After we asked for silverware, she brought us plastic to-go utensils instead of regular silverware. She also forgot our drinks and only brought them after we reminded her, again serving them in to-go cups while we were dining in. To make matters worse, our to-go order was incorrect and was missing a hash brown. The most concerning issue happened when we paid. Our bill was $33.90, and we handed the server $40 cash. However, the receipt showed only $35 cash received. She returned $1.50 in change while the other $5 bill remained on the register. We had to ask for the rest of our change before she finally gave it back. Whether it was a mistake or not, it was very uncomfortable and should never happen. Throughout our visit, the server was also rude to the cook, who was actually friendly and professional. Because of the poor service from the server, we chose to give our tip directly to the cook instead. Unfortunately, I did not catch the server's name, but she had bright red hair, which should help management identify who was working that shift. The food was fine, but the service was unacceptable. I hope management addresses these issues so future customers don't have the same experience.

The staff is always super friendly and always there to fill your coffee or get you a drink. They have excellent recommendations and big surprise on your birthday. You get a free pancake. I'm not sure how they split the tips, but because I don't like the Community tip idea, I always give cash to the person who waited our table I've been back a couple of times since and I will continue to go. I love this place. By the way, I have gone during the week at around lunchtime and it's much better as it's not as crowded and you get a table right away
