Wow!! What an incredible experience we had at Kasai Scottsdale…read more This place has a very luxurious feel and the service is top notch. We came in for a birthday party & got one of the Teppanyaki tables. Our waiter was awesome & the Chef for the table was well suited for the job! He was so fun and cracked a lot of jokes that everyone enjoyed. He kept everyone engaged throughout the entire experience. He made everyone at the table catch rice in their mouths- even if it took 5-6 tries per person The food was delicious - the portions were on point. The prices were fair. It's on expensive side, but part of the cost is definitely for the experience, which is well worth it. All in all, everyone had an amazing time. This is the perfect place to come with a group to share some laughs and create a memory that nobody will forget. It is so fun to see your meal cooked right before your eyes & interact with the chef throughout. I've been to similar places in the past & none of them compare to Kasai! We will definitely be back!

I suggest going somewhere else that is actually worth the time and money. We arrived there on time but they weren't ready for us yet. It took over 30 minutes for us to get a chef to our table and cook. We sat at the table hungry. The quality of food was not worth the prices. We ordered the steak ($50, definitely not worth it) and they did not cook it right. It was overdone. We also ordered salmon. I couldn't believe my eyes... the salmon ($38, not worth it) they had brought to our table was still half frozen! I had mentioned this at the table. I was ignored. I had to ask many times for different things from the chef due to the food not being good. I should have not ate it and just said something at the time but the waiter was in a bad mood and the chef wasn't the friendliest. The workers seemed tired and wanting to be there to do the job. I'd rather stay silent because I know how it can be working at a restaurant that has been busy. Our service... the waiter wasn't patient and had an attitude from the very beginning. I looked over at my friends and we kind of went silent. The performance at the hibachi lacked. I know the chef was probably worn out but our reservation was at 5 pm. Not late at all. We were super let down because the restaurant itself was beautiful but so many bad things happened. The only thing I liked from the restaurant was the happy hour they had a few nice drinks. That's it. The place is not accessible. there are places you have to step up, watch wear you step, it has a lot of declines and inclines. Not a lot of accessible parking. The entrance is so far away from most of the parking. Not enough room at tables for wheelchairs or scooters. It was super loud, very smoky and irritated not only my eyes my almost everyone at our table and other tables.

When we walked in it had a very fishy smell, so it kind of made us second guess our choice. But we went for it anyhow. The greeter/server was very pleasant and sat us. It was very clean inside with ample space between seat. We browsed through the menu and started with our usual edamame and pot stickers. The edamame was salted well throughout where a lot of places just put the salt on top only. We ordered a couple varieties of sake which were both good. Out of all of the things we ordered the karange skewer was just a little more oily than were use to, but still good. The spicy salmon roll had really great flavor and the lollipop roll was probably one of the better versions that we have had. The musubi was giant to say the least, it was good, but offered a bit too much rice. Overall the food and service was great and we were very happy that we ended up here!

We were nearby for a show, and decided to stop in on a Wednesday evening for a late dinner with some friends. They have a good happy hour menu, and my friends ordered off there, but I was craving sushi so I got the nigiri omakase. It came with miso soup, which I enjoyed, definitely hard to go wrong there. The sushi itself was decent, nothing crazy, but definitely better than grocery store quality. The tuna and salmon pieces were a little fishy, maybe not the freshest, but it was also quite late (~10pm) so I wasn't expecting too much. Beautifully presented, and the cuts were quite large which was nice! The food came out pretty fast, and the service was pleasant. The restaurant vibes are pretty dark, and moody. The bathroom was kind of scary personally, super dark and a little messy, so I decided to wait till I got home. Overall, a solid experience, and definitely a good choice if I am in the area.

We arrived a little after 5pm and the restaurant was mostly empty. But in the next 20 minutes it filled up and there was open sitting at the bar only. The mood was initially quiet but quickly turned more up beat as the restaurant filled and pop rock music was playing. We asked our waiter a few questions about a few of their rolls and he was very helpful with guidance and recommendations. We ordered Salmon Lemon, Spicy Tuna, Salmon Avocado Maki and California rolls to share for two. This restaurant uses purple rice rather than traditional white rice. This was the first time we have tried a sushi roll made with purple rice and we both loved it. It added a nutty flavor and hearty texture. Purple rice is similar to wild rice and far nutritionally superior to white rice with more antioxidant and fiber. Shortly after we ordered we were served a potsticker dish. I mentioned that we did not order the item and were informed the appetizer was complementary. We thanked the server and tasted the dish. The potstickers were nicely pan fried and had a great crust and flavorful chicken filling. Delicious! About five minutes later our rolls were delivered. All were fresh tasting and delicious. Our favorite was the Salmon Lemon roll. We loved the pop the lemon added. Honorable mentions to the Spicy Tuna roll, very well done, excellent balance of heat and flavors. We truly enjoyed our dining experience and look forward to returning. Highly recommended for a quality sushi experience!

