I have been wanting to try this winery for a very long time. The tastings are not cheap, starting at $40, but I had a club share and thought it was time to see what the hype was. Ty, our server, was amazing. He was so engaging and walked us through the tasting with finesse and even offered up tastes of varietals not offered in the tasting. Of course, I walked out with a yummy Pinot that will be appreciated on a future occasion.

Best wine tasting experience in Willamette Valley. Bar none. Worth every penny and not as expensive as others. Enjoyed the selections, views, hospitality and the charcuterie board. If possible, ask for Ty he's the best. If traveling back that way it's the only winery I would repeat.

This was our first stop in the Willamette Valley and it was wonderful! The view was great, so was the wine (we bought two bottles) and our tasting with Ben was fun! Definitely recommend!

Aged so well and it's so so so good. The cork crystallized which we've never seen before

The wine tasting experience at Adelsheim felt like a visit with old friends. Our wine concierge Pablo made us feel so welcome and we learned a lot about the wine making process. He was both fun and informative. They have a beautiful garden, which they allow guests to walk through. They have a diverse wine lineup on the tasting menu, but it is heavy on chardonnay and Pinot noir. The charcuterie board was a great addition to the tasting. We could have spent the entire afternoon on their beautiful patio eating cheese and drinking wine.

They made us feel right at home. Patio was ideal in the shade with panoramic views. Cheese was soft and tangy with a touch of honey. Phenomenal wines from the OG makers.

This was our second stop on our wine trail vacation and it came highly recommended. We were very excited to try Adelsheim, but unfortunately the overall experience fell flat and the price was crazy for the pour quality. First, because we were excited and because I needed to get tastings scheduled at all the wineries, I kept waiting for them to release their September schedule to make a reservation. It took just a few weeks prior to Sept for them to open up for reservations, but that was ok - I got it booked. Trying to enter was a disaster because they were harvesting (which is exciting, but please mark HOW to get into the building) and the sign was turned backward at the main entrance making it appear they weren't open. I took a walk and we finally figured it out after a phone call. Upon entering other guests were greeted with a taster of sparkling wine... but not us. We were led outside to a 6 top, despite there being two of us, which made things not-so-intimate. Note the outside isn't handicap accessible and we had a stroller we had to figure out how to carry. If it actually is, we weren't offered an alternative way outside. Indoors looked a bit dated, so it was nice to go outside and see the view. The tastings were SO SMALL, like less than I would typically take as a sip of wine. I will give it to the staff member, they were consistent in their pours. They would talk about the wine, we would take our sip (clearly our glass was empty before she was done talking) and she would say "enjoy! I'll be back with the next pour!" We laughed after she left at the fact we had nothing to enjoy. After the second time this happened I broke my small sip into two even tinier sips. She queried what we liked best and we explained it was hard to tell because we hardly could taste the wine (couldn't roll it around, take another sip, smell it, pair it with food, etc.). I was SHOCKED we were charged $90/$45each for that "tasting." In total, the five wines did not even equal a half of a glass. It's offensive to ask a customer pay that - it seriously appeared that we split a tasting (if that's even a thing?). I'm so confused. I've traveled all over wine regions in the USA - this is by far not my first tasting and I am fine paying that if I actually get a real tasting, but this was offensive.

We had a lovely experience at Adelsheim- great friendly staff. Jake guided our experience and he was very knowledgeable. He shared this in a way that was easy for us to understand. Views were nice and we loved the shaded patio. And the wine was awesome!

    Very nice outdoor seating!

What a beautiful property, with such hospitable staff and wonderful wines! I visited this place during the Juneteenth holiday, and I was very pleasantly surprised that it was not crowded. We had almost the whole place to ourselves! Very comfortable patio couches with coffee tables (regular tables too) overlooking the beauty of the area while you taste your wines. Very relaxing and serene place! Don't forget to walk up to the garden!

Cute winery! Make sure to make reservations. There's a nice view outside. It was a cold raining day so they sat us inside and we came right at opening. Our first wine tasting for the day. We did the regular flight with some whites and some Pinots. Their Pinots were good. We ended up buying 3 bottles of it to take home. Service was friendly. I love their onsite poodle! It's so cute!!

