Haven't been in awhile, last time, wings were really small. When they opened years ago, we would go almost weekly and I would put them against anyone in area. Stopped going since ownership changed a few times and they just nickel and dime every thing. I've only had the cheesesteak from here and it was to go but based on what I got, I will never return. Very little cheese and steak at the bottom of the roll and over loaded with lettuce. When I got the bag my first thought was, "why is this so light for a 12" cheesesteak?" I do thank them for steering me clear on my first visit. read more

I've come here quite a few times and I've noticed that the original wings are a little smaller than the boneless wings. That's my only complaint. I mostly come here to order the tornado potatoes because I can't find them anywhere else. If you haven't had it yet, please go and try it if you're a potato lover like me. I went there few days ago just to check out the tornado potato, I always want to eat it a lot because this is like a must eat list every time I go back to my hometown and I miss it a lot. The wrap is worth it, all the food are cheap and fill tightly, even when I eat to the bottom I can still eat the chicken. I cannot finish both of them because it has so much in one wrap! Although the chicken is a bit over cooked(too old) but in total I am happy with it. The main character tornado potato is awesome! When I saw it on yelp photo I always want to go and try and yes it is as tasty, or way tasty than I expected! It is soft inside which is the whole potato, you can taste the sweetness of the potato and also the saltiness of the seasoning( I guess is garlic and cheese I guess)they use, which work together perfectly! I LOVE this place!! First experience we were in a bit of a time crunch & needed something quick and not only was the service quick & friendly but the food was fresh & delicious! (First pic was first time w/ lamb gyro & chicken fried rice, 2nd pic was 2 orders of the chicken fried rice) and the 2nd experience that brought me to write a Yelp review was even more exceptional! Placed a pickup order through UberEats and when the "estimated" wait time rolled around the cashier brought us free drink cups for the "extended" wait (no more than 15min for food). The tornado potato is pretty good. And you may be questioning what the heck this is... I did too until the date said it's something I had to try for myself. Their wings were okay. It wasn't super wowing. Having eaten here twice already, I know their wings are decent most of the time. The staff here are super nice and friendly. They are very adorable and sweet. Does the diet of a pregnant mother have any influence on what foods the baby in her belly will prefer later in life? My wife is (for the most part) a vegetarian. However, she craved chicken during her pregnancy with our first son and he seems to have that same appetite. She became carnivorous while carrying our second son going as far as to eat double quarter pounders and loads of Krystal's burgers. The effect seems to be that he is a big meat eater (to my delight). I was like a crack fiend searching for a hit... I had to have one! I didn't really want to drive the 55 minutes to Sessions in Marietta or the 45 minutes downtown to Nick's, so I decided to give Philly Bistro (less than 10 minutes from my front door) a try. THE FOOD Why not choose Philly Bistro first? Well, I am SUPER picky when it comes to Gyros. Here they use the pre-sliced frozen gyros meat and I don't particularly like the taste as much as the hand carved shanks of lamb rotating on a spit. Today however, I took whatever I could get and to my surprise it was actually pretty good! They served it piping hot with a fresh warm pita, veggies and I assume a home made sauce with feta cheese mixed in. I thought for sure I would dislike the meat, but it had good flavor and was very, very moist. I was extremely please, but then again, I was REALLY not very fussy today. As much as I liked the gyros, I really LOVED the "Tornado Potato" that I ordered on the side instead of fries. It is a whole potato sliced in a spiral cut and fried beautifully on a long corn dog like stick. I'm not sure what they used for a seasoning, but this delicious masterpiece was coated in something I can only describe as having a sweet cheesy flavor. It was soooooo good! THE VERDICT I was so pleased that I went back for a second visit before I had a chance to post this review. Got another delicious gyros and also a kids order of their teriyaki wings. Who knew that this tiny, almost hidden place would have such amazing lemon pepper wings and tornado potatoes?! My family discovered this place over a year ago near the Wal-Mart and next to the Hardee's closest to our house in Buford. Long story short, their lemon pepper wings are delicious - and they are now THE BEST lemon pepper wings I've ever had! Although Cafe Hot Wing 2 has amazing lemon pepper wings, they're TINY. Philly Bistro's wings are not too large (Taco Mac's are HUGE) and not too small - they're the perfect size. On Christmas Eve, my sister, Yoomee H., and I ordered 10 lemon pepper wings, made it a french fries combo (1 drink and and order of french fries) for an additional $1.59, and added one tornado potato. All this cost less than $11! Just 5 wings (along with the fries and tornado potato) can fill each of us up! LOVE IT! For those of you who have never had a tornado potato - it's basically a WHOLE potato that is carved into a twisted shape and put on a stick, then fried and sprinkled with