Two Meatballs with Angel Hair $20, a bit pricey
    Nikky B.

Solid classic spaghetti meatballs you can always count on though a bit pricey $20. You can do half order (1 meat ball) or full order (2 meat ball). The meatballs were tender and moist and got the same temperature as the spaghetti would it much easier said than done. I have been disappointed many times before at 4-5 stars Italian restaurant, yet their meatballs were colder than spaghetti and that just so annoying. I came in this location many time during working lunch over this past year. Throughout these visits, they only had one server in each section so if you have less than 45 minutes or so during 12-1pm, I would say proceed with caution. Most people I saw dinning in looked retired and was not in the hurry at all. Daily soups are almost always spot on. The tomato bisque $5, was a tad on the runny side but good taste wise. They gave you ample of focaccia bread. I wish they put balsamic vinegar in the garlic olive oil dip. The steak pasta cooked just right a few times I ordered. I didn't not care much for the cheese or seasonal squash ravioli. I think there were too much cheese which was overpowered other ingredients came with it. Angel hair with white sauce were also good. The tiramisu and cannoli are okay, very standard for flavor. I liked the strawberry mule with the paprika kick to it. Casual setting and consistent quality of food. Definitely recommend it for your standard Italian fix.

My wife and I have been coming to Bugatti's periodically for several years now and honestly we've always had a great meal. We do try to come for happy hour as they have a great happy hour menu, a little cheaper wine, and we enjoy sitting in the bar. Whether you're getting their Fresh Bread and Oil which is made with their house made focaccia, their happy hour pizza, Bolognese w/ an extra meatball, or some pasta off their regular menu. You won't be disappointed. We recently tried the the Gamberetti for the first time, which is made with an angel hair pasta, white wine sauce, prawns, pine nuts, scallions, and chili flakes is absolutely amazing! I'll have to explore more of their pastas. The service here has always been great, particularly from the bar and a nice relaxing calming atmosphere makes this a great place. Not sure why this place is only rated a 3 and a half stars as we've always had great food and service. Give Bugatti's a try.

We went here Friday night at 6:30pm. We were seated right away. Ordered a strawberry basil lemonade. I enjoyed the Bleu's Burger. Medium Rare and it was perfect!!! Delicious. Bugatti has a good comfortable atmosphere. The server came by multiple times to check on our food. It was so nice to visit Bugatti again. The last time I was here was 5-6 years ago.

I've not heard of this chain before. Private parking lot and outdoor seating. our server was a little abrasive, but attentive, so not a huge issue. I liked the half chicken parmesean sandwich, I did not like the drinks I got, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. they both tasted very heavy with flavored syrup and were not balanced. Might revisit, but does not fit my "must try" category

For years, Bugatti's has been one of our favorite go-to places. The food and the service has been good in the past. Something has recently changed. The last 2 times we went, the pasta has been overcooked and mushy, not al dente. Last night I ordered soup & salad. The soup was good, but I had to pick out quite a bit of yellowed or slimy spinach from my salad. My husband ordered the Garambini, which is usually a good choice. When it came, the pasta was overcooked & completely dry, missing the sauce. This was Sunday evening, and the restaurant was about 1/3 of capacity, with most people leaving, not terribly busy for Bugatti's. Our waitress seated us at a dirty table and we had to ask for it to be wiped. She neglected to give us table service, and we had to ask a busboy for that when our food was delivered (by someone else). She did not check on us & we had to ask someone else to find her to report the problem with the dish. When she arrived, she bent over and stuck her nose over his food and declared she could smell white wine and pointed to a solitary red pepper flake! Eventually she agreed to bring some sauce. We did not see her again for some time & when she arrived with a cup of sauce, he told her the pasta had gone cold. She replied "the sauce is warm". She then offered to stick it in the microwave for him (which would have turned the shrimp to rubber balls). After both recent visits to this establishment have been disappointing, we may not return for a while. Attached is the photo of all the yellowed or slimy spinach leaves that I removed from my salad. I should have photographed the garambini.

I didn't expect to be blown away, but I was! REALLY beautiful meal, which surprised me because I thought this establishment was a chain and chain restaurants typically don't impress me much. The lasagna her is FANTASTIC! I added a shrimp skewer to my meal, which was perfectly grilled & buttery. My husband got the seafood cioppino and was also very pleased. The broth was rich and delicious, packed full of fresh goodies from the sea. He left not a drop. I love their warm crusty table bread with oil served when you are seated. So good. Service was kind and attentive without being intrusive. We'll 110% be back next time we're in OC. Bravo!

I ordered a couple cocktails here and both were top notched. The bartender was busy but was still friendly. The vibe here is trendy and definitely a great place to bring a date. The night I came there was a live singer performing.

We were visiting family in the area and had two people in our group local to the area who had been there several times in the past. We first went and checked in and were told there was a 10-15 minute wait. The hostess was very kind, took our number and sent us to the upstairs bar to wait for a table. We were greeted by a friendly bartender who took our drink orders (cocktails and wine) and we enjoyed our beverages while chatting by the bar. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with large velvet green booths, all new, updated and well done. The drinks were all great. The downstairs hostess came upstairs to let us know our table was ready, and we paid and went downstairs. So far, we were all really happy with our experience. The prices of the drinks were all around $15-20+ but we were all okay with it given the good service (thus far), high end atmosphere, etc. There were people in there but it was a pretty mellow Saturday evening. We were given a nice large area to sit and thanked the hostess. The waitress came and was clearly a little overwhelmed but took our drink orders. I mentioned a drink my husband had upstairs and asked if I could have it, but was told they had a different menu down here and I needed to order from that menu. I looked it over while the others ordered their drinks, and when she came back to me, I asked if I could go upstairs to order the drink I wanted, and bring it down. She said sure. I put in an order for a couple food items with her, and she left. My brother in law kindly offered to go upstairs and order the drink and was gone for quite a long time. We learned that when he was upstairs, he went to the bar and mentioned I wanted a drink from his bar. The bartender's mood shifted and he said he had 10 drinks ahead of my BIL, and asked him to go downstairs to order. My BIL informed him he was told the downstairs bar didn't have the ingredients, and was sent up here. The bartender was annoyed and asked my BIL to go downstairs for 10 minutes and come back again to order. My BIL replied that he was happy to wait at the bar instead and took a seat. After a long while, the bartender curtly said that my BIL would have to pay for the drink up here, which my BIL of course agreed to. My BIL said it was very uncomfortable and the bartender was being rude (a couple sitting at the bar also mentioned this). We are guessing he was overwhelmed and didn't handle it well. He brought the drink downstairs, no problem. We were all sitting for a while and noticed that my BIL never received the beer he ordered from the waitress downstairs. And after about 45 minutes I asked about the food I had ordered (she hadn't checked in with us at all during that time, and I should mention it was not busy at all - several tables open). The waitress said she forgot to put it in. That was it. No offer to quickly put it in, no offer to comp a drink, no real apology. We asked for the bill and split it between two cards. When we got the receipts and cards back, my husband found they had given both him and his brother (the other payer) copies of my husband's receipt-so he assumed he was double charged. He went to the front to bring this to their attention and explained how he was upset by the poor service throughout the evening. He received a quick response that they had printed the receipt twice (didn't charge twice) and were short staffed that evening. We are all understanding people and my sister in law ran restaurants for years, we all had food service jobs and are sympathetic but really just disappointed in this place. I'm writing this review because the employees there just didn't seem to care about the issues we raised. They had an acoustic artist playing that evening who was phenomenal. If you go there on a different day with different staff, I'm sure you'd have a great time. But for the price and ambiance, we really expected better service.