Everything was fresh and tasty. The presentation was excellent, as well. My fav is the Carpaccio and The baked mussels. Yum! After I tapped out, they brought a beautiful tray of oysters for another table that looked amazing. I would try that next time. We also had the Spicy Garlic Edamame, Miso soup, Seaweed Salad, and the Gyoza. Our server was super sweet and very attentive. All the staff work as a team to make sure everyone is happy and getting everything they need. They all help to clear plates and bring new dishes to the table. They have a decent array of drinks and Sakis. The seating has a good size area with booths and tables. They have room to move tables to accommodate for larger parties, which is a bonus. There are tv screens up on the walls with different shows and videos playing. They also have music playing which was nice. It's a fun & casual vibe. They just recently changed ownership and names so that's probably why we got in so quickly on a Friday night. They are making changes to the menu and so there will be more updates coming soon. The parking is right outside and it's a big shared lot so it was easy. The building and windows are dark but at night they have a new neon sign that says" Brave Sushi-all you can eat. " There are two cost options you can pick $35 for all you can eat, except the Nigiri, or $40 to include the Nigiri. They both include ice cream for dessert. When you are in Peoria, Arizona, check it out!

The atmosphere is welcoming for both regular guests and those celebrating special occasions, and it really stands out as a place where dinner turns into an event. What makes it especially enjoyable is how interactive and festive everything feels. On top of the experience, the food is consistently excellent. Everything is cooked fresh right in front of you, with great flavor and quality across the board. If you're looking for a place that combines great teppanyaki-style dining with a fun, high-energy atmosphere, Osaka Japanese Steakhouse is a top-tier choice.

There must have been several birthdays being celebrated that night because we heard the birthday song quite a few times . I think my brother really enjoyed himself too, which made the night even better. Just a heads up -- it's definitely a lively, noisy place, so probably not the best choice if you're looking for a quiet dinner. But if you want good food and a fun, energetic atmosphere, this is a great spot.

It's well placed amounst popular resorts, endless choices of golf courses, high end shopping, Spas and other eateries. For our of state visitors it is located in an area that provides a great destination for conferences and vacation launching point to enjoy what Scottsdale has to offer. Parking 5/5 There is a great turn-about like drop off near the front door I took advantage of. Other semi private parking is located along the west and south in front and behind the restaurant. Ambiance 5/5++ After passing through the foyer, you're greeted by staff receptionists who quickly get your experience started. The restaurant opens up to a large open dining space that includes an impressive "baresk" wrap around serving counter which allows guests to experience and interact with the kitchen staff. Adjacent to the main dining area is a very trendy wraparound bar and a little more intimate lounge with tables for guest meetups, date nights, after business meetings or relax after playing 18 holes at a nearby course. Facing the bar is the wine cellar, a floor to ceiling long glass presentation of their collection. There is a separate special event room in the back for hosting private dinners with special event reservations. Tonight this room was reserved for Yelp's "Elite All-Stars" and hosted by the Roka-Akar and the wonderful Phoenix Yelp Community Manager (CM) Francheska J, I popped my head in to say hello to her and she was kind enough to give me some merch. So we decided on Ah-So and so blown away. First we were greeted and got to pick where ever we wanted to sit which was great, but we didn't expect the stream with Fish!! It was so cool to see that! We loved it. We always love seeing an attraction like this so it already bumped it up. Secondly I havent been into any Miso soups lately no matter where I have gone, it just hasn't done it for me. This changed today. I enjoyed and loved the taste of the tofu behind my combo meal, Dad also got one. I got the Chicken Katsu and Dad got the Teriyaki Chicken combo. We hadn't expected the miso soup to be added to it so that was a plus. The food was amazing! Dad loved the grilled taste and how the vegetables were grilled with the chicken and you could taste it. I loved the tempura and the crunch of the Katsu. All in all amazing. Something we really loved was the fact that it feels comfortable here. The set up of the restaurant made us so relaxed and it didn't feel too modern or pretentious it just was perfect like going to the local Japanese place in Japan. Highly highly recommend. The lunch combos were also all 18 bucks even on weekends! We will be back to try the teppanyaki and the teriyaki salmon when we are able.
