The Sticky Elbow had a big menu and even bigger portion sizes. My bartender and server was great. She gave generous pours, solid recommendations, and constant smiles. Despite being one of the few patrons in the restaurant, my order took quite some time to come out. Drinks were made instantly, but I finished two before my entree arrived. The bathroom was strangely the only sticky element of the establishment. *Ribeye: huge 18 ounce ribeye served with sweet potato fries and creamed corn. Although I asked for medium rare, the edges leaned closer to medium well. That said, the steak was thoroughly seasoned and tender throughout. The sweet potato fries were heavily seasoned with sea salt, though the potatoes themselves were sweet enough to balance it out. The creamed corn was the most pungent and watery component. I wished the sauce had been thickened more, as it pooled underneath the steak and softened the bottom crust. Overall, this dish was hefty and a steal for the price. *Frost Bite: one of the seasonal mixed drinks. The Malibu and pineapple juice gave this a pina colada style profile. The blue curacao added a striking snowy appearance, though the drink itself leaned quite sweet. *Jingle Juice: another seasonal option, though this one packed a stronger alcohol punch. The tequila was more prominent, while the peach schnapps helped soften the edge. However, the cranberry and orange juices were barely noticeable, so it did not quite deliver the spiked fruit punch profile I was expecting. I loved the generous portions and strong flavors. It's simply not what it used to be. The menu used to have some really interesting options that made it stand apart from other restaurants (rabbit, ostrich, etc.). And it was cooked and plated well. And the staff was friendly. The past few times we've gone it was because we were tired of the other few choices in Williamsport on a Sunday night so said "eh, let's try this again." The result each time was that we were reminded of why it's no longer a destination. The service we've had lately, the server couldn't bother to stay at the table long enough to hear the answer to the question they just asked. I'm really not generally hard on server...almost never. And i haven't complained, but this is a problem at Sticky Elbow. I gave this a second star for history, but right now it's a hard pass. read more

My daughter and I were traveling through town and decided to stop and have dinner at the sticky elbow. Reviews were good! Our server was amazing, except the nachos with bbq sauce and some burnt chips, not a fan, great French onion soup and our entrees which were a filet and a stuffed ravioli were very tasty. The two things I would would give thumbs down is I asked for bread to go with my pasta, she said they do not have any bread. I said I see you make sandwiches can I have a slice of bread? I was charged $2. That is a little crazy. I was sitting in a back booth near the men's bathroom. Every time the door open I could see the urinals and the men standing in front of them. Not something I want to look at while eating dinner. i didn't think I would be getting dinner and a show with my $2 slice of white bread. A bit disappointed. read more

It was our first time at the Sticky Elbow which was highly recommended. The menu is eclectic with bison, elk, seafood, steaks, etc. a variety of sandwiches, appetizers, and entrees. We had the steak egg rolls and bbq meatballs over smoked Gouda grits. The bbq sauce was nice and the Gouda grits were outstanding. The meatballs had good flavor but could have been more tender. The steak egg rolls were just ok. The chili Mac was overpowering the chopped ribeye and the bernaise sauce was not the best pairing. Our entrees were the ribeye steak with creamed corn and sweet potato fries and crabcakes with dill potato salad and Gorgonzola sauce. The ribeye was cooked PERFECTLY and the garlic butter was a great touch. The creamed corn was really good and I'd love to see it made with fresh corn in the summer. The crabcakes had good flavor but a few too many vegetables mixed it for me. The potato salad was good and the Gorgonzola sauce complimented the crabcakes nicely. Finally, we had turtle cheesecake for dessert. It was really good with fresh whipped cream. Our waitress was really nice and the restaurant was nicely decorated with a relaxed atmosphere. The chef has an ambitious menu and has a really good touch but some of the items could be updated (steak egg roles, crabcakes). Give the Sticky Elbow a try and share your own thoughts. read more

