This is a bar near Lake Eola that has a Vegas throwback vibe. I went to watch a comedy show, and hung out for a couple drinks beforehand. The music was extremely loud and we had to shout the entire time. Even when we went in the room for the comedy, the music was too loud and distracting to the comedians. The drinks were nothing exceptional, but the seating was cool and you could bring in your own food. I feel like this place doesn't care about making money. I mean, there were probably 30+ people at the comedy show and no drink service.

The place is nothing too special. Bar tender doesn't really care if you're there but the place is clean and brings in more of the older crowd. Prices are average. We were told it gave off a red light district in Vegas... we didn't see it. Restrooms are awful. Found a whole toilet roll paper in the toilet and the stall next door ran out of toilet paper.

If you like dive bars as much as I do, StarDust Lounge will not disappoint. Actually, for the variety of spirits they have and the quality of the drinks, can't really classify it as a dive bar. Okay, how about a Stardust Lounge. Yeah, that's it! It is in the basement and the stairs leading down could be treacherous if you've tied one on. Even more treacherous going up after a night of strong drinks, pool, and great music. The crowd here is mixed, although late night the young people seem to pop up like Tribbles. Yes I did say Tribbles. If you are not sure what they are, Google it. I am smerking to myself about this Stardust/Star Trek reference. The bartenders here are great and they make exceptional drinks. The first time I found myself here under the dim red lights, it transported me back to a time where a suit was required for a night out. Besides the pool tables, and there are two, the best thing about Stardust Lounge is the activities. There is a burlesque show here, I am unsure of the night, but every one who I have talked to says it is magical.

Stardust is a cool lounge near Lake Eola in downtown Orlando. The bar is under street level down a flight of stairs. It has dim lighting and a cool retro, pinup girl era type vibe. On my most recent visit, we stopped in for a drink after walking around the Lake Eola Farmer's Market and other areas of downtown. The bartender was friendly and made some delicious drinks. We opted to try specialty drinks off of their menu; I tried their Stardust cocktail and my boyfriend tried their Tattoos and Pinups cocktail. Both of them were mixed well and pretty strong. We chilled in a small booth and enjoyed our beverages. I've never been here for the late night hours, but it's always a fun spot to pop in during the day in my experience and I'll definitely return.

Stopped by after the basketball game. There is a parking garage caddy corner to this place. It's underground, so keep an eye open for the stairwell down. Their liquor selection is modest. I wanted better bourbon options, but they didn't have much. So I went with Jameson. The DJ was doing a good job, but then he would play a song that would totally annihilate the dance floor. Everyone would just walk off. LOL. Get a clue dude. Don't play the songs that empty the dance floor. We danced. We drank. We had a good time. Bathrooms are clean. Service is good.

    Me showing off. (I missed.)

We had company here 2 weeks ago and I realized I've never reviewed this place although I've been here at least a dozen times. This bar is pretty unique and cool. First of all, it's underground which is pretty scarce downtown. It has a really cool vibe (I'm not posting any spoliers), check it out. It even has a game room.

Wow...what a little hidden gem in the underground of Orlando! I cant count the number of times I passed this place thinking it was too sketch to try...boy was I mistaken! I have now been on several occassions, some I remember more than others! I love the decor and feel of this place, retro is most definitely the word that comes to mind first. Dim but appropriate lighting, good music, cool seating, stellar staff, a hidden pocket area that holds a pool table, good drinks and apparently pretty legit burlesque shows! Usually have decent drink specials, but I usually keep it classy with the ole PBR, which might I add is a cool $2.50 for a tall boy. For me this place immediately brought memories of a trip to Boston in which my best memory was walking down a side alley and spotting an underground bar, which turned out to be one of the best highlights of that visit. Stardust allows me to recreate that experience anytime I reminisce..of course with out the loud Irish music and pickle back shots for all. Super fun place that is a treat for all senses...a must visit for someone seeking a little something different in the Orlando bar scene!

This basement bar located in the heart of downtown by lake eola usually has free cover and affordable drinks. Bartenders are always efficient and friendly. This bar offers special nights including burlesque shows and dirty bingo-which I finally had the opportunity to participate in! For EVERY drink purchase you receive a bingo card. The hostess was very funny and friendly. We lucked out and won twice:) Looking forward to the next fun bingo night! You're also asking yourself, 'self! What's the parking situation for Stardust?' Well if you get there at the right time, you may be able to find street parking or there is ample garage parking available not too far away:)

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. No complaining about that ! lol

However, we initially entered to get a picture in the photobooth for our friends birthday. There was no one at the door checking IDs. After we all piled into the photobooth, someone walked up and asked for our IDs. He wanted us to exit the booth to get them. Eventually said ok because we had already paid and on a timer. But he was very impatient. Let me add that there was not a single person in the entire place. NO ONE. Let me also add that almost our entire group is almost 40. So we're obv not underage. With the way he approached us and was completely impatient, we were a little turned off and left. Which lost them money on our entire group. He followed us out the door as we left. It was a weird experience especially when there was literally no one else in there. The music was good but I doubt and of us will to back based on that experience alone.

We went up to the bar to order real quick, and to ask the bar tender about the drinks on the happy hour menu. There weren't that many people at the bar and multiple bar tenders, but it took us so long to flag someone down. One guy at the end of the night even said someone would be with us, then he went and cleared our table even though we were going right back to it. The bar tender we ended up getting didn't speak a single word to us and he disappeared midway through our short stay. We ordered our drinks and after so long of not seeing them we decided to look for them. Turns out they were left with a group of guys at the bar. My friend was so uncomfortable because she's had bad experiences with her drinks being left unattended. We still ended up drinking them after the guys eventually left the bar. They were very bland, weak, and sweet. For $10 happy hour getting a sus drink that tasted like melted ice- big nope. I will never be going back.
