Freezing cold in the restaurant with cold air blowing on tables is not a pleasant way to start. Asked to switch to another booth waitress said no I have people coming for that table, gave me and my young child a high top. Food is mediocre and overpriced but found the best deal to be the appetizer sampler 8 boneless wings, nachos, onion rings and mozzarella sticks $15 vs $9.50 for 6 boneless wings. Food came had no plates, utensils or napkins, asked for them, food runner forgot and tried to find some myself, waitstaff finally brought them. The place never warmed up.

I like the boneless wings that have meat in them but most of them are literally smaller than 1 cubic centimeter of chicken. Here are 4-5 boneless wings that are about 10% chicken.

Cold, hard, fried breading they call boneless wings.

Given the other poor reviews, I opted to order online so that I didn't have to worry if my order was mistakenly taken over the phone. And yet, there were so many problems: the large fries were missing altogether, and the boneless "wings" were cold piles of fried breading. Two of the 20 "wings" did resemble smaller versions of what most people would consider wings; the other 18 were a bit larger than the size of a quarter all hard as a rock. The traditional wings were sent out naked, without any sauce despite ordering them with spicy garlic. They did however graciously include one small side sauce. Shame on you bww.

I ordered wings and mozzarella sticks, both came in cold and with out sauce. Wings with out sauce WTH! Really no sauce. Called it in the employee really didn't give a shit. I will never or order there again. Poor service.

Half the cheese wasn't melted at all and we had asked for jalepenos on the side but they came on top. Could have used more salsa as well. Overall pretty meh. I had an Italian Beef special that was pretty meh as well. Bland even with gardienera and au jus/gravy. The bread was boring and the fries were meh as well. My husband's cheeseburger was pretty pathetic looking and there was no LTO or anything offered. He didn't even finish it and he eats EVERYTHING. The place is always busy - I suspect because of proximity to the sports center. This visit we actually made a reservation so we could get in! Our server was pleasant and helped us with highlights of the menu (this was our first visit). We started with the Pretzel bread app which arrived looking good and hot. They were tasty and a good start to the meal. I had the BBQ sandwich (see pic) which a just ok. The meat was not well "pulled" and was a bit tough to chew. Flavor was average...nothing outstanding or better than other BBQ available in the Twin Cities. My buddy went with the the Chicken Fried Chicken...a large portion covered with plenty of gravy (see photo). Our entrees arrived promptly and at a good temp. Overall, thanks primarily to good service, the visit to Clive's was fine. While we'd try differerent items from the large menu, we would likely stop in when in the area.

Upon entering, you will notice a small bar with an adequately stocked bar, featuring about 8 taps and a number of canned and bottled beers for your liking. There are plenty of high-top tables and booths to accommodate a decent crowd. MaGillycuddy's Bar is one of those places that instantly makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy and relaxed, thanks in no small part to the awesome tin ceiling-- it kind of gives this place a vintage charm you don't see often. The crowd is just what one would expect, just regular folks enjoying a libation and watching the Wild game. And they have pulltabs!! We settled in on a high-top table and ordered beers and our lunch. The Nashville Hot Shrimp is a must-try. just the right amount of heat, and packed with flavor. The Guinness cheeseburger is an open-faced burger topped with fries, Guinness cheese sauce, and, of course, bacon. That was a bit messy, and was enjoyable, but there are some other items I will want to try before going back to that entree. Between the solid food offerings, the friendly vibe, and the cool interior, MaGillycuddy's has all the makings of a local favorite. If you're anywhere near Aonka, do yourself a favor and stop in--you won't regret it.

The restaurant was understaffed - the bartender was not only running the bar but also serving the entire dining area. We sat at the bar and waited about 10 minutes before being greeted. We also overheard a nearby table voice frustration about the slow service. We're pretty patient, so it wasn't the end of the world, but it was noticeably slow. That said, once we were helped, our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Spicy Margarita and my husband went with an Old Fashioned. My margarita was on the weaker side; not bad, just forgettable. My husband enjoyed his Old Fashioned. For food, we tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and the Crab-Stuffed Portabella. The standout was definitely the Bang Bang Shrimp; we both really liked it. The lettuce wraps and stuffed mushroom were fine, just not dishes we'd return specifically for. The overall vibe was calm and low-key, and the staff was kind despite being stretched thin. I'm glad we gave it a try, but it's probably not a place we'll be rushing back to.

You sit at a table and order off your phone, and servers will bring your food and drinks out to you. Had no problem with that, it was a fairly easy process. Our servers were kind and I believe we talked to the owner for a bit who was attentive to all the tables! The food is the disappointing piece. I had the chicken rojo avocado tacos and they really lacked flavor. There was plenty of chicken in such a small tortilla, which made the taco fall apart as you ate. My sister ordered the pesto Mac and cheese with chicken and it was okay, but the chicken was not good. I didn't try the tenderloin bowl, but it seemed to have better reviews than my meal or my sisters from my family.
