Revisited today as I happened to be in the area. Was sadly disappointed. Took around 25 minutes to get our food, and once we did, the wings were delicious and the only saving grace to the meal. The lamb gyro was not anywhere as meaty and flavorful as my last visit in 2012. The front desk girl was not very amicable. She missed an item on our order, and then once our food came, went back and checked the receipt. She never charged us, which is fine, but instead of immediately getting the order in, she came back a few minutes later after taking another order to let us know that she didn't charge us for them. So after straightening all that out, the order for the missing item went in, and we were pretty much finished with what we were given. We waited another 5 minutes and said "screw it", and headed for the door. The girl saw us right as she was bringing us the missing item. What an awkward scene. She put it down and stared at us. We sat and took a few bites of a now soggy dish and left. Awkward and soggy are not lofty adjectives. Only getting two stars because wings were decent. Not returning. read more

Excellent food, but they start running you out of the restaurant before they even close. If you get there after 8:30, then they tell you that you must take it to go. The business itself is always very clean and kept well. The employees are always respectful. The food is very good. My family and I have been to Philly Bistro numerous times and it is our favorite place for wings. We love wings and they do them perfectly. We also enjoy the Philly cheese steak sandwich, the chicken gyro, the egg salad, AFR (Atlanta Fried Rice), and the tornado potatoes. The food is prepared to order so it takes a little while, but it is consistently hot and fresh. The staff is very friendly, especially owner "Jimmy" and cashier Tamia. One nice feature is the window into the kitchen where you can watch your food being prepared. Despite the price increase in 2014 on the wings, it's still a decent deal. To their credit, they posted a sign announcing the price increase a month in advance, and they listed the reasons for the increase. read more

This place is great! I live 40 minutes away and the trip is so worth every drop of fuel my truck uses (15mpg lol). I've eaten here at least 50 times and have tasted most of the menu, and still have yet to not like what I've ordered. My go-to is the spicy chicken philly, with hot wings & drink combo. The wings are sooo tasty! When I'm feeling REALLY hungry, I'll add a tornado potato (you must try it) to the mix. I've introduced a lot of friends to this place and they have all been very impressed. They then show their friends and family. I would eat here at least 2-3 times a week if I lived closer!! read more

I didn't enjoy this as much as I thought I was going to but I would return. Came here for lunch around 12:30. There were a few customers but it wasn't overly busy. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak combo. I asked for everything but tomato. It took around 10 minutes to come out sans lettuce but that's ok..no big deal. The sandwich had plenty of steak and plenty of cheese, onions and green peppers. The roll was great - slightly crispy on the outside but soooo soft on the inside. The only thing I would have liked more was if the meat had a dash of salt and pepper as it tasted a little bland. The fries were ok. Like half a fry would be great and then the other half kinda overcooked and weird. Service was great and very friendly. I'd try them again. The business was a little difficult to find. I accidentally drove passed this place and now I found it, I know how to get there in case I get a craving for another Tornado Potato!!! Since it was my first visit to the store, I asked what is this Tornado Potato all the Yelpers are raving about? The cashier described briefly what it was while directing me to the very large picture on the wall of what else- two Tornado Potatoes on sticks!!! I couldn't wait to try it!!! So finally I have the potato stick in my hand, and it was delicious!!! The Tornado Potato is a spiraled foot long skewer of a large baked/ fried potato sprinkled with seasoning salt! (Possibly ranch dressing powder). The texture is a delicious soft, chewy salty tasting delight!!! I also ordered the Chicken Gyro and it was good but the potato was spectacular!!!! For those who has not eaten a Tornado Potato yet, you are missing out!!! Place is a joke now and is extremely overpriced. The "chicken" in their chicken tenders is literally the size and thickness of your finger and is just covered in bread crumbs. Wings come out dry with barely any sauce of them. Small portion of fries and they always come out looking like their under-cooked. My mom and I have been going here for years! But since the change of management it's going down hill! Food and customer service has declined. The boy in the front doesnt understand customer service, you call in to tell him the food was burnt and he make an excuse saying " it is set on a timer" rather than saying I will make it right or sorry about that! So if you walk away from the timer and it's going off for 30 seconds or 1 minute the food isnt going to be the same. I'm done with this place I want being going back. read more

This was the first time that I've ever had lettuce and tomato on a philly cheese steak. That was my fault as the guy did ask if I wanted everything and I told him yes. At the time I was thinking that he was asking about everything that normally comes on one. Well, I did order a side of 5 extra hot wings and they weren't playing. They had the bottom of my eyes sweating but I enjoyed it. I stopped in for take out and got a number of items. Crispy chicken sand., AFR with cheese chicken, a Philly steak and some wings. Oh, and some potato tornados The wings were good. Not much sauce or it had dried up by the time we got home. The ranch and blue cheese dressings were from a jar.. not homemade The rice was tasty but not much flavor. Crispy chicken sandwich was tasteless and over done. Which sucks because it looked fantastic. Maybe some additional condiments would have helped. The philly was tasty... but again it needed some seasoning.. anything.. salt, pepper.. something. But I will say the potato tornados were really good. If everything was this good I would be giving atleast a 4, maybe 5. Kinda disappointed. Had high hopes. They are less than a mile from us. Sad Face. Maybe we caught them on a bad night. One of my favorite restaurants. Great owner, great staff, great food. They have some of the best wings around and the price for them is unbeatable. Great Buffalo and Terryiaki wings. They have other flavors but I can vouch for those two being great. They also have great fries as well as great Gyros. The A-1 burger is also great and the Chef's Salad and the Tuna Salad are really good as well. I love the atmosphere too. Overall, this is the best value anywhere around. The only thing I do not like, ironically enough, is the Philly but that is just a personal preference because they use provolone cheese rather than American. I prefer white American cheese on mine and they do not offer that. If you like provolone, I am sure you will like their Philly. read more
