The car was dirty, and when you turn in the AC all you smelled was dirt. Had to wash it myself and get the thick mud off from underneath

However i have never dealt with Hinshaw Auto Body on any sort of project prior to this job. Highlighting the pros of this job; paint itself was matched well and seemingly done correctly. Even went above and beyond (to my knowledge) and painted the hood which was not on the service bulletin to be warrantied. They were fairly open to me seeing the process and answering my questions if anything came up throughout. Unfortunately with any pros came multiple cons; starting with body pieces being incorrectly put back, gouging tint on all four windows without telling me, breaking headlight electrical plugs, lack of cleanliness (buffing compound all over the truck, some of which stained parts unrelated to the project), etc. Although a few of these items were corrected, others were slacked on. Overall i am disappointed in the service that was highly spoken of from Doxon Toyota. I would normally recommend body shops, dealers, companies, etc. But in this case it is nearly impossible to do so. I would hope in the future this can help customers be aware of what can potentially happen to your vehicle here and provide feed back for Hinshaw Auto Body to be more attentive going forward.

You know those companies with insanely long contracts full of fine print, where they rush you to…read moresign so they can take your money--and your soul? Yeah... that's this company. They don't treat you like a human being. You're just a number, a signature, and a transaction. The employees seem like they're only there to clock in and clock out--no passion, no sense of mission, no genuine care. Just fake smiles and scripted kindness. They don't care what you're dealing with or why you're there; they don't even really see you as a person. This is a car rental business, which means most customers are people in need. There should be some level of compassion, patience, and understanding. Unfortunately, that's completely missing here. Here's what happened to me: The night before renting, my wife and I called to confirm exactly what we needed so we could come prepared. We were told clearly what was required. The next morning, we showed up with everything--only to be told they don't accept my card, even though it's a Visa. The night before, they said they accept all Visas. If you don't accept all Visas, then don't tell people that you do. That's misleading, plain and simple. I stayed calm, gathered my things, and left, understanding that mistakes happen. I figured I'd double-check everything and come back fully prepared. Fast forward a week later: I return with everything they told me I needed. And suddenly--there are new problems with my documentation. Now it needs to be "a certain way," something that was never explained beforehand. I have a life. I'm married. I have kids. I don't have time for constant back-and-forth when I'm spending my hard-earned money. Business is a trade--money exchanged for service--and this place does not offer honest, efficient service. Bottom line: Unless you have a lot of time on your hands and want to deal with people doing the bare minimum, I do not recommend this place. My experience could--and should--have been much better.

After ending up getting towed to a Tacoma mechanic's shop, had to rent a car. It was late afternoon…read moreon a Saturday.Not as easy as expected due to lack of availability. Ended up taking an uber to this location in Puyallup . When I got there I was informed that there would be a long wait to pick up the car. Lots of people came in right after me. The place was closing in 20 minutes. And they were severely understaffed. (this seems the case all too often, in the quest to use AI to depersonalize large businesses & optimize profit) The Staff on hand that day were truly amazing. Doing their best in a difficult work environment. Especially Rachel who was in car detail dept but took charge that afternoon.. She informed everyone of the long wait. Ran around like an athlete, checking out the vehicles. And yet dealing gracefully with disgruntled customers. This review has is 4 star vs the 5 due to the understaff issue. Enterprise has always been my go to for car rentals..I certainly hope they will figure out their staffing situation. It really puts undue stress on their employees.

This is why i asked for a $1,500 discount. Tahir the sales person said that Kelley Blue Book doesn't know that market. Kelley Blue Book was founded in 1926 and has been an industry standard to protect consumers and help them get a fair price on vehicles. Duffy's business model must be focused on preying on the credit challenged customer and getting them into financing a vehicle at above market rates. Your response to my review never addressed the nearly $1,400 accessory charge that was tacked on to my price estimate i posted. Funny how this charge appeared on my quote when we never talk about any accessories. This was your way of price gauging me since i asked for a lower price. I mean how dare a customer come into Duffy's and try to negotiate a lower price. Your narcissistic response confirms my review of what a douche bag used car salesperson you are. I do want to thank you for treating me with disrespect which lead me to leave your establishment. My daughter and I purchased a 2017 RDX top of the line advanced package with every possible feature, which is one model above the one I was look at buying from you. one owner vehicle with immaculate service record. We purchased it from Audi of Bellevue who listed it at the lower end on the KBB price. I did not try to negotiate a better deal because I already knew they were giving me a fair price. We ended up paying over $5,000 less than Duffy's with no hassles and all of the salespeople were very friendly. In the end I would never recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from Duffy's or Brandon Rheil, They are very dishonest and don't care about their customers. Do your research, there are better deals out there and much better people to buy a car from.
