YES, there is a cover charge and YES it is MEGA worth it! I've visited this location on several occasions with friends, while "clubbing" and bar hopping downtown. The last few times we have spent most of our night at Eve. Especially if it's latino night! They have awesome DJs playing a great variety of music, eye-catching decor, and a great ambiance to hang out on a date or with a group of friends. Cocktails are great and there are plenty of seating areas. Only downside is the woman's restroom. Not only is it TINY, there are mirrors on the ceiling... NO THANK YOU!! We were invited to a party benefiting a charity during the holidays. We got there around 9pm where the music was pumping and the crowd of goers was beginning to fill up. The first thing I noticed is that the DJ had 80s music going... but it was not an 80s vintage or throwback event. For the under two hours I was there the oddest music played... songs you expect to listen to on the specific radio station. Odd. We managed to snag a table but their no backed wooden stools are horrid to sit on. They're just not meant for derrieres, I swear. You would kind of slide off it since the form was cut weird. I had to keep my foot latched onto the seat beside me, knee locked to avoid falling off. I got one drink and held onto it for the time we were there. This place turned out to be an OK night out. Let me first say the vip manager and bottle girls were perfection and very hospitable. We were a group of 4 girls who just wanted to hang out and get a bottle. Only complaint I have was the music, it was Latin night and I enjoy dancing, but they played ZERO meringue, and ZERO bachata so that was disappointing. It was all house remixes of reggaeton, the WHOLE night. Everything else was just ok, friends did a hooka and said it was pricey but they enjoyed it. I was visiting orlando last month with my friends and we were looking for a club with good music to spend some good time. We went in for free because it was ear;y and the place was literally empty! We started drinking , the drinks were not that strong i had about 3 with my husband. The music was good but very repetitive. The place is very nice thought , the stairs to go in the salon is beautiful bathrooms were clean and neat (i always look at that). Top rating for the excellent staff that work at Eve. They were very attentive and pleasant- from the door up until shutdown. When things get sticky (literally and figuratively) they clean up quickly. The interior decor is stunning and sets such a great mood. It is also great that they have a balcony over looking the town, as well as keeping the AC high and all over the club. On vacations with friends. Waited on line for a good 30 something minutes. Cover charge was $10 per person. To my surprise when we get upstairs the place is empty. You they make you wait so their line outside looks long to entice more people to come in. Tables were empty so we sat down and ordered a hookah. Hookah took like another 30 mins because something wasn't work. The hookah is made with easy lights...if you smoke you know easy lights burn extremely fast. Hookah is also $55 CRAZY. We ordered a bottle of casamigos $316 and it turns out the bartender has to keep your bottle behind the bar. I've never seen this. We ordered a round of 10 shots and the bartender is extremely sloppy and gave us doubles i guess so we didn't bother her for a while. After 20 mins of us having the hookah a bottle girl tells us our table is reserved so we needed to move to the corner of the bar with our hookah. So we did and within a few minutes we went to the dance floor since the hookah died. We also left out drinks there, the workers took our hookah as well as our drinks (some of us ordered additional drinks at the bar) so drinks went to waste and we later in the night we found out refills were free and no one told us so our hookah also went to waste. The music was great a lot of Latin music. But that's all that was nice about the night. Later on in the night i went to the bar to order 15 shots and once again the bartender seemed annoyed. We had about a quart of the bottle left at this point and i asked her to make multiple cups with chasers (pineapple or cranberry which was paid for) and all she did was make multiple shots which were over poured and gave me 1 cup of cranberry and 1 cup of pineapple. That is not what i was asking for. We ended up ordering another hookah which is when we found out about the free refills. We were able to use a table because that group left. This club lacks tables they have use couches for reserved sections. But not enough tables. Would i go back? Yes but i would drink else where before coming. Worth the money? No read more

