I picked up an Elite taxi at the airport taxi stand. Once in the car (which smelled of smoke), I noticed there was no meter and no obvious registration. I asked the driver about the lack of a meter, and he said it wasn't required if rates were posted on the side of the cab. Fair enough, I guess, but I also couldn't see how he chose his route (which seemed out of the way - I've driven to the airport many times and would never take that route). When we got to my house, the charge was higher than I've ever paid for a cab home from the airport, and I take them with some frequency. Eugene Elite Taxi has been amazing, helping get my daughter to and from the airport since she started at the UO. One of her friend's moms ended up contacting them her freshman year (she's now a junior) to pick her and her friend up when they flew back from a break because her daughter called and said there were no Uber or Lyft drivers available. They picked the girls up within a few minutes and I've been using them ever since. It's super helpful that I can just text them with the information and I always get a response back quickly. They have picked her up from her dorm and now her apartment and multiple times from the airport and have always been prompt, friendly and professional. When she landed, Elite Taxi was a no show and left her stranded at the airport. I called them to find out what happened and asked for a call back with an explanation. I never received a response. She said she was curbside at Eugene Airport and without hesitation asked me to send my daughter to her car. Eugene Elite Taxi is a dependable, safe, and comfortable way to get around Eugene Oregon! I booked a 3:30 am pick-up, to get my 5:15 am flight out of EUG. The driver, West, texted me 30 minutes ahead to say he's on his way, and again when he pulled in the driveway of my airbnb. Because of the location of my airbnb I didn't need to pay the extra expense of renting a car, and now that I know about Eugene Elite, I just might keep with that plan in the future. I feel they would be completely reliable and safe if I would need a ride anywhere around town! They are a local company, and owned/managed by women (apparently two sisters, who actually do some of the driving themselves). Don't hesitate to call/text them to arrange a ride! read more

I have used this service three times now and each time I have been very impressed. I have lucked out and had the same driver each time. He's fun to talk to and extremely reliable and great at his job! The last time I used the service, I was scheduled to fly in on 12/30/2021. The flight to Seattle was canceled due to the bad snowstorm and so I had to rebook the flight for the next day which meant rebooking the flight from Seattle to Eugene. That flight ended up being delayed over two and a half hours. I kept in communication with the company. They understood and were very funny in their text exchanges with me. They were over 45 minutes late and contacted them multiple times within that time and heard no response. When they finally arrived I was not given an explanation as to why they were so late and no apology. Definitely will not be using this service again. Uber and Lyft are cheaper, just use those. read more

I used Eugene Elite Taxi 3 times over the weekend. I feel luck their taxi was available upon our arrival at the airport. I pre-booked them for an early morning pick up on Sunday and everything was smooth.
