately, I was very disappointed in my cheesesteak with onion straws at $19.52, which I ordered with xtra cheese. I wanted provolone and white American. It seemed I got only two slices; both on the same side of the sandwich, because when I took home the leftover half for my son, there was No cheese on it at all. I had been told to try Tubby Tom's specifically, because I was searching for an authentic Philly Cheesesteak. It was off. I chose classic sautéed onions and mushrooms, but the steak simply lacked flavor. There was a large enough portion (see photo) but I had to keep adding salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, just to get some taste - I was so looking forward to that yummy juicy steak but it wasn't there and there def was NOT extra cheese ! The roll was tasty and chewy . I'm just quite shocked at the price. A steak with scrumptious Caesar salad and two additional vegetables is only $16.50 at Longhorn. I'm perplexed, perhaps it's not usda...IDK... maybe a bad day. The onion straws were very yummy and the staff and customers were all so friendly. I will definitely go back again, but not for a $20 cheese steak . I would like to try the Italian hoagie and the Tuna salad Sandwich. I heard the potato salad is very good, and sliced fried Russet potatoes , so I'm looking forward to both of those!!!! Great spot as I'm new to the area. We've been to this location before and ordered food from their Little Phillies side. Today we ordered the same thing we got a month ago. This time the food was overpriced and we were told the combo doesn't come with a drink. We really like this place but today for $35 (2 meals) with no drinks - we will not be back. First off we ordered poppers and they came out cold! We ordered wings dry and fries crispy. Waited about 30 mins and the wings came out swimming in sauce!!! The waitress took them back and a guy from the kitchen brought them back within 5 mins, looked like they wiped them off so the guy took them back to the kitchen.. A few mins hes back with the same basket and they added seasoning to them still wet! Finally just told them to take them off our bill we had already waited 45 mins at this point!! I've read most of the reviews here and the majority of them are just the typical complaints from customers who didn't get great service. This is a sports bar that serves alcohol (full bar) & traditional sports bar food with a Tubby's twist is what I call it. The food is at for everyone but you can bet it's good. When I say with a Tubby's twist I mean pickles & peppers on everything. You can ask for all that to be taken off especially the salads. The employees are down to earth & provide the best service you can get. The kitchen does get backed up from time to time just like any restaurant. So if you want a place that caters, babies or puts you on a pedal stool this isn't your place. If you want a place to watch sports,drink beer, eat wings, burgers etc this is your spot. We were very disappointed with the service we received today and the lack of caring from the "manager" on duty. We placed a big order for a Super Bowl party to be picked up at a specific time. When we got there our order was not ready but they told us that they were working on it. We sat there for 20 minutes waiting (past our pick up time that we set) for them to tell us that they only had 35 wings left and did we want them. Normally when you take pre orders you allot for what customers had pre ordered and then fill the call in orders. Apparently this was very hard for the "manager on duty" to understand. Apparently the sign that has specials states "7.99 for cheesesteak and fries" (that's it) Well guess what people it's only for dine in ( however we did dine in and got a to-go order too) so we got overcharged for that plus charged.75 for cheese we didn't get. The service from this restaurant absolutely HORRIBLE. The owner and manager are both very rude don't want to fix there mistakes. My family and I actually come here pretty frequently. Unfortunately, I believe the state of this place is in decline. The first time I came here I had a meatball sub. I loved it. Tasted fantastic. Over time I found the Reuben, which is IMO the best thing on the menu. Let's talk this visit. I went back to my first meal and decided to get a meatball sub again. We also ordered lemon pepper wings. These had good flavor, a little strong on the flavors, but still good overall. The only reason for a second star on this review. My sub came, and it will go down as the worst sub I've eaten, including some of the crap I've experienced at subway. The meatballs lacked any binding agent, so it was a ground beef sub at best. There was more sauce than meat. The entire thing had a single flavor: oregano. As far as I know, half the spice bottle made it into my sandwich. The fries that came with it were bland, no flavor at all. Worst meal I've had here. Complained to the staff, still had to pay for it. They didn't do anything for me. Wait staff ignored us most of the meal, didn't clean off the table as we finished with things. I can't recommend this establishment anymore. Update: still takes forever to get food. Everything else is still relevant as well. I'll be surprised if they can keep the doors open much longer. read more

Stopped into this new place to watch the hockey game on Wednesday night. As expected, the bar was not full to capacity midweek but there was plenty of staff on hand to take care of everyone quickly and efficiently. I found the staff to be very friendly, plenty of TVs and they werehappy to accommodate my request for an out-of-town hockey game. I had already eaten dinner but chose to try the lemon pepper wings that one special and was very happy with them. Not only were the wings very meaty but the seasoning was extremely good as well. The menu items are mostly identical, but Tubby Toms offers alcohol and a bar atmosphere, while also charging more for the same exact food you get at Little Phillies....wait staff is fair at best. Spent over $60.00 on a to go order, when I arrived home my order was not correct! Called to inform the establishment and was told, if I bring the order back, then it would be corrected. This is not Dominos Pizza...this mistake is not on me! Why would I order a to go order and find it convenient to bring a wrong sandwich back. The lady on the phone acknowledged the fact the food was wrong, yet she had no intentions of satisfying or correcting the poor service and responsibility of their mistake. Nasty place with roaches everywhere, their drinks are super expensive, double the price of any normal bar. This place is horrible. The drinks are double the price of normal bars. This Pam reviewer seems to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. I usually don't review much on yelp, but I feel that with Tubby Toms having so few reviews the record needs to be set straight. I'm not a local but I come here weekly and have never had a bad experience. The food is good, it's clean, the staff is nice and personable, and I've always had a good time. There are lots of tvs and they will change the stations if you ask. I'm not sure what else to say but I like this place.... And Daryl the bar tender is cool. read more
