They were great in the beginning but then ignored my requests for follow-up treatments. I'm not sure why or if it was an error, but I doubt that you can ignore several requests in error. Eric came out to do an estimate on controlling the rats in our attic and around our home. He was very professional, and communicated very well. He spent close to an hour here, looking outside and on the roof and in the attic and was unable to find any obvious entry points or signs of infestation in the attic. Unlike other rodent control companies, he did not try to sell us his services because he didn't feel we needed them. He felt that the biggest problem was a vacant house next door, and until that is gone, all we can do is install bait stations and trim our trees. We appreciated that honesty very much! If I can give a no star, I would for their customer service team. I was a potential new customer, but evidently, they have enough business, and no one has bothered to respond with a quote. I wrote to them numerous times trying to get someone to respond with providing quote, or service schedule to no avail. Its difficult to write up a review about their actual service since I wasn't even able to get service for the mosquito issues I have. From looking at the other reviews, they may have good service to existing customers, but obviously they don't want to expand their business. If you're a new/potential customer, try some other company because this one doesn't care much. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND: I was very impressed with BUGHEAD pest control services. Eric and his assistant were very through in inspecting my attic, roof, and surrounding areas of my property. I was very please to learn that nothing was found and that what I heard was likely external (something on my roof). We haven't had any problems since. I made an appointment over the phone and asked about the Yelp coupon before purchasing the voucher. I had to take off work to get home to meet the company, however no one showed up. I called and was told somehow I didn't get added to the schedule and I would have to be the one to get my money back from Yelp. At this time, I have asked the company to contact Yelp and spend their time fixing this. I can not comment on their actual service because I will not be using them. Had them out for Sugar Ant treament ($110 dollars) in mid January. 50 days later the Sugar Ants return and their warranty is only 30 days. Best they would do is offer me a discounted treatment. You would think their treatment would solve the problem the first time. read more

After a couple years of excellent service, this company has now failed on multiple levels. We never know when our quarterly service will take place until the day before, and usually we cannot be home the next day which ensures the inside never gets treated. When we need an extra treatment, say for ants, appointments have been missed with no word or notice. This past Saturday (5/12/18) someone was supposed to come between 8-10am. I stayed at home when I had other things to do, called 3-4 times, no one ever answered, no one ever came. They called Monday morning to say the tech had a flat...why couldn't the tech call his appointments and let them know? Also, her response was, "I don't work Saturdays". She asked if I wanted to reschedule...I said actually can you just cancel my service? She said "Yes, M'am, have a nice day." Not even try to keep me as a customer. So frustrated and irritated. I found Bughead through Yelp and bought a 30 for 50 voucher. We just moved into an older house that had a bit of a roach problem. The whole house was sprayed inside and out. These guys are great! I'm a new homeowner and when I had my inspection done the company said that there were no traces of wood destroying insects....come to find out I actually had carenter ants. Being new to TX wasn't sure what to do so I searched on yelp. The team was super helpful and very knowledgeable. They came to my house 3 times to help clear out the ants. Definitely went above and beyond! Today I no longer see traces of the Ants and it has been a year. I was looking for a pest control service to fix the ant problem I have in my home and after trying out other services (which didn't work out so well) I decided to use these guys after all the glowing reviews. I'm so glad I went with them!!! Not only did they fix the ant problem I had at home, but they went FAR AND BEYOND what was expected. There was a communication issue at first with voicemails and emails being mixed up, but it was all taken care of immediately. But this rating is not for how well the company communicates. The rating is on the service itself - and these guys went far and beyond to fix the ant problem we had. If we had 100 ants at the start, I want to say that we had 20 ants after the first service. Then waiting at least 2 weeks for the spray to work, we had about 10 ants left. That's when I called back to get a second spraying and after the second spray, my ant problem was gone. While I don't usually leave Yelp reviews, I felt I had to leave one for this company, which goes above and beyond itself to take care of the customer and get the job done right! Horrible service! I chose them because their previous reviews seemed good, The owner came out and could not spray for pest because his equipment was frozen. He told me he would schedule someone to come out in 3 days. When I called to confirm the office manager Anna said we did not have anything scheduled. I explained the situation and asked her to have the owner Eric call me back and she said ok but did not know when he could because he was so busy. Well deserved excellent review. Called the main number, rang once, a nice lady picked up, and I explained my ant problem in my kitchen and bathroom stating there were two different size ants in each room. She assured me that they could take care of both, but requested I email a photo of the larger ones. Got a very speedy response in 5 minutes giving me info about that specific type of ant. They were able to schedule a 2hr time window when they were to show up the following day. A knowledgeable professional was at my door 15min into the 2hr window. I showed him each problem area of the house and he went right to work as I sent a few emails and made some phone calls. After about 30minutes he explained what all he accomplished inside the house and he saw me pull my wallet out, but he wasn't done. He said while walking around the house's exterior, he noticed some heavy ant activity and wanted to spray to be sure. Wow, I was impressed, he didn't just take the money and run, especially considering the TX summer heat. Very thorough job by the folks at BugHead and a well deserved solid 5/5 experience. read more