Beautiful Venue, Amazing Wine, and Excellent Host! Adelsheim Vineyard was a highlight of our trip! The venue is stunning, and we loved sitting outside under the shade on a beautiful day. Our host, Bradley, was fantastic--super accommodating, knowledgeable, and made the experience truly memorable. The wines were outstanding, and they ended up being our favorites from the entire trip. We can't wait to come back!

Stopped by this winery while in the Willamette Valley. We made a reservation and it was our first winery stop of the trip. They check for your vaccine cards- they also let you know this ahead of time- both when you book and a text reminder the day before. Don't like it? Don't go there. They start the tasting with their rose, which is delicious. Sara did our tasting with us and she was fantastic. She asked about what we liked and didn't like and really personalized the tasting for us. We were able to taste lots of wines because she would bring out different things for each of us. This was the most informative tasting we went to the whole trip, as she explained the process of winemaking and graciously answered all of our questions. They also have a great patio!

Beautiful winery! The wine and food were amazing. There is a flower and vegetable garden you can walk through that's very cute. The service was great. Umbrellas are provided to block the sun on your walk.

It sits on a hillside with the fields of grapes splayed out before you. It's beautiful. It's literally Utopia. I wish that it remained a utopian experience. I don't know about you but I expect excellent service while at a winery. This time when we visited Utopia, albeit our tasting flights were comped, their goal at the end of the day is to get you to buy a bottle(s) or become a wine club member. So when I go limping in and ask the man behind the counter if he can recycle my glass bottle he says yes he can but then as I approach him he tells me I can just go ahead and take it outside to the white bin. From this interaction I left the tasting room and the winery host and that the winery host with the strong sensation of sour grapes. The host arrived with very good timing just as most of us had finished off our first pour which was as I recall a very fruity, like and alcohol fruit salad served very chilled. It was actually quite good. Next came three Pinot noirs. I typically do not care fore Pinot noir wines, But I will usually find at least one Pinot that pleases me. This was no exception. The first Pinot in our flight was ok. I was the wine list showed only our tasting flight. The second Pinot was a delight, it was full flavored and peppery, such a nice surprise. The last Pinot I don't think anyone liked. On to the Chardonnay. It was described to us as being aged in first oak, and then stainless steel. I would have enjoyed it more if it was only aged in oak, If you find yourself in the neighborhood, by all means, stop by. There is something on the menu for everyone. 2023 - Review # 40

Highly recommend because of the relaxed atmosphere...art adorns the tasting room for purchase...and the backstory to that caught my attention. All of the artists paintings have a life story. But on to the wines! Our party enjoyed the Rosé of Gamay Noir...sunshine in a bottle! Elegant & delicious...definitely as the French say "Yummy". The 2023 Aligoté ohhh man... *sighs* I can still recall how this could be the winner for crab cakes or seafood. They are among a hand few of estates that produce this in Oregon. We were fortunate enough to taste the Sauvignon Blanc that is grown lower in the vineyard. John, the passionate proprietor, described how this was unique to Oregon and it is. He described how the location of the vines receive a warmer growing climate...and it was evident as we toured. The Savignon Blanc was unlike anything...I lived in New Zealand, and I appreciate Sancerre ...their Savignon Blanc crossed that bridge with bliss to my taste buds. Worth it!!! The Chardonnay was exceptional as well... I believe the 90 plus scores from wine writers and critics...it was paired with Seasonal Salad with PNW Salmon Arugula, radicchio, shaved cabbage, green leaf lettuce, cherry tomatoes, radish, and hazelnuts with green goddess dressing...just enough acid and just enough fruit, wonderful balance. You be the judge! Onto the Pinot Noir... Paired with four month aged Beemster goat cheese. It was a 2021 that shined. Just enough body like Sophia Loren, just enough depth like a podcast you want to listen to again and again. Captured my palette for sure. Next it was the Gamay Noir...not sure how you wine folks like Gamay or have had experiences with per se...their Gamay Noir is svelte... it's like you're a kid and... it's your first dance...it's delicate and light...it has sensibility...harmony... a perfect dancing partner...
