Everyone that works at either locations are super friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of mouldings. I found their website to be easy to navigate. I found the part numbers and simply called in my order and was texted a payment link to pay through my phone. Been replacing my old door and window interior moldings with more ornate framing. The guy that works in here guided me to the samples and display case so I could pick out the style trim I liked. This place has almost everything, trims that the big stores like Lowes and Home Depot don't seem to ever have in stock and prices seem to be much better as well. We were doing a remodel/addition to our home and needed all new base molding: 280 linear feet. I spent one hour at HD looking at all the options and pricing and left frustrated. Hubby said to go to Builders Molding Supply before I came home because our uncle had recommended them for doors. I walked inside and instantly was welcomed, was asked all the pertinent questions about my project and shown some initial options. I showed him a picture of the door casings and gave him an idea of the look we wanted. He suggested a 3.5" molding and gave me a price that made my eyes bug out in a good way! It was $2 less than the molding I was considering at HD! I asked if he had enough in stock (eighteen pieces of 16' lengths) and he assured he did. I paid for it and sent hubby to pick up within 30 minutes. The whole process from when I walked in to when I walked out took maybe 15 minutes. All the guys were friendly and professional. I noticed they had doors, drawer pulls and other details for the home. I won't ever try HD or the competition first ever again! read more

I think this business really cares about their customer. I work from 8 to 5 M-F so I would never be able to go into their store but I needed baseboard. I have bought crown moulding from this store before and they were the best price and quality I could find. So I called the store and had to describe the baseboards I was looking for. The person on the other end gave me his personal cell phone number so I could send him a picture of the baseboard I was trying to match. This saved me so much time and research and I know he did not have to do it. I was able to order and pay over the phone and had someone pick them up for me. I wish they would be open at least a few hours either Sat or Sun but they make it work. read more

Just had my first encounter with BMS...and it was great. Great service, great selection, and the price was roughly 1/2 what I would pay at Home Cheapo. You have to by it in full lengths, but I'm doing the entire house. Besides, you need a 17' stick for door casing either way. I popped in BMS today with little to no knowledge of the terminology that goes with my needs for trim to finish a very small hard wood flooring project I was a first timmer installing on in my home. They were super helpful and patient in helping figure out what exactly what I was after. When you don't really know what you are doing and lack the confidence abotu what you need, its nice to have patient folks on the other end to help you regardless of yoru job size. Nice display cases with a myriad of samples in all woods, I at least could think of. All of what I needed was on site and cut to fit in my car. My sale was relatively small, less that 25 bucks total, but the staff made me feel at home and helped me get it all squared. read more

They have built beautiful mantels for me, I have gotten interior doors from them, as well as base and crown.
