Stagger Inn gives off a local dive bar feel. It is small but has a decent amount of seating at and around the bar. The staff is super kind, though, at least those have been experiences. There is nothing to really write home about as far as drinks go (be prepared to NOT order any specialty cocktails or drinks that require the bartenders to know how to make them beyond the basic cocktail, because you will be disappointed). As I said, they are great for your most basic drink types and beers. If you are looking for a more elevated cocktail experience, then just visit Mathers, The Phoenix, or any of the more specialty cocktail bars/lounges in Downtown Orlando. There are TVs for the folks looking to watch whatever sporting event is showing that day. Pricing is pretty good, especially if you catch their happy hour specials. It is not a usual spot for me, but the times I've gone, my experiences have been pleasant. read more

Bartenders were friendly, music was good, they were showing a few football games on the large TVs installed throughout the place, and we also appreciated the complimentary popcorn they offered to customers. Some patrons appeared to be regulars and knew the staff, and even felt comfortable going behind the bar at times to help themselves to things like condiments and napkins. That said, this place fell down on us a few times. First, when we arrived, I asked for a very simple cocktail and the bartender told us they couldn't make them. She said they had liquor, but not the ability to offer cocktails. I just ordered a beer at that point, then I watched as she and the other bartender made mixed drinks for other patrons. OK?? The second strike was that it appears I was heavily overcharged for our drinks here. At nearly all the bars we patronized in this general area of downtown Orlando that night, we paid about $11 before gratuity for 2 beers. Here at Stagger Inn, I was charged nearly $44 for 2 beers and 2 whiskeys on the rocks. Unfortunately I wasn't given a check with a breakdown of charges, only the final credit card bill with tip line when we were ready to pay and leave. In sharp contrast, the next spot we went to across the street charged us $13 and change for a beer and a mixed drink. Needless to say I wasn't happy. read more

As a last minute decision, we decided to catch a Monday night football game after dinner and settled on this bar. It's definitely a solid sports bar with plenty of TVs and cold beer. The bartenders were nice and service was quick. The bar has plenty of seating and some darts and additional tables around the bar. Large open windows also were nice since the weather was cooler when we went. If you're looking for somewhere to watch a game, this place will definitely work for you. read more

That was the best Magical Dining Experience I could even imagine. When you walk in they greet you and bring you to your socially distance table. You have so many options on the menu. The Chili was similar to my grandma's homemade ch. They must have hired the best chef in Orlando. The best part were the Pigs in a Blanket. I have not been here on a weekend yet. So this is a review for those of you who are maybe thinking about going here for happy hour or later in the evening on a week night. I will start by saying that the staff is friendly and the DJ will take requests. Now with that being said.... I was not impressed. Their happy hour specials are awful. You can go to lots of other places downtown and get much better specials than what's offered here. Also, the place was completely dead. As for later in the evening on a week night, it was not any better than my experience during happy hour. There were more people there, but plenty of empty seats at the bar still. The prices of their drinks were average. Also, if you're not a fan of country music...you will hate this place. That's all they play. read more

My first experience here was a good one. This place is much better than the previous establishment that was there. Central Station was a trash hole and I am glad to see it gone. Music - I went to Stagger Inn on a Friday night around 8 pm. They were playing a great mix of country music, a little bit of old and a little but of new. I love how the windows open so you get that outside vibe. Drinks - Average price. I may have missed the happy hour deals. If you do not like country this is not the place to go. But... If you are looking for a low key place that plays country to have a few drinks with some friends, this is the place. I will definitely be making another appearance. read more

We stayed here long just long enough (5hrs) to realize this is the worst bar we've ever been to. For starters, the sign said it wasn't just a country bar but they played almost all country music. The bartender was rude back to me when I was rude to him first. What ever happened to the customer always being right??? We ended up asking him for free shots to drop it. Worst food imaginable. Literally. I haven't tried it yet, but I imagine it's gonna be horrible. The staff is mostly drunk, although super hot, and they specialize in getting you so hammered that you're not sure where you are the next morning (spoiler alert, you're still there, stuck in the elevator you shouldn't have had access to). June 1st of 2022 was my first time at Stagger's. It was great. I arrived again June 3 of 2022. Had my drinks and a very few hours later they kicked me out for making someone uncomfortable???? Nobody whom I was speaking to said go away or beat it. Never told me whom or exactly what got me in trouble. They probably didn't like the fact that I was buying drinks for someone I met, I was wearing tennis shoes bc of a stressful day at work, or because I wasn't white! Who knows? And when I asked for my debit card back, they said they couldn't find it, BULLSHIT! It very confusing bc I clearly remember giving my debit card for a tequila and red redbull. Man, I had very high hopes of this bar but they blew it. Canceled my debit card before they'd undermine me for no fucking reason. read more

