I was at the train station picking up a friend and the taxi driver next to me slammed his door into mine. When I said something about it he got super aggressive and told me it was my fault and stated making crying baby faces at me. His license plate was OR 287EFF and his cab number was #1062. read more

I just watched a driver come to pick up a frail little old lady from bimart and he wouldn't even help her put her bags in the back. What kind of pos does that? read more

You drive a cab, please take a shower. We are trapped in a small space together and it's cold out. I did open the window to relieve myself of your stank. I may have been drinking but my olfactory senses were not inebriated. When it came time to pay the use of new fangled technology must have confused you. It took 15 minutes for you to charge my debit card. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry. Bummer that the machine you have to use to run credit cards is so difficult to navigate. It had a slot that you swipe the card through. tough luck man. Thank you for the delightful conversation about scary talk radio subjects; Republicans, terrorism, your hatred of our president, immigration. It really makes my drunken evening that much better to know that people like you continue to suck air. read more

filthy cabs, scary drivers, always late, they take the longest possible route to get anywhere. I would not wish this cab on anyone. I would walk 20 miles across town before I would get in this cab again. read more

This cab is horrible i called for a cab never showed up not the first time either . Really sad considering they are one of the biggest cab companies in the area read more

Very great taxi service the drivers are nice and they keep the taxis nice and clean and are right on time to pick people up I would ride them anytime instead of Uber or liyft read more

This company doesn't deserve a 1 star rating. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'd like to warn everyone to avoid Budget Taxi as if it were the bubonic plague. The dispatchers are incessantly rude. The drivers are awful. My cab driver refused to give me my change. I paid with a $20 for an $11 dollar ride, she claimed she could only give me $3. I asked if she could take me to a store to get change and acted as if that were an outrageous request. I just wanted out of the cab so badly I just accepted the $3 dollars. My other driver was a man with the worst hygiene. He spent the entire ride going off on some negative rant about Eugene. The cab driver also had severe road rage cussing at other drivers, screaming at pedestrians, incredibly awful to be trapped in a vehicle with someone of this temperament, Talk about bad vibes, man. I've called to let them know about my horrible experiences. They did not care and were very rude about it, unwilling to correct any of their mistakes. It amazes me that they're still in business. Hands down the worst customer service. The good thing is that their competitors charge the same price. Friends don't let friends use Budget Taxi read more

I didn't even get the taxi...the dispatcher was too rude. Not only was he shouting but when I said what time I wanted to be picked up he said, "Wow, okay." I just hung up. I think it says a lot about them as a business. read more

The cab driver was polite in conversation, but even though he asked for my address he nearly passed my house and I had to tell him that he did. And when I told him that he just passed it, he backed up and turned, and then stopped in a way that blocked the lane we were in and he let me out IN THE STREET, instead of just pulling into my driveway. If a driver does not wish to pull into the driveway at least part parallel to the sidewalk and let me out. Even though the rates are cheap I wouldn't recommend budget taxi. Executive taxi is way more professional for the same price. read more

Lunatic driver! Unsafe. Do not use this taxi service. Rude driver and better to arrive alive than be a victim of possible accident.

30 minutes late. Driver had no excuse. Hope I don't miss my flight. No wonder Uber is running the taxi industry

On a busy summer night, I was ready to go home and was about to call a taxi when I spotted an empty Budget cab just hanging outside. Apparently everyone else got the memo and had the good sense to avoid Budget, but silly me, I was just happy to snag a cab without a wait. The driving was moderately terrifying, but frankly I was more scared of the driver (at least a car crash would give me the opportunity to escape). He seemed like he was hopped up on something--he was twitchy, slurred his speech, and didn't stop bobbing his head. I was fairly convinced that I'd wake up the next morning bleeding in a bathtub of ice. About a block away from my home I said, "Right here is fine." He told me he had to write down my debit card. I replied that I didn't feel comfortable with that and bargained my fare to what cash I had on hand. Usually, I would feel comfortable calling a company and complaining, but in this case I decided against it because he had my address. My friend's coworker said that he has known quite a few women who have had similar scary experiences, so I am guessing that this is not an isolated incident. But on the plus side, the fare is pretty cheap. read more

Wanted to be responsible and safe for the husband's work party. Budget was not our first choice but they were the only ones available to pick us up. They were on time. The car was an acceptable level of clean. The car sounded like it was suffering from a winter cold though. The driver was friendly. A little chatty and would have preferred not to listen to the radio given our apparent political differences. I felt compelled to write the review because no one had reviewed them in 2017 and I thought the 1 star reviews were a little harsh. Would I use them again? If I was in a jam again, yes but not my go to option. read more

I called to ask for a cab and the guy anoyingly answers the phone "TAXI!"i ask if they are working today because of the weather conditions and " he yells" we are 2 hours behind!"at me like its my fault... If you hate your job then quit.... Never calling them again. What an asshole read more

