We had a lovely visit here and did end up buying a delicious Riesling, a Gamay and a Pinot Noir. The lady who did our tasting was informative and very helpful. Told us about the history of the place and about the llamas. It would be fun to do an event here as the views are amazing. Would have liked a wider variety of wines to try. We tried 4 Pinot Noirs and one Chardonnay on the tasting menu but ended up buying 2 that weren't on the tasting menu. The llamas are adorable!

Service here was excellent, you can tell that she loves doing what she does. Often times a sit down tasting you're hearing so much about the life of the person pouring your wine or about the bottle that you can't really enjoy the wine or the company you're with - this was not that. Our host did an amazing job of balancing our experience and showing so much passion behind what she does. The cheese selection was excellent and overall ambiance was great - the music was perfect for the kind of day you imagine spending at a winery tasting room. The wines were not anything to rave about, great but not amazing or unique.

This place is incredible! The wines are fantastic and they have a well-rounded tasting. We were able to try a rosé, a few whites and a few pinots. They even did some side by side tastings for the sane varietal in different years or vineyards, which I love! Some standout wines were the Gewürztraminer (which I normally don't prefer but there's was semi dry), the 2020 Riesling, the estate Chardonnay, and the Pinot. The service was so friendly. We were even half hour late due to traffic and they didn't rush us or anything. They gave us generous pours and the wines were very well priced between $25-$50. Would definitely return.

Rain Dance was our first stop and first winery we'd been to in Oregon. Of all the wineries we went to in the following days we found ourselves comparing them to Rain Dance in both wine and venue. The view at the new location is superb. We loved sitting on the patio looking out over the valley. Carl was taking care of us and spent a lot of time explaining the wines and history. The owner also took the time to stop by to chat which was much appreciated. The wine was very good and we ended up buying several bottles and wishing we had bought more. This really is a great spot and o r that we hope to visit again.

I really enjoyed this experience, a beautiful warm sunny day, sitting outside tasting wine. Plus, llamas! First we fed the llamas, a dose of hand sanitizer, then we drank the wine. They brought out a little plate of cheese, crackers, and olives, that were nice to snack on while looking at the hills and the llamas. Super helpful friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Absolutely loved our visit! We had intended originally to visit Arborbrook winery, about 5 miles away because of their tasting special yelp check-in offer for 2 free tastings. I have always been a fan of Arborbrook winery, and I try to visit there about at least once a year. If you are in the area, and have the time....I would recommend them too as a second stop. We were making our trip out there when my parents and I stumbled upon Rain Dance vineyard. I had gone on a lavender tour last week with a small group of my girl friends. We also drove by, and it looked like they were having an art show, which piqued my interest. During that weekend though, I had planned that day out and me and my friends and I had a set schedule, (but in the back of my mind I was intrigued by this bright colored red building off the beaten path). Seeing Raindance again, I encouraged my parents to stop. To my pleasant surprise, it was not just a vineyard tasting room, but also a spectacular gift shop and llama farm too. They had wine and Llama themed gifts available. They also had soaps, matchbooks, jams, lavender lotions, keychains, and jewelry. Wine tastings we're $15 and $20 flights, but they let us try the rose and reisling for free. We ended up buying a bottle of reisling and spending at least an hour just relaxing in their spacious sunroom and patio. They even provided a plate of waffer cookies for us and food to feed the llamas. It felt so relaxing and good. The wine bottle was only $22 and it was a solid to good reisling. We absolutely loved spending the afternoon feeling like new guests in an enchanted hideaway. Staff were very pleasant and kind. We Loved hearing stories about the llamas and the wine. This is a Very fun place for a visit. So glad we stopped. I made some new llama friends. I don't encourage bringing kids to wineries, but this place was so delightful with the gift gallery and llamas outside that I would recommend it to be pretty kid/family friendly too. Well done! Loved this place, definitely a highlight of my month! We will be back!

Got in early for a good spot on the patio!

The new tasting room is actually a remodeled house and it is beautiful! The patio and view are picture perfect. We spent the entire day drinking wines and just relaxing. We will be back!

Words will never be fair to explain how gorgeous this winery is. The views are beyond breath taking, with just as equally amazing wine to match. We got wine and DELICIOUS pizza for our group and everyone absolutely raved about how fantastic it all was. We discovered they had been charging our credit card but not contacting us or sending wine. We eventually found out that the wine we had paid for was sitting at another winery. We drove from WA to OR to collect our wines and the place was closed inside of business hours. We contacted them and they "graciously" offered to ship our wine to us. The winery is now reopened under new owners. Based upon our previous experience, we canceled our membership and received confirmation that it was canceled. Today they tried to run my credit card again. No instance of Lenne winery has shown the basic capabilities to conduct business and exchange funds for goods. I strongly discourage getting into business with a place like this. Please don't support negligent (at best) businesses.

Husband and wife founders and owners Jim and Stephanie Houchins are nothing short of fantastic. The wines we tasted were excellent. After meeting Jim and Stephanie, I could really see the passion they had for wine and their vineyard. Oliver Springs is truly a labor of love for them. According to their website ( https://oliverspringsvineyard.com/ ), their first vintage year was 2016 and they "are currently producing approximately 300 cases a year, making [them] a micro-boutique winery." Our tasting consisted of the following wines: * 2021 Chardonnay * 2019 Estate Pinot Noir * 2021 Estate Pinot Noir * 2019 Kieta's Block Pinot Noir * 2019 Sasha's Block Pinot Noir The tasting, regularly $25 per person, included a sheet with tasting notes. Stephanie conducted the tasting and Jim assisted. Jim also took us on an educational and informative tour of the vineyard. Oliver Springs has multiple grape clones, which are cut and grafted from the same mother vines. I'm no wine expert/connoisseur, but I believe the general thought is clones produce more consistent, higher-quality wines. The Kieta and Sasha Block Pinot Noirs were named after two of Jim and Stephanie's huskies. A third husky, Mosey (Mozzie? I'm not sure how to spell it.), joined us for our tasting and vineyard tour, which added to the experience. :) Oliver Springs is a small operation. I believe the vineyard is only about 3.5 acres. I know it's not Stephanie's full-time job and I guess probably not for Jim either. They're open on weekends by appointment only. Our group of eight visited on a Saturday morning around 10:30am. We left shortly after 12:00pm. They have a relatively small, simple, clean, and modern building with a tasting room inside. Unlike many other wineries, this one provides an intimate, get-to-know-the-owners type wine-tasting experience. Several of us ended up ordering wine afterwards. The wine cost anywhere from $42 to $50 per bottle. As is customary, they have wine clubs you can join as well. See my pictures or contact them for more info. If you're putting together a list of wineries to visit in Oregon, I highly recommend Oliver Springs Vineyard.

But this time they were closing early for a wedding and doing all the prep for that while trying to serve customers. The poor staff serving the wine tastings were frazzled from being pulled in multiple directions. We had to wait a long time before being served and longer in between pours. I would suggest that next time you host an event like that you close earlier or shut down for the day. It was not a pleasant experience for customers and it appeared the wedding party arrived early too and they would have had more space to relax and enjoy their special day if there were no customers around. But again... I usually have an excellent experience! Wine selection is amazing!! The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. And the setting and ambience amazing! They have fun events throughout the year. You must go Halloween weekend and get a Taro reading! We had so much fun last year. And they have great deals on wines. I suggest going just not on a day they are closing early for an event.
