I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at MM a few days ago. A slice of pizza, a house salad, and a glass of good Bonanza wine. Friendly service. The pizza slice was delicious! Great crust and mozz. Salad was cold, crunchy, green, and pickles onions were a nice surprise. Seatmates at the bar were nice folks. 10/10! read more

Pizza was good but not special or branding. Sat at bar, waited for about 10 minutes before bartender appeared, she confirmed my beer, poured and place it as far away from me as possible!!! No check back on pizza or beer, nor did the other 5 guests sitting at the bar get a check back. 4 of the 5 left before I did and their dirty plates stayed where they left them which prevented anyone else from sitting there. Now she was doing things, helping the team but totally disregarded her bar guests which should have been her main focus. In 50 plus years of dining out, this is the first time I didn't leave a tip. Felt bad about it but my actions was warranted, compounded by the woman who kept passing by me was MOD! By myself, I wouldn't return but if friends or family wanted to, I would suck it up. TVs were showing World Cup and ESPN, music was appropriate. read more

This restaurant is so funky.pretty inside. It gives a retro, in space kind of vibe. Great decor for a kids birthday or celebration. The restaurant was very busy but also quick to fulfill orders. It took about 15-20 minutes to get a pizza from scratch. The pizza itself though surprisingly was nothing to brag about. It was decorated pretty but tasted to bland. I also didn't get a chance to eat it right away. So, perhaps its better when you consume it hot , fresh and out of the oven. I would have to visit again to determine. read more

Ordered placed, 2 lunch specials: 2 pepperoni & sausage slices and a CHEESE slice with a salad. After about 20 minutes and watching everyone else who ordered before and after us get their food, I go to the counter to ask about it. The MANAGER inputted the incorrect table number when our ordered was placed. They bring one order but not the cheese pizza and salad. I finish a slice, see 2 other patrons get their food and walk back up to the counter to ask can we at least get the salad. The cashier flippantly replies that it's coming. I say, it's just a salad and it's been a full 30 minutes at this point. Shoulder shrug and says they had to remake it and walk off. Salad arrives. We wait another 7 minutes, still no CHEESE pizza. I go back to the counter, MANAGER says they are making it now. NOW???? It's been 30 minutes. Finally get the CHEESE slice and the manager is not apologetic, nothing. Customer service is definitely lacking. Betty and Mary do better! Yall suck!!! read more

We've been longtime customers of Mellow Mushroom and have always considered it a go-to spot for a special treat, especially the calzones. Unfortunately, over time we've noticed a gradual decline in portion size and overall quality. On our most recent visit to the Conyers GA-20 location, we spent $69.02 on two small pizzas and a calzone. The calzone in particular was noticeably smaller and less satisfying than what we remember from past visits, and both pizzas felt a bit underwhelming in preparation, including arriving uncut. Overall, the experience didn't reflect the value or consistency we used to associate with this restaurant. This feedback comes from disappointment rather than frustration. We genuinely remember when this location felt like a reliable treat and would like to see it return to that standard. We hope this is helpful feedback for improvement. read more

I love Mellow Mushroom! Every time I come with friends it's always lively, fast paced and entertaining. It's located by the Honda Dealership in Conyers. A very convenient location since you're about 5-10 minutes away from I-20. Since the location is so convenient and by everything, the wait time can be a tad overwhelming. It's sort of a self-seating pizza spot since crowds can be by the masses. There are plenty of TVs showing the latest sporting game. Definitely a place to catch the game or enjoy a slice of pizza in the middle of the day read more

I have been going to Mellow Mushroom for 20 years now and the quality and consistency of the food and staff have always been top notch.

Spent $30 on a 7 slice pizza the manager was very argumentative and refused to fix it, if I could give 0 stars I would this place is sorry af & I wouldn't recommend it to a homeless person Get new management ASAP read more

The pizza is good. Salads are good. Wings are good. The restaurant is always packed, but their service is fast. The environment is like a hippie, stoner pizza joint where you can relax, have a good time and watch some tv or be with friends and family read more

Pizza took 3 hours, place was a mess, the founders of MM must be gone because this can't be what they expect their restaurants to be like. Pizza was bad, after such a long wait! Will never come back. read more

I placed an order for delivery. It included a gallon of lemonade. It was straight water. You can see right through it. I called the restaurant where they offered to refund the cost. I called the wrong location. I called the right location and requested a refund. I was told "you can come up here and get another one". They refused to give me a refund. That was the Conyers location. read more

jamie was rude... period , good pizza but she's rude and dismissive .. the girl training was nice but not her

I thought the gentleman that took my order was rude. I've always loved Mellow Mushroom and their staff has always been super friendly in the past, but I wasn't pleased with my experience on my last visit. I ordered 2 pizzas for take out. One was a meat lovers and the other was a white pizza. Both pizzas were great. I wanted one of the mix drinks to take back to the house but they aren't doing that now. I liked it during Covid when they would allow you to carry out drinks. My rating would be 5 for the food, 1 for the rude dude who wasn't friendly or helpful when I was placing my order. The staff if probably the reason the reviews are getting lower. read more

