The service I received from PDX Shuttle service was perfect. My wife and I experienced the worst storm in Portland since 1947, After numreous canceled flights and non-responsive drivers I reached out to PDX. To my amazment,someone actually answered the phone! I called other services that merely had recordings. It was imperative that I make my 6:00 am flight back to Sacramento. I own and engineering firm and being gone three full days was worrisome. I asked for a 3:30 pick-up not knowing the road conditions. I verified the appointment with a text and within a minute it was validated. At 3:15 the driver was at my hotel and texted me he had arrived. The driver was extremly cautious driving in icey conditons which was comforting. I made my flight with time to spare! I have used several shuttle services in Portland area and although they were ok wasn't happy until I booked with this company. Good family owned business. My first time booking with them I was hesitant because of my prior experiences. Went to Virginia with family that trip and our plans changed few times for various personal reasons and luckily they didn't add to our stress and headaches!! Have had stressful and rude phone/email exchanges with few other shuttle companies, taxi, and ride share as well, but pdx shuttle service made it simple and convenient. That's exactly the way it should be. Not to be attacked by stranger over the phone or told to change the days I'm flying!!! Even had three companies DEMAND my credit card information to be charged for rescheduling my booking. The dispatcher was very kind and accommodating and simply said just give me an update when you figure it out. The way it should be. Idk why so many other companies make an easy thing so difficult. The day of our flight the driver texted me 30 min before pick up time saying he is on route and called me when he arrived 15 min before our 0615 pickup time. We had everything packed and was finishing a quick breakfast I apologized because it was 0620 and she reassured me it wasn't an issue saying you can't start a good journey on an empty belly. 20 min after we left the house dad says he forgot his wallet back at home. So now we are driving back home and poor driver had to listen to our arguing and yelling. Had awkward silence after yelling at dad. Our driver she told us few stories about lost wallets and joked around easing the tension and was very courteous/professional. Turned that unpleasant moment surprisingly into a very comical and fun moment. Got us to the airport quickly and unloaded our luggage. Very great first experience and prelude to our vacation! Have used them several times since, once to get to work in Wilsonville from northwest Beaverton because of mechanical issues with my car. Terrible experience with this business! Booked online for shuttle service for 8 people and 7 pieces of luggage. Received a confirmation email stating they would be picking up 8 people at 7 AM the day of our departure. At 6:15 the morning of our departure, I received a call from the driver stating he was on the way. I said "you are picking up 8 people and 7 pieces of luggage" he stated no, I am in a minivan and don't have room for 8. I told him I had received a confirmation email from his company stating they were picking up 8. He said he would have to call his dispatch to get another vehicle enroute. I told him to do what he needed to do, but we needed them there at 7. NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN!! We ended up having to drive and park in long term parking (cost over $200). VERY STRESSFUL START TO OUR VACATION! Called 2 different numbers, no answer or placed on hold for a long time and when off hold, received a recording that the voicemail box was full! Sent an email and received this response the next day: miss i do apologize but a power line got knocked down by our office do to a car accident that happened by our office and kncoked down 6 different strores power as well and had no way of contacting you and or any other customer we had booked for about 4 hours till road crew were able to come by and assess the situation for you next trip we can offer a discount for your trip for 10% your next trip. We are truth fully sorry but we had no idea that all  of this was going to transpire sincerely  YTC Disptach Um, the driver had called so had my number and my address and I don't buy that there was no way to access information. Poor, poor business and offering a 10% discount hardly covers the stress of almost not making our flight. I would never access their services so a discount is useless to me. A phone call to apologize would have been nice! Think twice before using tbis service. Even with a confirmation email they got it wrong. No effort on their part to contact me. I doubt I would have heard from them if I had not emailed. We would be having a different conversation if we had missed our flight. I would give negative stars if I could. Amazing, simple, and fast. Those are 3 words I would use to describe the service I got from this family run business. The dispatcher was very courteous and nice on the phone and easily booked our departure asking to call back if we had any updates! We had to reschedule a pickup since our flight was delayed and they did it free and fast. The driver arrived and it was a great experience. The 1 star reviews on this page must be for another company as there is no way any of that happens seeing my past experience with them. I will be sure to use them everytime! read more

You can take a taxi. That was the advice given to me when our PDX Shuttle Service driver stranded us at the airport on December 21, 2016. I had booked the ride online earlier that afternoon. When I hadn't gotten a confirmation email, I called to confirm the reservation. The person who answered the phone sure didn't make it sound like he saw my earlier reservation. I gave him all of the particulars including our flight number and scheduled arrival time of 8:20PM. Later in the day I got word from the airline that our flight would be delayed, so I called and let the ride service know of our new arrival time, 9:00PM. Still later we got a second call from the airline advising the flight was delayed further. I called PDX shuttle again to advise of the later arrival, now 10:10PM. When we finally did land it was about 9:50PM. While we were still taxiing on the tarmac, the driver called to ask where we were. I told him we were still on the plane and needed to get our luggage. I told him once we had our luggage I would call him. After we got off the plane and were making our way to baggage claim area the driver called again. I told him we were waiting for our luggage and I would call once we had it. He called me at least three more times. When I finally had our luggage I called the driver and he told me I had taken too long so he was headed home and that I should take a taxi. So we took Uber. Not only was the driver very friendly and courteous, but the fare was about half what PDX was going to charge. Think twice before using PDX Shuttle Service. read more
