We stopped into Bullitt Bar in the early evening while pub crawling through downtown. It wasn't packed since it was outside of peak hours, so there was plenty of seating available. The bartender was friendly and the drinks were fine, fairly standard pours and options. I really liked the ambience and decor of this spot. There were guitars under the clear countertops, interesting wall art, and just an overall kind of rocker vibe that I enjoy. I would imagine when busy it would get a little overwhelming just with the way it's set up, but going during a chill time it was fun to have a couple drinks. read more

This used to be my go-to bar until last night. As I was waiting for my friends to come in the bouncer decides to NOT check other peoples IDs and let them in before my friends that I was clearly taking up space waiting for. I nicely tapped his should to ask why he wasn't letting them in and he freaked out on me. He started to yell at me and thats when my boyfriend jumped in to tell him not to speak to me in that way. The man proceeds to tell my boyfriend that he "will lose his life tonight" if he continues and if he wants to fight him. Usually we buy bottles here and get tables but we will not be returning. Bullitt is not what it used to be and I can't believe we have given them so much of our time and money. If you want to be threaten by the bouncer, surrounded by underaged drinkers, and in a space that's obviously at capacity then Bullitt is the place to be. read more

Cool little walk in bar, has a nice dark chill vibe to it. The bartender was very nice and seemed to work well with a crowd on her own. I just came in for some beer and kept bar hopping. But next time I'll be back for a hat! I love their logo. They seem to have a nice local following. And if I was hoppin around to try other bars out I would've stayed longer. The bathroom is kind of interesting to find as it's behind a well painted mural lol. If you're young and wanna get loud and have a great time this could be the bar for you, everyone here seems to have a lot of fun but with certain boundaries. I have been here around 50 times and just noticed I have never reviewed it. Love this bar! Always great DJ's, always a good crowd and people dancing on the tiny dance floor. Also have been to several of their event block parties, most recent being last St Patty's. Also great well known DJ's for those and lots of fun inside and out. You know what.... Also was at their cinco de mayo block party but missed the freestyle motocross one . This bar makes many bar hopping guides and has a diff vibe than most places. A cute bar in downtown Orlando. We went very early to walk around after happy hour. The walls were lined with fake skulls, the bar had what looked like thick glass full of bullet holes, and there were many chandeliers dripping with old white candle wax. We were bar hopping in Orlando for my birthday and stumbled upon this place. When we entered, it was mildly busy but not crowded. There seems to be a huge population of cliché hipsters. The air was smokey from cigarette smoke so that was a bad sign. My husband, brother, and I found a spot by the bar. We literally stood there for 10 minutes with no service. The bar wasn't so busy that they didn't have time to serve us. The girl served the guy next to us who happened to be sitting down and finished his drink. There was a male and female bartender, who both walked by us mutiple times and made eye contact but never greeted us and asked what we wanted to drink. There were 3 set of eyeballs staring at them and they still chose to ignore us. A good bartender greets their customers even if they're busy. Well guess what honey, I'll take my money elsewhere and never return. We walked over next door to Bauhaus and was greeted by the doorman. The service was night and day compared to Bullitt. If they don't want to serve us then there's plenty of other fishes in the sea! If you want to be served then don't go to this place; you will be ignored unless you're a cloned hipster. read more

What I dig about this place: The brick walls with embedded shelves, basically much of the decor is pretty cool. The small porch area up front. The comfy booths in the back. What could be worked on? The music, but hey, it's different from time to time. The bartenders on Friday night were very cool. They took the time to chat about what they carry and what drinks they love the best. Yay! First to review my NEW FAVORITE bar in ORLANDO! Too bad I don't live there anymore, or I would be getting drunk every night they are open! The bartenders are HOT, the pours are STRONG, and the decor and vibe of this place is AMAZING! Their bar is decorated with nostalgic vintage auto maker signs and the couches are made like the the seats of the back of a vintage car! The most shocking fabulous part is the bar! They have a cut out from an old van that has hot chicks airbrushed to create a custom fridge/cooler for their beer! You have to see it to believe it! Every night I was there, they played good music and the patrons were friendly too! I'll be back again soon! Another amazing spot created by Jim Faherty, the legend of Orlando rock bars!!!!!!!!!! The music was so loud you could hear it from down the block and the DJ was meh. I didn't order any drinks but I did notice one of the bartenders grabbing a bottle from below the counter and taking a shot from it directly.. which I hope wasn't a bottle that gets used for customer consumption. Watch out ladies the owner of this bar gets a power trip out of keeping young female's credit cards. This happened to my daughter this weekend. She left her card and after she came back and inquired about it the owner told her he didn't have it. My husband had to go at the next day and get it which he gladly did gave it to him. Pretty much everything you would want in a dive. The atmospher to the DJ's to the drinks are on point. Even when a DJ is not spinning, the music is always great. I love the set up. There are two separate bar areas - one when you first walk in and another as you go further into the bar. The drinks are always on point. One of my favorite shots are American Honey which I pretty much get all the time. The bartenders remember you and that's a plus for me especially because I'm a regular. One thing that I would like to see more of, and maybe I'm asking too much, but I'm a wine drinker and on more than one occasion they have enough for only one glass. Come on, am I really asking too much? Maybe I am because it's a dive bar and wine is not a usual request. Not sure but I ask every time nonetheless. On the weekends the bar is all the way live. Mine and my husband's favorite DJ, DJ Double A, plays on Sunday night's so I'm usually going to be in the house. There is a dance floor towards the back of the bar by the DJ booth, and private / "VIP" booths as well. Also, they do have a pole for dancing that's located in a smaller private section that has heavy, dark curtains for privacy. First and foremost, I love the way this bar looks. A lit glass bar top riddled with bullet impacts in front of an old brick wall which has had sections removed and bottles placed inside [see photo], a hanging light made from motorcycle exhaust pipes [photo], and a couple of booths in the back upholstered like a classic car. The bar in the back has a refrigerator made out of the back of a van, which is sticking out of the wall. One section of the bar closest to the front door actually contains an old motorcycle in glass. The drinks are good and the prices are about what you'd expect. I prefer this place a little bit earlier before the busiest part of the evening, because before it gets crowded is the perfect time to hang out with a few friends and still be able to hear each other talk. read more

