From the moment I called till we were dropped off after four magical hours in their stunning luxurious Mercedes Sprinter that I rented to celebrate my son's 17th birthday. They have a good fleet and had availability for last minute accommodations, I think I had tried 2 or 3 other companies off of Google before giving JMI a call and the others were all booked up, while JMI still had one limo available that could fit our party. Stevie Jo was helpful, made the process easy, and is super personable. She even called me back after business hours just to be sure I was able to book a limo that evening instead of waiting for them to open the following day. The experience itself was incredible, our driver Ron has clearly been doing this for a long time and knows the ins and outs of driving out in wine country. We weren't quite sure how he would accomplish getting us up to a vineyard on a narrow dirt road but sure enough he reversed all the way up and made it look easy! We called another limo company to ask for a donation of limo services for a Leukemia & Lymphoma Society fundraiser auction. The other company verbally committed to helping, but then several weeks went by and they never responded and would not sign the donation form. We were scrambling at the last minute to find another limo service to make a donation and Stevie at JMI came through with flying colors! In less than 24 hours, she produced a gift certificate for us to use and signed our donation form. I had to knock a star off simply because the driver we had was not too friendly. It's OK to interact when needed. He barely spoke to us, didn't check in or let us know what's where or whatever, which was kind of annoying. Other than that, I do recommend this company. I thought the pricing was very reasonable and the inside of the bus looked great! No torn furniture or anything like that. At least, I didn't see. The pole was great to have. That was one of the requirements I looked for when I booked this for a bachelorette party. I liked that there was unlimited stops. It was a surprise, so we winged it according to where the bride wanted to go, with places already in the plans, of course. We are about to wrap up our 5th corporate VIP trip to Portland this week, and I couldn't be happier with the service from JMI. Our trips were each (4) days long, with clients coming in from across the country. We used private cars to pick up our guests at the airport on day one and drop them back on the last day. All of the drivers were kind, professional and prompt. They tracked the flights themselves, which took a TON of pressure off of myself and my event team. On the 2nd and 3rd day of each trip, we used the corporate bus to take us up to Newberg and back- with stops in Lake Oswego and Tualatin. This vehicle is clean, incredibly comfortable, and rides smooth. If you have any choice in drivers, Randahl is someone I would recommend again and again. He was our guide for every trip, and we truly consider him a part of our team now! I also want to commend Stevi Malinowski for all of her help and hard work in making each one of our trips a success. I was able to fully focus on every aspect of our clients needs because she handled every detail of the transportation clearly, and patiently (I was a bit disorganized at times- and she was amazingly patient) . Very upset that I used the company's "book now" feature to reserve a specific vehicle for a specific date for a vehicle that I knew was available ( I called in beforehand) and it was disregarded by the company. They waited to write me back (days later) until the vehicle was booked by someone else. My reservation request was completely ignored. Johnny at JMI was rude and condescending. I called him several times trying to set up a limo for our wedding and each time he quoted me a different amount for the same day/time/destination and then said he couldn't take down the reservation because he was out of town. When he finally did take the reservation down, he then called me back a few days later and forgot he had the reservation. He asked me what price he had given me, and when I told him he said "No, no one here would give you that price it's too low!" and denied ever talking to me about it. When I called to confirm a week before the date he said the same thing! Not to mention that the white limo I paid for ended up being a black limo. Boo, JMI, you were the worst decision we made for our wedding. EDIT: 8/28/12 - Johnny at JMI called to apologize for our experience and also mailed us gift certificates to make it up to us. I'd like to give 4.5 stars, but for some reason I can't quite hit 5. The limo (white Chrysler 300) was great, ambience very cool, but there was a learning curve with the electronics, and though it was supposed to be for 6-8 passengers, 8 would have felt cramped. The set up on the phone was a breeze and Taylor was super professional, she made it extremely easy to plan for whatever. If you're the kind of person who needs email confirmations and .ics calendar invites, though, be aware that this isn't coming. If you want to reconfirm your reservation you need to do it the old fashioned way and pick up the phone. Glassware was provided and clean, ice was there, and the driver Tony was professional and nice. We had no issues getting to any of our destinations and we really had a great time. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone in the Portland area looking for a full service limo company, and won't hesitate to use JMI in the future. read more

Had a great experience booking, with Johnny listening to our needs and proposing the good solutions that were very price competitive. On the day of the event, limo showed up on time with a very friendly driver and a great server. We all enjoyed the top quality limo and very comfortable accommodations. Despite hitting typical traffic for a summer Saturday, the driver was very capable and no one even noticed the slow down. I booked with JMI for a 40th birthday, wine tasting day (this was actually in Oct the year before last). Johnny provides 5 star customer service, and the quality of the party bus was excellent as well. The reasons I give it 4 stars is because the driver wasn't familiar enough with where he was going. I didn't notice it at first, but later noticed he had a paper map and this is probably why, I am sure GPS would have sent him the way I had planned around. I did not book any visits to wineries off of Hwy 99 and was opting for the Carlton-Yamhill side. I arranged a meeting spot off Hwy 210 in the south Beaverton / NW side of Tigard to take a shorter route out to the area. The driver ended up going out the opposite way to Hwy 217 down to Hwy 99 and down Hwy 99 south a ways (I think Newberg). He didn't even take 210 to Roy Rogers to get down to Hwy 99 in Sherwood (cutting out a lot of miles, traffic and time). This meant nearly an extra hour of driving. We missed our last reservation. The driver called the vineyard to make sure we weren't charged (for the group our size we had to leave a cc to reserve / guarantee the tasting). Fortunately, they didn't charge me, but we were all disappointed that we didn't get the last vineyard in. Note to self: another hour booked, regardless of making the vineyard or not, would have been fun to just drive around and continue the fun in the party bus. It wasn't until the end that we were all happily intoxicated and having a great time taking advantage of all the bells and whistles of the bus. read more

JMI Limousine is the BEST!! They saved the night for our dance team this past weekend. We had booked two party buses with another limo company, and at the last minute the other company could not provide insurance information... Which meant we were not able to proceed with the scheduled services. I began my search again with less than 48 hours before the date for a party of 38. Johnny made a few exceptions to make the night happen, and they were able to provide everything needed the same day! The night of, Doug (the driver) was there early and the Fleet Party Bus was spectacular! Doug made the trip so much fun for the dance team, but really went above service when one of the girls left a pair of shoes on board.
