Who knew that this tiny, almost hidden place would have such amazing lemon pepper wings and tornado potatoes?! My family discovered this place over a year ago near the Wal-Mart and next to the Hardee's closest to our house in Buford. Long story short, their lemon pepper wings are delicious - and they are now THE BEST lemon pepper wings I've ever had! Although Cafe Hot Wing 2 has amazing lemon pepper wings, they're TINY. Philly Bistro's wings are not too large (Taco Mac's are HUGE) and not too small - they're the perfect size. On Christmas Eve, my sister, Yoomee H., and I ordered 10 lemon pepper wings, made it a french fries combo (1 drink and and order of french fries) for an additional $1.59, and added one tornado potato. All this cost less than $11! Just 5 wings (along with the fries and tornado potato) can fill each of us up! LOVE IT! For those of you who have never had a tornado potato - it's basically a WHOLE potato that is carved into a twisted shape and put on a stick, then fried and sprinkled with this amazing powdery seasoning that reminds me of the flavoring on sour cream and onion Pringles (odd, I know). So goood. It's a MUST TRY at this place. =) The owners are a sweet Korean couple who love to serve good food, hot and fresh! It's cool that you get to watch them prepare the food (through a glass window) if you choose to. I love it when at least one of the owners is there because both the food AND service seem to be better. Plus, the owners don't charge us for extra ranch (or bleu cheese for my siblings) while I guess their employees are supposed to. The quality of their wings (size and taste) has had its ups and downs, but the last time we were there, they were PERFECT. Hopefully they will keep this up!