this amazing powdery seasoning that reminds me of the flavoring on sour cream and onion Pringles (odd, I know). So goood. It's a MUST TRY at this place. =) The owners are a sweet Korean couple who love to serve good food, hot and fresh! It's cool that you get to watch them prepare the food (through a glass window) if you choose to. I love it when at least one of the owners is there because both the food AND service seem to be better. Plus, the owners don't charge us for extra ranch (or bleu cheese for my siblings) while I guess their employees are supposed to. The quality of their wings (size and taste) has had its ups and downs, but the last time we were there, they were PERFECT. Hopefully they will keep this up! My husband and I went tonight to check this place out after reading about the raving reviews. I was craving wings, so we came here and decided to try the beef gyro, philly cheesesteak, and i made my sandwich into a combo (5 wings instead of fries). We went for dinner on a weeknight around 6:45 pm, and it was fairly empty. There were customers that were steady in picking up orders or people coming to place and order to carry out. We decided to eat in. The indoor dining area is very well maintained. It seems like a new building as well, but it also seems as if the people who work there take very good care of the place. We saw them checking up on dirty grounds, bathroom, etc. GOOD! Our food took several minutes, but since the food is made to order, we weren't expecting it to come out immediately anyway. Philly Cheesesteak - I had 1/2 and gave the other 1/2 to my husband. The bread was soft, the cheesesteak was hot, cheesy, and not overly greasy! You would expect some grease, right? So, there was a little but it wasn't drenched in grease. All in all, I was pretty pleased with it. I didn't feel like it was missing something, nor did I feel like it was overly salty or whatever else. Just fine. I would order this again. Beef Gyro - The pita bread was extremely soft, the meat portion was medium (not overly generous nor skimpy), lettuce was just right, and tzatziki sauce... honestly, I wasn't a fan of the tzatziki sauce. I think I'm used to the Great Wrap's tzatziki sauce; this tzatziki was the kind that looked like sour cream (thick and white). Other than the tzatziki sauce, everything else was great! Wings (5 pc. Teriyaki) - I added this to my sandwich and made it into a combo because I was craving wings, but I wanted EVERYTHING! Oh, how I wish I could've ordered more wings and other flavors, but I just couldn't this time. The wings were pretty nicely sized -- they were not extremely tiny nor large, medium-large sized, I would say. The teriyaki sauce was a little too salty, but I can get over it. Wow. Where to start about this AWESOME place. Great staff, very friendly, the food is amazing and its kinda fun that you get to watch them make it through a window, so no trickery here. They have great philly cheesesteaks, and decent wings too. The price is fair, and the portions are perfect. I recommend the standard Philly combo with fries, which by the way aren't TOO seasoned. They would have what I order down I go in so often, but I like to try new stuff all the time so there isn't really any consistency. Oh, and before I forget, get the PEACH drink!!! read more

After running errands, I ended up at the Walmart on Sardis Church. After getting my items (and then some -- which never fails) I decided to look for something to eat in the area. Decisions. I settled on the Philly Cheese steak and the tornado potato. OMG! The Philly was so hot and sooo good! The steak was seasoned very nicely. I wasn't sure if I would like the tornado potato -- especially after the guy warned me that it was sprinkled with ranch and Parmesan. I said, "eh, I'll try it." I am SO GLAD I DID! Party time in my mouth! I think I actually said "Ummm" out loud. Lol. I didn't leave anything on my "plate." I even like this place better than the other place I just reviewed and it was good too. (Not saying the name since it has nothing to do with this one. Just pleased that I had a pleasant surprise with the last few new places. Doesn't always work out like that.) LOVE!!! My family and I couldn't decide what to eat so we yelped some places by the house. Philly Bistro caught my eye and it had just what we were looking for, WINGS AND FRIES!! The server was friendly and helpful. The wait time wasn't bad. The food was AWESOME! We had the potato tornado and lemon pepper, mild wings, burger, and a chicken wrap. I was craving a chicken philly like a madman and Yelp led me to Philly Bistro. I can't say any more about the tornado potato than other reviewers already have, but suffice to say it's AMAZING. A whole potato spiral cut, lightly tempura breaded, fried, and sprinkled with some kind of seasoning that's making my mouth water just thinking about it. The chicken philly was delicious and reasonably sized for the price. I would advise eating this in-restaurant or takeout if your commute back to home/work is short - they make the food fresh, but it doesn't really "keep" well with a long car ride. This is not necessarily the best choice if you only get a short break. Because the food is fresh made to order, expect to wait. I was first in the door at opening with only one other customer there during my wait and it took nearly 20 minutes for the food to cook. I appreciate the freshness and I know fresh isn't instant, but it did seem like a bit of a wait to me. They have a sugar-free peach lemonade that's quite good as well. read more
