Recently used PDX Elite on a round trip Beaverton / airport trip and they were fantastic. Cars were spacious and very clean. The gentlemen we had were friendly and took care of all of our luggage. The company has great communication. We were scheduled to be picked up at 4:45am but at around 9pm the night before I started getting nervous that we should leave a few minutes earlier, so I sent them an email asking if we could leave at 4:30am instead, really not expecting anyone to respond in time. They actually emailed me back within 10 minutes and confirmed the earlier pick-up time. Then, our return flight landed at PDX (an unheard of!) 40 minutes early. As soon as we touched down I texted the number to see if there would be any way someone could come pick us up for 40 minutes earlier than planned, again not necessarily expecting a response - especially since it was close to midnight. However, they texted me back instantly that my driver would be in touch with me soon, and sure enough our driver texted me within a few minutes. By the time we grabbed our suitcases off of the conveyor and walked a few minutes to the curb, our driver was already there and waiting despite us being 40 minutes early - and, again, it was close to midnight on a Wednesday. We used Elite to pick us up from PDX when we returned to the US from Mexico after six years outside the country. Everything we own packed was into seven suitcases, and so we needed help to get from the airport to our hotel in Salem. The choice was an Uber, which would not have worked for our situation, or a luxury car service. Hewar was wonderful from when I first called him to arrange our trip. He was attentive and patient, even when I called him multiple times with questions. The manager, Rasheem, met us at baggage claim. Our driver, Zhieco, was professional and friendly. He helped us get our (very heavy) luggage into the hotel. On the other hand, the company I called first did not give me a chance to explain why we needed help at baggage claim. As soon as he heard that, he immediately said he couldn't help me. He threatened to post my phone number online when I wrote him a one-star review. I was shocked. I would've taken it down, regardless, because I don't post bad reviews. So, I was especially glad to talk with Hewar on my second phone call. I highly recommend Elite. If I ever need a service like this again, I will for sure call Hewar. read more

This is the second time we have used Marquee for roundtrip service from Astoria to PDX. A fantastic company and such lovely people! They braved the fog to get us to and fro this time which we could not have managed ourselves. The vehicles are great and we very much enjoy chatting with them on the drive. Highly recommend! We recently used them for transportation to the airport. The night before our trip, our flight was cancelled. I immediately contacted them to reschedule and the process was super fast and easy. After being gone almost three weeks we received confirmation the day before our return and TADAAAA Zico was there waiting for us at PDX for a super comfortable, clean and professional ride back home. Traveling gives me so much anxiety, but New Star Airport Shuttle makes transportation to and from Portland International Airport such a breeze. They're very accommodating and do what they can to insure you have a comfortable ride. I highly recommend them especially if you're weary about taking a ride service to the airport. The car is new and clean, dare I say immaculate? It's a spacious car and pretty comfortable. The driver (Hewar) is personable and professional. He's really easy to talk to as well. He wasn't on his phone during the ride which made it feel that much safer. They're extremely punctual and reliable and got me to the airport with ample time for check in and getting through TSA. Rates are laid out on the website, some additional rates may apply for certain locations so make sure you tell them your address for clarity. The amount of riders and bags for the ride is pertinent when booking so they can prepare the car for the trip. Kids who ride in car seats? No problem! Just let them know. The more information they have on riders, makes it easier and faster for them to cater to your needs and to get you to where you need to go in a timely manner. I believe it's a 24 hour service which is crazy, but also great when you need a ride super late or at the crack of dawn. Flight delayed or arriving a bit earlier than expected? Just shoot them a text or give them a call. If you're in the air and can't? Don't sweat it. They track flights going in and out of PDX, which is awesome! They will let you know where to meet them in the pick-up section of the airport. I appreciate how organized they are and flight tracking is going above and beyond for me. I've been in shuttle buses where I've been packed in like sardines with a group of strangers, and they do not do this. New Star is a shuttle service, not a bus service. It's not a multi-rider, multi-stops, shared experience with strangers, so don't fret. You book it, you're the riding it, so you don't have to be scared about other people delaying your trip or getting crammed in and sitting with people you don't know. Traveling, especially during COVID, is a bit of a pain. I really appricate this shuttle service - it made travel I had to do easier. I had to get picked up early (5:00 a.m.) to get to the airport on time. It's a 45 minute drive from my house and I was driving back in a moving truck so parking my car at the airport wasn't an option. The driver arrived 10 minutes early and was very professional. The car was clean, in good condition and setup for all COVID protocols. The cost was also very reasonable. I highly recommend New Star and will use them again whenever I need a shuttle service. I've used New Star a half-dozen or so times when I needed to get to/from the airport for a trip. They are fantastic. They have never been late, in fact, they're usually 10-15 min early every time. Their cars are clean, they are friendly and safe drivers, and when we needed to get 8 people and luggage to the airport, they provided 2 minivans to handle us all. Early pickups are no problem - I've had them pick me up at 5am once. Prices are reasonable, and their communication is excellent. PDX was great! I flew from South Florida to PDX with my four young kids and they were prompt and helpful with a large clean SUV and cold water. Fantastic service! This was my first experience using a shuttle to/from airport. New Star was recommended by a friend and I'll definitely use them again. Our group of 7, plus bags and backpacks, had to be picked up at 6:15am in Tigard for ride to airport, and then at 10:00pm from airport for ride home. Both times, the driver texted the day before to confirm. He was 5 minutes early to get us there. And our return flight arrived 20 minutes early but so did the driver...I got a text from him while waiting for baggage that told us where he was parked! It was very reassuring. The van was clean and comfortable and the driver safe and efficient. The price was reasonable for us - less than it would have been to park offsite for a week, which is what we usually do. This was much better...door to door service, plus bags loaded and unloaded from van by the driver! Unless you have a dependable free ride, New Star is the way to go! read more

Airport transportation in a popular city doesn't get better than this! After reviewing potential shuttle options on Yelp I came across New Star Airporter. After completing the online form on their website, I quickly received a response confirming the reservations. They are transparent with pricing on their website, and you are able to verify the cost of your specific trip over e-mail with them - I greatly appreciate the transparency. The gentleman who drove me both to and from the airport (Ammar?) was excellent! Once my flight landed I received both a text and a call from him letting me know where to find him in the pick-up area.