I must say, Bullitt Bar is my alter ego. I absolutely enjoy coming here! Although I don't frequent the bar as often as I used to, every time I come back I feel at home! I absolutely love Nikki! She's always been a fantastic bartender and knows how to tend to us crazy patrons that visit during happy hour! Lindsey is my go to girl if I can't make it to happy hour! She's got a great attitude and knows her drinks! I love the paintings on the wall and love how they opened up the place to add a third bar! I am a HUGE Bullitt fan (I own all the merch, haha) because this is one of the few bars in Orlando that ANYONE can go to and feel welcomed! read more

One word that immediately came to mind upon entering this place was eclectic. From the staff themselves to the Van beer fridge all the way to the stripper pole...eclectic rings true in the desciption of the place. The music went from indie to rap to rasta all without skipping a beat. A lot going on here, but overall was a great place to come in and chill while having a beer and chatting with friends. I was there early evening on a Saturday, so the music was not crazy loud and the place was not packed yet, so some of the reviews I can not vouch for...but my experience was a pretty good one and one that will bring me back for sure...especially to see what goes on with that stripper pole!! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was waiting in line for the bathroom for around 10 minutes, and 2 girls cut in front of us. We told them there was a line that they had to get in, and they said "No we've been waiting here for 5 minutes". We argued for a little bit about it, we ended up letting them go because it's not worth it at a downtown bar. 15 minutes later, we see her talking to a worker who then kissed her and smacked her ass. 10 minutes later, we're being kicked out because we were fighting with "the girlfriend of the bar back". I visit Orlando with friends often and have been to plenty of downtown bars and have never had any negative interactions with workers, their friends and families, or even significant others. I work in a bar and I know how it is, but don't let the "girlfriend of the barback" treat patrons like dirt. One of the worst bar experiences I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. On top of this awful experience, there wasn't a single ply of toilet paper or paper towels in any of the 3 floors in the entire place. Do better. read more

Unfortunately I've only been here once, so they review may be updated in the future with more details. Bullitt Bar is a relatively new place in downtown. The decor is heavily influenced by American muscle-cars (hence the name!). The main thing I noticed while there is that they actually play a good variety of music. You won't just hear top 40 blaring into your eardrums. The bartenders were responsive and mix a mighty fine gin and tonic. I definitely need to make it out there again. read more

Bullitt didn't do it for me at all, which is unfortunate-- the decor and feel of the place is really fun-- very divey and as the name suggests they took their inspiration from American muscle cars. We started the night out there around 10p, and it was totally dead. Stayed for a couple rounds of drinks-- the bartenders had no personality and weren't particularly friendly or helpful. They set down our drinks and just walked away without so much as a smile. We were there on a Tuesday for Dubstep/Electronica night and the DJs were playing some good stuff-- but just not good enough to entice us to hang around. Had it not been for the DJ we would have immediately walked out after speaking with a particular female bartender with brunette or black hair. My husband and I ordered a couple of cocktails and asked to start a tab to which this bartender replied, "we're leaving soon so I'm just gonna close you out", which is code for "I'm not letting the bartenders who are coming on get the tip, I want the tip". This was remarkably unprofessional, tacky, and distasteful. On a brighter note there is a really cool piece of art in the middle of the bar which looks like a van backing into the joint. This is one of my go to places here in Orlando. I was introduced to this spot because my bike club members are regulars here. Its a plus that they allows cuts in their establishment because of the stupid stereotype associated with MCs. The atmosphere here is awesome but I enjoy the bar atmosphere more then a lounge in some cases. I usually sit by the bar closest to the window because you can see out to the street and when it's open it's nice to have that fresh air. They have done some remodeling since I was last there but still great place to enjoy a few drinks and hang out. read more
