"I'm Going Slightly Mad" - Queen…read more This location was our return for the rental from SEATAC to downtown Seattle, for a 6-hour rental. We forked out the $69.00 rental for the day as we wanted to explore the city before checking into our hotel, and go shopping. It was also nice as my husband and son used the car as a crash pad to catch some ZzzzS while I was parked at Pike Market Place and went shopping alone. The return wasn't as smooth as the pick-up from the airport as the street signs were CONFUSING as heck. No left turn except for buses onto 3rd, what??? We circled around and around using Waze app due to multiple one-way streets. The entrance to Alamo for the garage wasn't really marked, either. It was the Twilight Zone. After about a stupid and ridiculous 20- minute drive being stuck on one-way streets and circling around and around, I said, "screw this! I am turning LEFT!" Once into the building, there were no signs, so we drove up a few flights to an Alamo booth and idled the car, wondering what to do. There were no signs, did I already say that? There was a lone woman in a booth talking to what appeared to be a customer. I had to get out of the car to ask her what to do, and she said we could just park the car. She was nice, though. You need sleuthing skills to return a car here. Convenient, but only if you know what you are doing.

Our rentals are great the majority of the time but on the few occasions we have had an issue we have contacted their customer service via text and email and they have always worked with us to resolved any issue we have. However, after leaving the lot we began to notice it was full of personal receipts, snacks, masks and a permeating, sharp sour odor. Although it had the seal of approval of the previous cleaner on the dash, ( which I gave to the second cleaner when returned), she took the original, hand-signed authorization( that he had completed his job) to her office, never to return. We were unable to settle this situation at the lot, but have pictures, including the personal papers. We left the snacks and masks as is, but I have pics if you would like to see them. Honestly, we had to wipe everything down, but couldn't eradicate the smell! I'm glad that we all had our vaccinations because, this is a Pandemic!!!!! I have spent much more time on this than it should have taken to resolve this. The other portal would not accept information and bounced me 4 times, and agents have rerouted me 5 times. No one seemed to be able to help. Sent from my iPad

I laughed because never in my life have I inspected under a car before renting, nor have I had a rental car inspected underneath upon returning.. He said I was liable and would contact my insurance. Because of extreme parking challenges in my neighborhood I could not have a larger SUV type car -- the only kind left at the end of the day. She went the extra mile and located one more vehicle that worked. Additionally upon my return, Bryanna (?) was incredibly helpful-- going the extra mile as well making sure that despite my running late she was able to receive the keys that I needed to return that day. Thank you for having Customer Service that actually cares about your customers. I remember now why I returned to this facility after many years. I'm so grateful that Enterprise has such high-quality staff at their locations. Stress is usually high when it comes to renting cars, very grateful for the professionalism of these two leads.

We were unable to opt for a…read morecargo van through the website to move a lot of boxes from Seattle to Los Angeles, so we settled on the smallest moving truck option. When we arrived at the pickup here, we told the man working (named Sunny) that we had hoped for a cargo van. He told us that he had good news because they had one available and that the rest were all reserved for Amazon deliveries. This was a huge win for us as the cargo van is much easier to maneuver and it had a backup camera as well. Sunny was super helpful and kind and he's the reason for the smooth trip we had and the five-star review. I hope others are able to interact with him so they have a similar experience to ours.

Horrible experience. I was rented a broken moving truck which I was supposed to drive from WA to CA…read morewith. Problems with the truck before driving it off the lot (check oil light, water pump written on window and potentially still needing to be serviced?) and the front desk guy dismissed my concerns. He was very rude and unhelpful, and also forgot to give me the dolly & moving pad rentals. After loading the truck (only halfway full) I begin my trip and immediately check engine light comes on. Wait 3 hours for roadside service (at midnight in sketchy area of Seattle) and mechanic says it's a 'misfiring error' but 'should be fine to drive'. At that point decide to postpone departing till the AM. Next morning only make it 20 min on freeway before engine overheating alert comes on repeatedly. Spoke to front desk guy and asked if he can look at maintenance reports as I was worried it was unsafe to drive (maybe problem w/ water pump?). He was again dismissive and told me he can't help. Called roadside assistance again and this time wait 5 hours for help. Mechanic finds that thermostat is stuck open and cylinders misfiring - deems it unsafe to drive. 2 hours later give up on getting the truck replaced/serviced (Budget didn't have replacement trucks till the next day at the earliest) and end up getting it towed and paying to rent a Uhaul. No help from Budget transferring load into new truck. After being delayed a full day and waiting for 10+ hours on 3 different roadside assistance calls, the Budget truck only made it 40 miles on my 800 mile journey. Still waiting to hear if i'm getting my $1,300 refund for an unusable truck, hotel room for extra day and 24+ hours of wasted time.... Everything about the experience was unlike anything I have come across - given other complaints, their biz should be shut down as fraudulent. Tip - NEVER use Budget for truck rentals, stick with Uhaul - far more reliable (and affordable).

The only car rental place that had cars available was Hertz. I walked up and was told they only type of car they had was of course the highest tier. I was stuck and had no choice but to rent it. The next day I received our corporate rate code. I call the rental counter directly because the is not a corporate owned location. The person I spoke with said that she could not apply the corporate rate to the rental because it was company policy not to apply corporate codes to walk up rental. They also added that they were sold out. When I asked if I could get a copy of the policy to not apply corporate codes to walk up rentals, I was told it is not in writing so I could not get it. So, I guess if the policy is not in writing, how can you enforce it. I believe this is a perfect case of price gouging if I ever seen it. I definitely not rent from Hertz again, whether it is corporate owned or not. Very unprofessional for a business to still operate like this.