Wow what a gem!!! You have to try this place. What a menu!!! Sushi to Cajun and everything in between. It was almost to many choices. I cheated and asked the bartender for a suggestion. Seafood pasta it was. I was not disappointed I added red pepper flakes to kick it up a notch. The only disappointment was that I did not find this on yelp sooner. Would love to try another meal here. We ordered the Bacon bacon Burger, The sticky burger, and an order of onion rings. The sticky burger that came with the french fries with gravy would have been better if there wasn't a heavy hand with the kosher salt sprinkled over them. I found the salt to overwhelm the taste of the burger and made the fries with gravy almost inedible. I did not enjoy the gravy, It had a strong onion and pepper flavor. We were seated by the bar for our date night but since there weren't that many people sitting around the bar, we were fine with that. Our seasonal cocktails were good but maybe a little light on the alcohol. We mentioned that to our fabulous server and I noticed the second cocktail was better. Their house salad is a wonderful start to any meal. The sushi is so flavorful and fresh, definitely a must have! My husband and I shared one of their delicious seasonal dishes and we could've finished it all but we wanted to save room for dessert- fried coffee cake with ice cream WOW!!! Great surprise! Menu is extensive and very interesting. No one item is a "run of the mill" product. This chef is working for you to like the food! When you write a great menu you better make a good product. And it is very good. Well done chef! So is the service. We never once had to ask for refills on our drinks, because we were testing multiple entrees she never even blinked when we needed double setups of silverware. What a great finish too with dessert! We were traveling from Ny state to Wilmington NC. Hungry and didn't want the usual fast food type of food. So while on Rt 15, I searched and found this great restaurant in Williamsport PA. I called ahead reserved a table for 2 and ordered our appetizers and mains saying according to GPS we would be there in 15 minutes. We were greeted and shown to our table as soon as we arrived. The appetizers immediately were placed on the table. Food was delicious, we got the house salad and the pierogie wontons filled with Gouda cheese in a Asiago cream sauce. Just delish. So loud you couldn't have a conversation with the person right next to you. I will probably have a migraine long before we leave. My daughter took me to The Sticky Elbow today, after months of talking it up, and I am a happy mama! Ambiance is small but cool, our server was awesome, and the food... Oh my goodness! We shared Lil Piggy Eggrolls to start - 4 out of 5. My daughter ordered the Lobster Tsunami sushi roll and said it was great, especially subbed with the Dorito Aioli. I got the Sweet Chili Chicken with bacon fried rice and broccoli. The sauce makes it amazing, and bacon should be in fried rice for the rest of my life. Oh, and the portion was HUGE! 5 STARS!!! UGH DON'T EAT HERE....... My husband found them online & said let's try something different than Taco Bell or Red Robin's I sail ok dear bc the menu was vast it has everything on it..... Way to much now that I think about it. My husband had the Duck "I've made duck & he loved it". But not this it was tuff & rubbery Rubber Ducky your not the one---LOL He also had the lil piggie egg rolls they were ok but the dipping sauce was little bbq sauce & lot's of Mayo not good either I had the Seafood Dip to spicy & they gave you flatbread that was chewy???? Not impressed then I had the Seafood Risotto OMG it sucked my Dog Shiva~Blu wouldn't eat it & She'll eat on a stick really she's eaten a screen a tarp & the plastic roll to her bags but no Scallops for her. This was the selection for a team dinner and I must say...I was pretty excited when I started looking at the menu. Lots of interesting items caught my attention. So many that it was hard to make a final decision. That should have been a red flag. This menu had sushi, pasta, salads, burgers, tacos and more...just waaaay too much. I finally settled on the crab cakes. Mistake. I basically had a cornbread type thing with a hint of crab. I will say this...the portions are huge. Everyone at our table was wowed by how large the plates were. No one was wowed by the food on said plates though. Our sever was nice. The space was pretty cool. The menu and execution was a fail. The bartender was super friendly and took my drink order for a hakuna moscato which was strawberry infused vodka, lemonade, moscato and whipped cream. Visited this place for dinner with a friend for the first time the other night. I got the ahi tuna in a pita and it was delicious! They asked how I wanted my tuna cooked - med rare, and it was beautifully cooked. The flavors were perfect together. The only thing I didn't care for was the wax paper/tinfoil wrap. I get why it was done but it was annoying to peel back as the foil kept ripping. My friend got a venison burger and the spicy duck wonton soup. I tried her soup and it was good and spicy and very flavorful. Her burger looked amazing too. She said it was the best burger she's had in a long while. I recommend trying this place out! read more

My parents and I came here late on a Thursday. We were one of the last tables to sit and eat. Drinks came promptly, and food didn't take too long either. My dad ordered a tuna special, and didn't know, based on the description, that it was raw tuna. Luckily, my son likes sushi, so it works out. He ended up helping my mom with her Kobe steak, and she switched her sides. Sweet potato fries were good, creamed spinach was good, but the Kobe steak was not fork-tender, and slightly salty. My duck breast was more medium than medium rare, but the flavor was good. The white chocolate risotto was VERY strong with the white chocolate flavor, almost too much. We still brought the leftovers home, though. The beer options were very good, wines okay. Tap water didn't have too much of a city water taste (I grew up on well water). The napkins are AMAZING!! Paper, but thick enough to nearly be considered a towel. Not easily tearable. I wish we could take some home! Ambiance was nice. The interior of the restaurant is fresh and clean, but the welcome mat had a curling corner which is a trip hazard. Overall, a decent restaurant for an evening out. read more
