High on the Frog Locally-owned and operated brewery and brewpub that's been in operation for nearly forty (ca. 1986) years. They're located in the heart of Downtown Williamsport and bring their A game when it comes to food and brews. The Good: *Great location right across from the theater (we were there to see a graduation) *Friendly service *Small dog-friendly front patio *Live music *Sunday Brunch *Fried Pierogis were delicious and served up hot and fresh. I wish they were a little more seasoned, as the mashed potato filling needed more salt. But ain't that the way taters always is? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ *Carissa loved her Korean BBQ Salmon Salad, as the fish was cooked perfectly and the house KBBQ sauce was delicious. *Huge draft list of housemade beers, ciders, and even sodas. *My Pittsburger was epic! Talk about a meal in one handful: burger, slaw, and fries all packed neatly between two soft pillowy buns made this a Man vs Food episode in the making. The Meh: *Free but limited street parking. There are several small lots adjacent but I'm not sure what their limitations are. The Ugly: *The place can fill up fast, especially if there's an event/show at the aforementioned theater. Conclusion: Great beer, ambiance, and food. Say less.

Ambiance was chill. Staff was friendly. Food was great. We had the nachos, crab dip, and pretzel log. All filling, very satisfied.

What I received versus what Untapo'd pictures looked like on the next picture. This was absolutely skunked on the keg. Unpalatable

Do not recommend. The one star is for the friendly staff. The food and beer I had were gross for a total of $30. Save your time and money.

    A happy me/customer!

Quality service and food, farm to table and great homemade beer. Consistently good and on point!

This is the kind of place I want to gate keep but I guess I'll share the love. We popped in for lunch while in town for a college tour. It was exactly our kind of place. Great craft beer selection. A good cocktail selection for me (with PA spirits) and house made root beer for our non alcohol drinkers. I had the Pierogi appetizer for my meal - get it with the garlic butter (drool). Kid got the nacho burger - oh. My. God! Hubs also had a burger and said it was yummy. Definitely a great place to come sit at the bar alone or grab a table with a group.

I loved the selection of ciders and sours on tap. Might take a little searching for the sours...Wild ales, lambic, etc... but they are definitely worth the hunt. Zach and Brendon are amazing hosts. Got the lager perfect for my Mr. He never looked back...and is now on his 3rd.

I sent back my burger twice and neither time it was cooked right... the bartender didn't try and make it right and either did the manager... I was on vacation and so many people bragged about this place! I was sooo disappointed!

I've dined in with my family on one occasion, and our service was fast and attentive. The restaurant was at medium capacity during our visit. Their beer selection does not disappoint. I recommend the Special Dubbel if you like malty dark brews with a smooth finish at 7.5% ABV. From the food menu, we ordered a few selections. If you like wings, that bourbon bbq sauce is slappin! Very much enjoyed my Pittsburger. I could only eat half because it's massive. I remember being impressed that they achieved crispy bacon without making it look burnt. The hand-cut fries are better than the battered fries. I see why people stay for the beer and food, but don't sleep on the dessert. We tried both the warm toffee bun and the lemon crème layer cake with whipped cream, which rounded out what was already a high experience with Bullfrog Brewery. Do I recommend this business? I most certainly do! Who doesn't like elevated bar food?!

Good ale & tripel! The bleu burger and chip were on point. Atmosphere was chill. I'll def be back here.

Was back home for the weekend and after spending time with family we were starving. Decided to try an old favorite and it did mot disappoint. We were seated immediately, it was not very busy which is surprising because the food is good. We got the pretzel logs with honey mustard and beer cheese. The pretzel was so warm, fluffy and crunchy. Absolutely lived the sweetness of the honey mustard. As my main I did get their vegetable chili mac n cheese, the menu did say that it was spicy. But honestly it wasn't. Still super good though. Loved their cheese sauce. Made sure to eat every single last drop. For dessert we got s'mores lava, was absolutely not planning on eating it but super glad I did. So warm and moist.

This is a solid good food, good service restaurant in Williamsport. Lots of options- something for everyone. Vegan, vegetarian, meat lovers alike. I like the crab dip for dinner, the pretzel is great for a snack, the breakfast options that we've tried have all been great too. Sometimes on a Friday they have bands- It gets very loud since the restaurant is smallish.

We had arrange for a graduation dinner here at 8:30 pm for 8 people. Shortly before we headed to the restaurant they called to make sure we were still coming we I thought was odd. This is where they could have righted a wrong by telling us they were very low on entrees and give us the option to decide to go somewhere else. 4 of the 6 dinner entrees weren't available, mashed potatoes were out. Most of the appetizers were also out. We ended up getting the last 4 small empanadas, 2 pretzels and 2 salads then decided to leave it was 9:30 pm by this time. We ended up at McDonalds yay. They did tried to work with us but it wasn't going to work for us. The bartender was snooty I won't get into that. The food is pricey and what we ate wasn't spectacular. They may have been off that night but again they could have gave us a heads up when they check in with us a hour before we arrived. Graduations dinner ruined.

It was a boiled chicken leg and thigh with white rice, a few olives, and some water cress - flavorless and not very good at all. No potatoes, zero flavor, and definitely not worth the price. No where close to the description on the menu. My son wanted the beef short ribs but they were sold out. He settled for the smoked duck wrap and fries - bang average. My wife got the catfish - she liked it. You want to support local establishments but this was a miss. If you're offering a limited menu then have what's on the menu. Three entrees, two appetizers, two beers, a glass of wine and a soda for $230. Disappointing!

TERRIBLE place to see rock shows. I'm not 95yo I want to stand, clap, cheer...not sit silently during a show like I'm catatonic. The Opera house in Wilkes Barre was absolutely beautiful with friendly staff and reasonable prices. It sucked that everyone HAD to sit the whole time. Not a very good rock vibe at all just sitting watching. Every time anyone stood up to get a drink or go to the bathroom it ruined your view because we were made to sit. Devour the day was great. Sleep Theory was absolutely AMAZING! They were the real stars of the show. The crowd went absolutely amazing for them! The sound and vocals were just as good as on the radio and YouTube. Daughtry was just okay. So many people got up and left when Sleep Theory went off stage. More people got up and left waiting for Daughtry to set up and take stage. After the 2nd Daughtry song even more people left obstructing our view of the stage even more because we were seated like we were watching a band in a retirement home. We left after 4 songs because our view was so obstructed by so many other people leaving. We gave up. I'd go back yo watch an opera or a play, but NEVER for a rock show again.

The beer is excellent and fresh since you are enjoying it right at the source. New Trail ships around the region and beyond and has grown into a reasonably good sized business. As such, the overall tasting room experience feels a little...corporate...with plenty of merch on offer in addition to the beer. As others have noted, the exterior spaces are functional but basically tables in a gravel area off a parking lot. I get it--there's not much you can do with that location.
