It was a toss up between this and Wild Wing Cafe and after looking at the reviews afterward it's clear we made the wrong choice. My fried chicken sandwich was pretty basic, the only compliment I can pay it is that their hot sauce is actually pretty hot. The curly fries were an odd consistency and pretty uninspiring. My wife got a chicken fajita quesadilla and after opening it up to pick out the onions (that she said not to include) decided to play 'find the chicken' instead. First time trying this place and have to say it's been the worse place I've been to in a while. Not many options to choose from and table weren't clean. Our waitress was rude, so impatient, didn't even wear a mask and hands weren't washed or sanitized coming in and out of the kitchen and table to table with other customers. Food came out cold and steak was cold and raw. What I didn't understand was, there was only 2 other tables and we were there first just to receive cold food. Went there tonight with my husband. Our server was Michael...Mr. Buff himself. I'm sorry, he may have muscles, but he has as much personality as a pencil. We placed our order, salads, and he did check on us and refill our drinks...BUT, not in a friendly manner. Recently returned here after it having been remodeled. The upstairs bar is great (limited menu, lounge-ey balcony) so we ate some seriously delicious wings and fried green beans, then retreated to the downstairs bar for a change of scenery. I don't know if it's b/c the downstairs bar offers the full menu or the time of day that we went, but there was way more activity, chatter, and energy in the lower bar, so I would've preferred to have been there the entire time. Super nice staff; everybody that I interacted with was friendly. It's a shame that they're not open past 11; I figure the upstairs bar being 21+ could be a fun place to party in. read more

Tried this place after years of saying I needed to try it because it's close by and seems packed almost every night. This Buffalo's Cafe was recently re-built which I'd assume was much needed due to how popular it seems to be. The new interior is a rustic, western style with metal, leather and wood accents. There's diverse seating options (bar seating, tables & booths, patio, balcony and upstairs areas. I was surprised by the prices here. I expected the place to be somewhat overpriced because "they can." But a lot of the entrees were in the $9-12 range. I ordered a blue alcoholic drink (my apologies, I forgot the name) - but it was big, blue and $14.99 which did come as a surprise. Thank goodness it was strong and tasted great! For my entree I got Richard's Tacos with steak and it was ok - not great or amazing, but not bad. The steak seemed like a cheaper cut of beef and the redeeming factor was that the "tacos" were covered in jalapeño queso which has the unique power of making almost anything taste better. I overall have a mixed review of this restaurant. I was not amazed but not disappointed necessarily either. read more

Maddie was super sweet and patient on the phone when I called to order food to go. The traditional bone-in wings are usually good properly, (the meat pulls off the bone easily), but the wing sauce is not consistently good. Years ago, (before they expanded), that was why I preferred them over Wild Wings. Now, sometimes, the wing sauce is real tasty and, other times, the wing sauce is tasteless. This is only the second time I have ever posted a review. This was the first and sorry to say the last time we will order from Buffalo's Café. I guess I will start with the good things, .... .... Hmm not a very long list. I will just say this. The 4 dinners' with 2 starters and 3 deserts were over $180.00 for a take out order and just to make sure they took care of us (or so I thought) I pre-paid a $40 tip. So for a $200+ meal only the chicken nuggets were even eatable. I would have been better off ordering chicken nuggets from McDonald's as far as taste it would have ended up a tie and only cost .99. Worst food ever!!! We put almost all of the food in the trash it was so bad. From the rubber chicken to the chicken wings that were all skin and no meat to the "boneless wings" that were nothing more than Chicken breast nuggets... God! I want my $200 back Sorry to say I had to give 1 Star, because there is nothing lower. read more

I admit that I didn't have very high hopes from the Yelp reviews as well as what my sister had told me, but I was pleasantly surprised with how everything went! Our waitress was friendly, our drinks strong (mine a little too strong, HA!), and our food tasted good and came out quickly. I got the Asian salad and added salmon, which was good but quite heavily dressed, and my salmon was a bit on the overcooked side. That's okay though, because the star of the entire meal was my friend's Bavarian Pretzel, which was RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS and probably the best soft pretzel I have ever, ever had. It was huge, came with a cheese dipping sauce, was crisp on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. Honestly, it was more like a pretzel donut, which as you can imagine made it pretty much the best thing EVER. 10/10 would return for that pretzel alone. read more

