Terrible service. 5 bartenders with an almost full bar and three tables. I waited 35 minutes with no one stopping by the table and 20 minutes with an empty glass. This place rocks for lunch!!! Wow service was killer good and the lunch served was awesome. Everyone at my table ordered something different and made a substitution or addition to their meal. It all came out perfect and Everyone swore theirs was the most delicious item on the table. I grabbed the French dip with blue cheese crumbles instead of provolone. House made chips were perfect!! Not a single one with any "raw" or chewy spots and super thin. We got seated and ordered right before the big lunch crowd but the service continued to be great. Think his name was Zane. THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: I am currently on a "French fry tour of the world" that means that on my many travels, I try as many French fries as I can to find the best ones. In my 15 months of traveling and French fry eating, I have yet to find a better fry than Kimballs Pub. THESE FRIES ARE THE BEST. don't be deceived by their "homemade chips" which are also very good. The fries are where it is at! Fresh cut, fresh fries, they almost always come out still sizzling in oil. Seriously they're so good. Especially if you get them with that homemade spicy ranch. Oh my god. I want some right now. Also, don't sleep on that house made Tempeh or the tofu wings (which are also the best in town). Take the time to get off 4th street and make the very short drive to Kimball's. Final note- the beer list is always on point, too. read more

I have not written a review in six months... and here I am. The reason? Kimball's Pub. Been on the road to Toronto and just decided to swing by and I have to say, such a perfect pit stop. The atmosphere is nice and spacious and it really is not that crowded for how amazing it is. Every one I was with loved their food and I have to say, my House Wings were some of the best I have had (and I get wings almost every single place I go). It was my first time coming here and I was not happy with the service. Every server here was rude to me and wouldn't make conversation when I tried to make small talk. Even though it was not busy and half the tables were empty. The staff is nice to the older folks here but seems to dismiss me and my friend because we are in our 20's. Specifically the server who was wearing a shirt for Dominics Dynamite Dogs was extremely rude. The only kind staff member was the man who's balding and has a long, fluffy, beard; and the younger female who had glasses. read more

My family of 4 vegetarians and a vegan ordered take out from Kimball's. There were a variety of options, and we were pleased with how everything tasted. I personally ordered the tofu wings with mild sauce as my meal. It was a great portion size and just the right texture. I have been in here numerous times to eat. I've never had a problem. I came here with my boyfriend and his friend and they carded me and said that anyone under 21 can't eat here and wanted to kick me out. My boyfriend did not want to leave so the manager had to get a guardian to watch me. This was the most embarrassing time i've ever had in an establishment before. If you are not able to be under 21 to eat then that should be stated outside the door before you enter. read more

The Hot Wings are great! Nice and crispy, standard sized drums and flats. I prefer the drums cause they have the extra crispy ends. The hot sauce is perfect, tangy and spicy enough for most people. We ate here because the Bullfrog had closed early on Sunday. We had just attended a chamber music concert at Lycoming College and were dressed accordingly. Upon entering Kimball's, we almost didn't stay as the place appeared run down and dirty and was looking a little scary. Fortunately for us we did stay and had a great meal! The selection of craft beer was outstanding and all five of us had delicious food. Our waitress was so nice and catered to our daughter's dietary restrictions. Wow, you never know! read more

To all my fellow vegetarians, kimballs is absolutely excellent. Came in here as a vegetarian and a beer lover and was impressed by the options of craft beer and vegetarian dishes. Tofu with any choice of sauce was great, and the tempeh burger, WHICH by the way they quoted that is one 2 or 3 restaurants in the US that makes their own tempeh, was one of the top vegetarian burgers I've had. Beer was on point and will be going back to try the rest of the menu. Definitely give this one a try. read more

Stopped by for lunch while traveling from NY to NC. My wife had the Tempeh Burger and loved it. She added the 3 pepper cheese and said it had just the right amount of heat. I had the corned beef Reuben (they also have a tempeh version). The corned beef is spiced in-house. Fantastic Reuben; best I've had in quite a while. House made chips and fries were also top notch. We didn't have any beer because it was quite early in the day, but they did have 23 on tap. In harmony with what others have said, if it were not for Yelp we would never have stopped there. We even had a hard time figuring out which was the front door. Once inside, though, it was clean. Restrooms were clean, too. It was quiet at noon on Sunday, but I imagine being right next to a college it would get pretty lively on a Friday or Saturday night. read more

Stopped by Kimballs on our way home from a few days fishing. Put in "Reuben" on Yelp and up popped this place. Not too familiar with Williamsport but it was close and we were hungry. Turned out to be the absolute best Reuben I have ever eaten. Grilled pumpernickel rye and the corned beef was shaved thin, the way I like it, and piled on. Homemade chips to top it off, just right. Stopped here to get a bite after watching Mexico cream Italy in the Little League World Series, and couldn't be happier with the experience. The restaurant was mostly empty when we came in, and the waitress/bartender brought us waters and menus right away. We ordered the BLT (for me) and the tofu wings and the tofu wrap (for my vegan friend) - they were out of tempeh but that was okay. Both came with their housemade chips and were completely delicious. The vibe was very chill and friendly, exactly what we were looking for after a day out in the hot sun.
