Had a lovely time visiting Soter vineyards for the first time. We had reservations and were…read morevisiting with a club member. Welcomed with Rose and then sat and served seamlessly. The staff were all excellent, everyone very knowledge, polite, & prompt. I enjoyed their larger than most wineries menu of food, lots of options! And last but not least the views! The main building sits above the valley and overlooks the rolling fields below, stunning!

I have to say that this vineyard hit my radar from friends who spoke of its praises. A friend had…read morean extra spot for their fall wine tasting and offered it to me. Yes please! Then I found out I would get a raffle entry with donating ten cans of food. I was sad to see so few towing food with them to donate. Walking up and being handed a gorgeous glass of rose was pretty amazing. It was so wonderful having people rushing to great each person leading them in. I was glad I got there early so getting around was far easier. The drive up is a bit long, steep and gravel. I did not use it but a member later showed me the commode trailer as I was taking a snap shot since I laughed at the 'luxury toilet' label. They are air conditioned and definitely quite a step up from a blue box situation. For the event I was able to try 2 types of pinot noir, their sparkling and their chardonnay. Delicious and I was in shock to adore their chardonnay because that is not a wine I enjoy often. The food was also lovely. I was a bit surprised as to how many children were present as even the popcorn seemed not something children would enjoy. The grounds are also very adult with gorgeous views but with lots of gravel around, the kids were running through the tents since there was no where else to be.

We asked if we could walk them before a tasting and the server told us that we could also sit on the patio with them while we taste if we'd like. It was a cold day so she set up the fire table, our wines, and even dog treats. The wines were wonderful and we ended up buying two bottles. I love that they are organic. There was a beautiful view of the vineyard from the patio too! This will definitely be one of our favorite memories of the trip! Highly recommend!

A nice selection of both reds, rose and white and beer on tap for non-wine drinkers in your group. We enjoyed their snacks which included a cheese plate as well as a large bowl of truffle popcorn. The staff was so welcoming, and we enjoyed their hospitality so much we decided not to go to another winery that day and just stay there. We can't forget about the winery dog, Pinot who is such a nice dog and greeted us as we entered. Top notch in all categories! Don't miss this one in your winery outings.

I had a fantastic experience tasting here with my partner. The tasting room itself doubles as a…read morelittle artisanal goods shop-- think little wool/knit wine bags and hand-crafted birdhouses. The birdhouses in particular were absolutely lovely and added so much charm to the space. The tasting room takes walk-ins, and were greeted as soon as we entered and told we could sit anywhere. Our sommelier was absolutely delightful-- there were two women working and both were so, so friendly and made us feel very welcome. We tasted one white (a Chardonnay that I actually quite liked despite it being my least favorite white wine) and a number of reds. When they poured the various pinot noirs, they brought a second glass and had us do a side-by-side comparison. I absolutely LOVE it when tasting rooms make the effort to do this-- it really brings us the differences in the wines so you can tell what you're trying. We also tasted a red blend and a syrah. The syrah was my favorite. In the midst of us tasting the reds, the women pouring for us brought out a couple of chocolate hearts, which was really the cherry (or the chocolate) on top. It's been hard in the past couple of years to find people that offer such a wonderful experience at this price point ($20)-- especially if you're a younger person. I can truly say that this was wonderful, and we will absolutely return next time we are in the Valley.

Love this place. Friendly, casual and relaxing tasting rooms. And oh the wine!! They also feature…read morelocal artists wares which is always fun to explore.