A-OK music and drinks but I didn't see any of the entertainment. They did replay A LOT of the same music. Over and over again. I think I heard the same song about 5 times. The DJ honestly wasn't that good. I mean I saw like 3 of them play music at the same time. I was hoping that clubs in Orlando would be better or the same from Miami... they really weren't. When we first arrived the club was empty that's why they let us in for free. Good thing because if I would have paid to go in I would have been extremely upset. Came here on a Friday night around 1130pm. First off, their cover was $15 for men AND women. Most expensive cover I've ever seen in downtown Orlando. Thank goodness I came on Veterans Day and I am a vet so I was able to get in free of charge, however, my friends weren't able to. I scouted out the place just to see how it was. Lots of lights as the yelp photos showed, however, the crowd was small and slightly awkward (only 3 ppl actually dancing on the small dance floor, everyone else standing off the side and watching), and they were playing radio music (example: Fifth Harmony). If you want to pay $15 for radio music, this is your place. 2 stars because they had go-go dancers, thank GOODNESS because they needed them, and the cool interior decor, I guess. My husband and I have visited this club on more than one occasion. I must say it is hands down one of the best clubs (if not the best) in Orlando. I have partied in clubs around the world and I must say that I was completely surprised to see such an establishment in Orlando. Vanity could hold its weight in New York, L.A., Vegas, or Chicago. Its upscale style, on-the-money decor, attractive staff, and well-made drinks sets this club far above the rest. Upon arrival my husband and I were looked from head to toe which may seem pretentious to some, but to those of us who care about our appearance and have money to spend when they come out of the house, it is completely warranted. We paid a $10 per person fee (reasonable for Orlando) and proceeded up an elegant flight of stairs. Through the doorway at the top of the staircase we made a right into lush decor, and a fabulous bar scene. There is a lower level where there is a dance floor directly in front of the DJ booth, another bar, and the bottle service areas. What I love the most about this club is that I do not feel it is trying to be Miami or Vegas, but is simply bringing some much needed class to Orlando, Florida. I would have given five stars, but I am a true house head, so I'm not really one for Dub-Step and Electro House, which is what is played in this establishment. However, this music does not take away from the atmosphere of the club. I do believe it would behoove Vanity to have at least one night where deep, lounge, and classic house is played (i.e. Miguel Migs, Blue Six, Black Coffee, and Lisa Shaw etc.) on a Sunday night perhaps. There is definitely not another place like this in Orlando - or at least on Orange Ave. We like visiting Orlando because there is always a fun drinking/dancing vibe. This place stands out to us because the decor and the drinks are top notch. There is no doubt that they kept every detail in mind while creating this club. The music was great and everyone just danced everywhere. People did not just keep it on the dance floor - it seemed that they were genuinely having a great time. The real memorable impression about coming here, however, is their staff. In most places you're lucky if the doorman or bartenders even acknowledge you - I guess it's the overwhelming amount of people that come in and out of a place - it must be desensitizing. But at Vanity we had a completely different experience. We were greeted and complimented at the door and we had an amazing bartender who came back to check on how we liked our specialty drink. Most surprising is that after the music ended and the lights came on we weren't herded out like cattle - like everywhere else on this street! Another bartender actually took the time to talk to us and explained the club concept and history. We were also thanked by multiple staff as we exited the venue. I really loved how beautifully this place was decorated and how open it was, despite the size of it. It was great knowing that they had a certain section for VIP and not the entire club just being VIP with no dance floor. *ahem* name that club that actually does that *ahem* The music in here was great, it felt like a mini EDC minus the huge crowd of course. :P But overall, this club is really cool and I had a great time here. Had a blast here last weekend..we came here for my sister's birthday and the 7 of us had an awesome time ..everyone was nice..from Jerry the bouncer to Frank the bartender.... bday girl was pretty drunk and wanted to hear the remix of summertime sadness..SMH*...now we all know how much DJs dislike song request ..and it's summertime sadness for goodness sakes..but he played a short cut of it just because we requested it for her bday...