Good chill bar with a nice staff and some fun activities. I've been to Magnolias a couple of times with some of my poker buddies after playing at Frank & Steins (both of which are owned by the same management group). Magnolia is nice chill little bar located on a corner off Magnolia (how surprising). The staff there is very friendly and makes sure to get you some great drinks (glad that it has Sweetwater 420 on tap since many bars in Orlando don't carry it). The interior is your basic bar interior (they do have some fun art work, including the back of a car sticking out of the wall), and they have several dart machines for people to play. Overall, while this bar doesn't have anything amazingly special in terms of stuff to keep you entertained, the quality staff and good beer selection makes this a solid bar option if you are going out in downtown Orlando. read more

It's ok. I couldn't tell if it was a country bar or just another downtown bar so that the girls could wear daisy dukes instead of black pleather. Bar staff is obviously not the brightest, but fun to look at. Prices were a little high for my tastes for a "Country bar." If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. I was ending my night with two other male friends. I went to the restroom while drinking my one and only black cherry white claw of the night. I have been coming to Stagger for years. I noticed a guy, who has been with the band before, come up to me trying to talk to me. I did not want to talk to him, yet he persisted. My male friend came up telling him I did not want anything to do with him. The male proceeded to yell obscurities and grab me while I tried talking to other people. This male was clearly jealous about a random guy I was talking to and intimidated him until he left the bar. Watch the footage. My other male friend tried standing up to this person. One bartender stated "I am not dealing with your stuff tonight" to the aggressor. She kept telling him "I will not let you talk to females like this". This is when the guy with the beard who checks IDs and flips burgers at the door intervened. He immediately questioned whether or not he should call the cops on me or not based on my claims. The "bouncer" (beard dude) called the cops on ME. The cops told me if I did not have proof of this person physically aggressing me, then I basically have no say in my well being.They said they will review tapes and determine whether or not I was assaulted, physically or emotionally. All that matters to them is physical. So, the cops pull me to the side and while I am making this report they keep telling me how it is the people at Stagger vs. my friend and I just trying to feel somewhat valued as humans. They keep trying to get me to incriminate myself. When my friend and I are leaving downtown, Orlando, we have to walk pasts Stagger to get to the parking garage where two police officers from before in the night are standing and say "Where do you think you are going?!" while standing with multiple females on their phones. I keep walking and I notice it is the same cops from before. They are standing with females on their phones (I have it on video) at their leisure yelling at me as I walk by. Not only that, but the females begin yelling at me because I am telling the cops what they are doing is wrong, at which point the females are yelling back at me about "how dare I talk to her man". read more

Country music, which I like, played blaringly loud on a horrible sound system. I just can't get too positive about this place.

I'm not a country fan. This is a country bar. Let's go from there... They had a nice deal on tall boys (3 bucks for BL or PBR all day every day apparently) last Saturday afternoon so we all enjoyed a few while getting our Buck Hunter on, but when my buddy went to the electronic juke box and selected something less 'honky tonk' and more 'dirty funk,' he got a mean look from what I guess was the manager on duty. Dude actually walked over and told him he wasn't allowed to change the music again! There were literally only two other people in the joint other than our party and the two employees. What his deal was, I dunno..but certainly twas a 'are fuggin kiddin me???' kinda moment. Other than that unpleasantness our bartender was rad. So get a cheap tall boy, talk to the pretty red head behind the bar, kill virtual Bambi but for the love of God--do NOT try to turn off homeboy with the burly beard's Big and Rich...you'll be sorry. read more

One of the most rude, unprofessional bars, my girlfriend and I ever visited. We are not from Orlando but were visiting my brother there. We went to the bar bathroom and stepped outside, waiting for my brother to arrive so we could all grab a drink. Some idiot, sticks his head out of the restaurant and says "restrooms are for paying customers only, we are not allowed to use their restrooms". My girlfriend and I look at the idiot with disgust and disrespect. My brother arrived and we left to another bar that knows how to treat people with respect and professionalism.
