I was in Detroit and was helping my daughter coordinate a shuttle from PDX to a residence in Seattle after a canceled flight in NY. I found Portland Express Shuttle which is a second business of Rose Shuttle. Alan was so very kind when I called him. He said Relax, Mom - I will pick them up and they will get to Seattle. My daughter said the driver was "fantastic and very lovely". These days it can be challenging to know you're dealing with a legitimate business. I can't say enough about Alan and his reassurances. We had a large group of 14, 6 were children and we had a pick up time of 4:15am. These very professional men were at my house by 4am ready to load all our luggage and help with putting in all the car seats. They were very helpful and patient with everyone. Van's were very clean and comfortable. We loved their service so much that we called them to pick us up from our trip even though coming back it was just 3 of us so we could of called for an uber but we felt the prices they have are basically the same and it was great knowing that we didn't have to wait, he was there waiting and loaded our luggage for us and even helped us unloading. Very unhappy with Rose Shuttle. We had reserved a van for 5 of us returning from Mexico. The reservation was placed over a month in advance. Upon our arrival in Portland at 12:30am we received a text informing us that due to the snow, our shuttle (which was waiting for us) would be $200 rather thank the $105 quoted to us. The reason was due to weather and the fact that there we no taxis or Ubers available at that time. My wife contacted the Rose Shuttle rep on the phone and was told if we did not pay we would be stranded. I asked our driver (a subcontractor to Rose Shuttle) if he was receiving additional compensation due to the weather and he said he did not. They were just pocketing the difference. Rose Shuttle are thieves and poor businessmen. I hope this message can encourage others to not do business with these crooks. read more

Travel can be stressful...especially with children and the elderly. The last thing I want to worry about is driving and parking at PDX. I've had to get to the airport very early in the morning and arrive very late in the evening for work trips to Anaheim and Las Vegas and used Rose Shuttle each time. Vehicles are immaculately clean, the driver is impeccably on time and communicates extremely well. They easily adapt to changing flight schedules and track your flight to pick you up on time. This is why you book a private shuttle and pay a little extra instead of relying on car services or taxis. Very good experience each and every time and I have found my shuttle service for every trip to and from the airport from here on out. They also offer a variety of car transfers and can accommodate families and quite a bit of luggage. It's very handy.....and using a good local company that knows its way around is essential in a city like Portland with our traffic problems! We had reservations w/ Rose Shuttle for pick up @ PDX, upon our return from vacation. They requested the flight information, and made the reservation. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances our flight was a little delayed. When we arrived, there was no one to pick us up, and when we called their response was "take a taxi", and leaving my pregnant wife, 5 year old, 3 year old, myself and a stack of luggage as tall as me standing on the curb @ midnight with no ride home. After significant searching to find a taxi that could accommodate us all plus the load, and having to pay twice the fare, we finally made it home around 1:30 am. I swear on my grave I will never again patronize this business, and will go out of my way to warn others of their shoddy, irresponsible, and unethical, business practices. So this is it, do yourself a favor and avoid them like the plague. read more