I've been here twice now on weekday evenings and have been able to walk in and sit down immediately. Once I sat in the downstairs bar area and once in the upstairs outdoor patio- both seat yourself. The service in both areas was great and attentive. I prefer the upstairs patio because it has these super comfortable couches and was a great place to lounge with food, drinks and friends! I ordered the fish tacos both times I was there- fried the first time (delicious) and blackened the second time (good but verrrrry salty). Their version of bang bang shrimp is also super delicious- and a bit spicy which was a nice surprise! Their Bavarian pretzel with cheese dip is an enormous shareable pretzel that is really light and fluffy surprisingly enough. Both times I got watermelon martinis- so very yummy!! 1st timer here. I watched this place getting remodeled for a good bit and just had to ck it out. If I could get that buffalo statue I'd already have it. Really nice job on the remod - now for the food... We apped some wings w/a few samples of various sauces- death valley, asian sesame, sweet bourbon and garlic parm. You guessed it - the death valley is damn hot. I liked both the asian, and sweet bourbon. The garlic parm not so much. The Mexicali burger was just great - perfect mid-rare. Washed it down w/another tasty draft of course. Wife had the Mushroom Swiss burger - also mid rare- perfection once again. Very informative waitress- helped me decide on the wing sce and rec the Mexicali - good choice. Not noisy, comfortable and good friendly people here. I hope to be in that area again soon w/the granddaughter. She will like it too I'm sure. I know she'll love that Buffalo statue. Couple of tasty burgers + Couple of tasty beers. We arrived at 7:52 When we arrived we asked to sit upstairs and hostess said first come first serve. That was a lie. We had no choice but to sit at a table for 6. There was 2 of us. Another couple came in and we gladly told them they could sit with us. We finally had a server take our drink order at 8:12 After about 10 min they brought 2 small tables out and ask us 4 to move so that a "reserved" party of 9 could sit there. After about 25 min we finally got our food order taken. The couple that came in 10 minutes after us was waited on almost immediately and they received their food 10 minutes before us. This is the worst sevice I have ever recieved. We won't be back. They did offer us a free dessert or appetizer for moving but at that piont I just wanted my food order taken. 9/11/22 Sunday 3pm: get seated, 2 ppl. Given only one menu. No one came to table for few minutes, I got up asked another server for menu, gave us one covered it wet soda and god knows what else, which we wiped off. Food was TERRIBLE, service was avg, not great. Everything tasted precooked, low quality. I had burger, server didn't ask how I'd like it cooked, she selected well done for me. I sent back for medium, came back med rare in middle. Bacon was over cooked (seemed precooked also) and hard to chew; cheap buns. Sweet potato fries only thing worth while. I often order burgers while out, this one was worst I can recall having. Husband got scrawny disappointing chicken sandwich w garlic Parmesan's fries that were cold, old, and not a hint of garlic and cheep sprinkle Parm it... none of which stuck to ff bc it was put on cold, old fries! Cheese dip just ok. Out of two meals, only thing worthwhile was the beer and sweet pot fries. We watched manager do NOTHING the entire time we were there except rotate from TV to TV, watching the football game. He made eye contact a few times, then back to game. No touching tables, helping staff, certainly not watching food quality coming out of the kitchen. Saw 5 servers arguing and complaining over "who's table is that" for some new table. Manager walked by, said, "somebody just take it!" And walked. Nice management skills! As a previous server of twenty years, I can pretty well assess this manager didn't give a shit! waitress maddy was very softspoken and kind, but we had an hour wait on food. apparently, our ticket was "lost" ever though we were one of 4 tables sat. we were about to leave when she told us it would be 5 more minutes. we decided to wait, but when we finally got the food, the chicken tenders were undercooked, the wings were undercooked, and the fries were cold. we picked at our food, but left most untouched. it just wasn't edible. the manager stood around watching customers complain, but didn't do anything about it. he didnt offer to help or ask how anything was. very irritating to see. again, maddy was kind, and most of the things were out of her control, but the whole experience was horrible. read more

Right when i walked in the door i noticed the workers behind the counter holding a baby.( guess they couldn't find a babysitter) We were seated shortly, but for some reason got seated all the way in the way as if we were being exiled. I felt being that we were so hidden we were surely going to get bad service. We ordered a chicken wrap ,some chips, fries, and 8 pieces of hot ranch wings and 8 pieces of the sweet bourbon wings. The food was good and hit the spot. The service was good as well, even tho we were seated in a section that was hard to see and easy to forget, our server was checking up on us frequently. So, this was the 2nd time they brought us our loaded fries. The description says "smothered in cheese". Since they also have twisted taters and Nacholos, we though smothered meant smothered. It did not! They only put shredded cheese on it, no queso! Not smothered, very sparse on the cheese. We had ordered with no onion so they took it back and remade it. Definitely added extra cheese but still not smothered, as you can see, cheese never melted! Meanwhile, my husband ordered a cheeseburger but it wasn't cooked medium (barely past Rare) and he had to wait until it and his fries were cold before he received ketchup and mustard that he ordered with his food. My sons teriyaki wings tasted like they had no sauce on them. So, 2* is technically being nice. I'm sure corona has made things harder but this is simply a lack of care! We sat in the bar for lunch on a Saturday. Not very busy. Service was acceptable. Nothing great. I ordered the "new" rice bowl so did the guy next to me. He received his before me. He received his bowl and immediately complained that there were only 4 shrimp. I got my bowl and although there was a decent amount of grilled chicken the bowl itself was SKIMPY. There was so little lettuce it was ridiculous. Seriously lettuce is so cheap and a great way to make a dish like this look and taste more filling. This dish was not worth the price. My food was out with in 5 minutes of ordering so that threw up a flag for me. My food tasted precooked & just sat under a light to keep warm. The shredded cheese on my food was not even melted. I did not eat it all because it was bad. I could have ate McDonald's for a cheaper price & possibly a fresher meal. So inconvenient with them only bringing out a little cup of condiments, not even enough for your meal. It's such a pain to have to wait to get your waitress to bring you more condiments.