*thumbs up* V. Scott (one of the security guard there) even got us a bottle of champagne and some strawberries to go with it cause it was my sister's bday..it was so nice of him..we weren't VIPs or anything ..we didn't get a table (no bottle service)..we were just there to drink and dance to some EDM ..But he went above and beyond for us..I don't wanna label it as customer service cause it was much much more than that ..anyways he made our night!..and even tried to help find my sisters when we lost them, but we found them afterwards..(when they called from the hotel). Oh yes..ladies ..watch out for them stairs in your heels/when you're tipsy...the atmosphere/design is amazing ..there's enough room on the dance floor and yes you need to dress up..but it wasn't a snobby place...at least it didn't feel that way to me...there's also a balcony space for some fresh air..and everyone working there was nice and friendly! I'm not sure about other clubs in Orlando, but Eve actually plays EDM, or maybe we just had a great DJ that night that was playing progressive house tracks. The inside is nice but there weren't a lot of people throughout the night. This was nice in that there wasn't anyone who coming to get ratchet, but I wished there could have been more energy in the crowd as well. Mostly everyone was in their seats or outside on the balcony talking. The seats were very comfortable. The employees and bouncers are friendly and pick up after you. The bartenders are great, and the drinks compared to California prices are very reasonable. Thanks to Yelp I learned about a fashion show/contest (FashionContenders) being held at Vanity this past Friday. Seemed like something new and different so I was definitely on board to attend, especially since I had been wanting to check out Vanity since I got back to Orlando (2 weeks prior). I was certainly not disappointed. The event was a good time with a great cause (providing local stylists a platform to show their work) and the venue was the perfect place for such a fashionable soiree. The sexy ambiance along with the sexy crowd that it drew in (many faces that I hadn't seen out and about in the city before) made for some delicious eye-candy while waiting for the fashion show to begin. I loved the lighting, especially the main chandelier that dazzles the room where the DJ is stationed. I also loved the fact that Vanity has 3 bars. Makes for getting drinks in a timely manner an easy feat, which allows for a full night of doing whatever you came there to do - hang with your friends, people watch, test out your new pickup lines, etc. Vanity is unlike anything else in Orlando right now. At least anything else that I'm familiar with. I'd absolutely suggest paying it a visit and bringing along some of your favorite people to dance the night away with. read more

Not a full 5 stars cuz the doorman was very rude! I went on a Wednesday night and let the doorman know that my party and I are on the guest list and he could not be bothered. He said there is no guest list, so I show him the website and he says "oh idk about that, u can ask her" because he was trying to charge the guys a cover. So we just say "forget it" and walk away cuz there are no shortages of promoters on the street wanting us to come in for free (especially since it's a Wednesday). So while we walk away, one of the promoters comes up to me and says "hey wanna go to eve..." And I told him what happened and he said that won't happen if ur party walks in with me. While we walked in we walked right past that doorman again and he just smirked. So after getting in the service was great. The music was on point. So went to the James Bond themed NYE event and the event itself (DJ, music, vibe) was good. Once again it came down to bad bar tending. Eve makes it a point to have all female bartenders which isn't a bad thing if you're trying to play off their looks and get dumb drunk guys to keep going to them and buy. However when they can't make basic drinks then there's a problem. If you ask them to do any drink outside of a basic liquor and juice your screwed. On top of that, on NYE one of the bartenders gets an attitude and purposely ignored my wife because she said we haven't tipped her, lol. The American mentality of 'I deserve a tip for doing my basic job' at a mediocre level I might add is hilarious. Forget the fact that we dropped $100 for tickets there and up to that point had spent an additional $140 on drinks. So you wanna be a bitch? This place is pretty sweet. Nothing more expensive than what the rest of downtown clubs charge. The guy at the door was awesome. Told us they only accepted cash for cover and directed us to the ATM across the street. When we came back to pay and enter, he waived the fee ($40 total) and said it was because we were dressed well and we were the kind of people they wanted inside of the venue. The sound system was nice and loud, but not to loud. It was nice to be in a place like this and still be able to talk to the people you were with. It is definitely not a huge grinding sweaty club scene, its more of a hybrid between a really classy bar and a dance club. All in all I had a very nice time there and I appreciated the free cover.