I give it 4 out of 5 stars because IMHO, a better setup is needed to determine who is waiting to be seated because people were pushing in around me to get on the waiting list. I get they are short-handed but. I was standing there with a cane and my service dog. Given the fact that that someone asked to see the card for my service dog, they saw me standing there and what people were doing. Rather than make an issue, I waited. Aside from that, the food and service were great. I totally love the spinach salad. You should totally go, and plan to wait, its a popular spot. read more

Mellow Mushroom - Just Betty & Mocha. - Pizza Near Me - Conyers, Georgia

So the pizza and wings are pretty decent. The service is just okay they need to have more staff on deck for busy times. The last time I went with my kids they said there was a wait but they couldn't tell us how long the wait would be and the place was filthy dirt Tables and floors I assume due to being Short staffed but not what customers want to see when they are going to eat. Also, the new mascot if you will is not visually pleasing and I'd think would be scary for children especially since this is a family dining place. read more

I love Mellow Mushroom pizza and really want to give as much business as possible but........The last two visits have been extremely difficult especially when communicating with the staff. We ordered pick up both times and the first time I ordered a steak calzone but got a pizza dough stuffed with cheese and something that was not steak. I called to let them know and the poor girl was having a hard time figuring out what to do. Second visit today I ordered online received email saying it will be ready for curbside pick up at 7:04. I called upon arrival put on hold twicWell 7:10 rolls around and I was informed it would be about 10 minutes. read more

Mellow Mushroom - Not very busy today. - Pizza Near Me - Conyers, Georgia

It's Mellow Mushroom. What's not to like? I love This place. Only problem is that a LOT of other people like it as much as I do. It's usually a bit crowded. God bless 'em. I usually just get pizza to go. read more

Just ordered a pizza today. It's usually pretty good, but usually a little dry, so I started asking for extra sauce and that makes it better. I did the same thing today, however, who ever was making the pizzas decided to put triple the amount of sauce anyone should put on a pizza, causing it to be super soggy. It was as if we ordered a lasagna pizza. It was so drenched that the dough didn't fully cook. On top of that, it seemed like they just threw all the toppings and cheese in the center , without trying to spread it evenly throughout the pizza. I probably will not be eating at this location ever again. read more

We decided to sit outside tonight & the weather is perfect. But the chairs are way too big for the tables. Extremely odd for sure! But none the less the food is decent and the beer is cold. Now onto the service. It's a lil busy but our server is on top of it. So kudos to her for being great! Only bad thing is the tables & chairs outside. read more

Mellow mushroom is great! They ave a great selection. Service is great and the atmosphere was fun!

The pizza wasn't made right , it felt thrown together , all toppings came off when picked the pizza up overall an ok experience

Pizza was good. Service was terrible A lady sat us but didn't give us menus or utensils. We sat there for about 15 minutes when someone stopped by and asked us what we wanted. Still no menus or utensils. Told her we needed menus another 5 minutes later menus but no utensils. She came back took our order still no utensils. Received our food no utensils. Had to flag down another waitress just to get utensils. Worst service ever. Seems like training needs to be taught when seating guests the menus and utensils are apart of their job. I shouldn't have to ask multiple people for menus or utensils. read more

Good food, service sucks. This picture is of staff having a conference while I wait, by the front door, to be seated. This was a good five minutes after I was asked whether I wanted inside or outside. I finally got seated and waited. And waited. Another maybe 7-8 minutes without even being looked at by a server, I walked. Went down the street to Atlanta Pizza. Not my favorite pizza but really really nice people working there. I was seated about 30 seconds after I walked in and had a small Greek salad infant of my in under three minutes. Every time I asked for something, the server said "of course". Felt like a family restaurant. read more

What is there not to like!! Every single time I go, i am never disappointed!! Hands down my favorite pizza spot!

Friends don't let friends eat bad pizza...Evette The moral of the story is that my friend (a resident of Newton County) was raving about this place...the crust, the fresh ingredients, the flavors and how "those hippies sure make a great tasting pizza!" (In that amazing Georgian accent that I love so much!) So...after meeting up with a (new) friend (met during her time vacationing in Vegas) in Covington, my daughter and I stopped in for a medium cheese pizza, for her and the Enlightened salad with Esperanza dressing (Esperanza is my late moms name and it means HOPE:), for me. My salad was perfect, my daughter really enjoyed the pizza and my friends got to enjoy the remaining slices she couldn't finish. We ordered at the counter and brought the food home to enjoy. Bottom line...it's a great food establishment, the staff were lovely folks, it was busy inside so be patient, I believe you can order online (do it), I tried calling in our order but cell reception was spotty and the employee could barely hear me. I had her on speaker as I was driving **fail**on my part...And lastly, if you check in on Yelp (tell them whilst you're placing the order), you RECEIVE FREE pretzel bites (we call them garlic knots out west)! Enjoy and stay healthy, happy, peaceful and positive!! Love, your fellow Vegas Yelp friend! *-* read more