They arrived within 15 minutes of my call. I could understand their dispatcher who could understand me, the dispatch is not outsourced as it is with at least one other cab co. in town. Cab was clean and driver was courteous and willing to drive the route I prefer. read more

The worst cab company. I had to catch a flight at the airport so called to reserve a ride 2 hours before my pick up time, and the dispatcher forgot to send a driver. I made it on time but the dispatcher made excuses that their phone was broken. When the driver picked me up 10 min later she blamed the dispatcher and didn't apologize. She didn't wear her seat belt, and when getting to the airport she unloaded my suitcase and left it on the curb and looked at me saying "what." I said I have to pay and she was like ohhhhh. I should've just left! I wanted to pay with a card but she didn't have any pay slips or something and blamed it on the driver before her. I told her she could just take my card number and then asks me for a tip! When I said no, she gives me a look. Screw this place. Worst service I've had in a long time. read more

I got to my destination, but it was one of the worst Taxi's I've been in, scary driver, very slow too, try another company...

They take forever, and sometimes don't show up at all. Save yourself some time and call ANY other company.

This is possibly the worst cab company in the world. Always late, snotty unhelpful dispatchers, scary tweaked out drivers, and if you dare complain they just won't pick you up anymore. I use a cab company alot since i don't have a car and to be berated because I complained about the cab being an hour late and then hung up on is not ok. Like someone else said, make your drivers take a dang shower. So gross and wrong. read more

Whoever was driving #841 today...you sir, are the worst driver EVER and should NOT be driving a taxi. Braking hard for no reason , letting ppl go into the lane out of a parking lot during a green light almost causing a massive rear end accident. Completely oblivious! read more

Budget Taxi - Idiot driver - Airport Shuttles Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

We had a horrible experience with Budget travel as well. when the car arrived we were afraid to get into it because we weren't sure it would make to our destination. It was filthy and the driver had no teeth and acted like she was on Quack. Terrifying . We have many good and reputable shuttle and taxi services in Eugene, don't be fooled by their advertised lower rates. You pay a high price to when you use Budget Taxi, your safety. I feel they should be investigated and out of business. read more

Never called this company before, they were my third choice. Driver was 25 minutes behind what was promised... got me home fairly quickly, then proceeded to grumble about taking my card. Most cabs I've taken expect cards rather than cash! He called his operator and they loudly complained about me, in front of me. It was about this time I noticed he'd never stopped the meter! He attempted to overcharge me by two dollars before I called his attention to the error. He changed the details, but he (again IN FRONT OF ME, without giving me any details) called his dispatch and asked them to flag my number! All for trying to be charged fairly. I left the cab and he began to scream at me down the street. I couldn't tell exactly what he was saying, because I was freaked out and wanted to get inside. But the words definitely weren't friendly. I called his dispatch line to complain as soon as I was inside. The man on the line told me the driver had just called about me! The reason? Slamming the door too hard. I told my story, and the man said "sorry for the attitude," with no explanation and no responsibility. Worst taxi service I've EVER taken. Call literally any other company! read more

I don't know about the rest of the drivers at Budget but I would absolutely avoid Taxi Driver Chris Kelsey (car #3). Our company called Budget to pick up a senior citizen (around 80 years of age) to help him get home. The dispatcher estimated what the fee would be since the man was legally blind and needed help getting his money ready in advance. As soon as he got in the cab the driver took off, not giving him a minute to get his seatbelt fastened. Then when the gentleman tried to verify the amount with the driver he yelled at him and said he would charge what he wanted and proceeded to say several nasty words about the dispatcher. The driver then pulled over and very rudely told him to get out of his cab. He was already about half a block down the road and the customer insisted that he was physically unable to walk back to where he was initially picked up. The driver did bring him back and we called another driver. The elderly gentleman was physically shaking when he got back to our place of business. I can't imagine why any company would want a driver like him representing them and I personally would not call Budget again. read more

Friendly service. Not a single thing to complain about! And far better than patronizing Oregon Taxi!

they dont even deserve one star they deserve no stars. horrible! my taxi was $11.50 & they charged me $1,150.00. alot of my money gone that i have to wait all weekend for to get back! luckily i have money to hold me til who knows when that $1,150 will go back in my account but being a young adult in her early 20's thats alot of money to me. imagine if that was all of my money! id be hopeless! they were no help but to just tell me that i should call my bank and that it was voided and be back in my account. ridiculous. eugene you need uber and lyft. then this kind of stuff wouldn't happen read more

I'm surprised no one has warned people about this company. The owner is extremely rude and the couple of times I have used their service, the taxi drivers seem nice enough but the taxis are run down and smell. Don't go through these guys. Same price as the rest of their competitors. read more
