Went here while waiting for a repair across the street outside non descript but inside very cute, clean -- lady who took order very nice and bright food to the table -- we ordered the fish and shrimp tacos and they were delicious Crispy crust tender inside, loaded with sauce cabbage and avocado -- cost $13 for 4 tacos not bad!

Very disappointed in the quality of food we received. We order 4 sushi rolls and waited over 40min for the order. We didn't mind the wait time since my sister kept telling me they were really really good. We finally received our order and headed home. Once we got home we opened our to go order and they were all burnt. Pitch black all 4 fried sushi rolls, we called and drove all the way back to the restaurant. They did have our order ready but the sushi rolls were still a little dark. Idk if maybe they needed to change the oil or whatever they do to make the Mexican sushi but definitely not worth driving back again for sushi rolls. I couldn't believe the person who prepared them will be okay handing out the sushi the way we got them. People can get sick if the food isn't prepare properly. Will not be returning & it's obvious they don't care about the quality of food they give out since they have past reviews with the same problem.

Very friendly service. I come from SS PHX to eat here and it never disappoints. Love their deals and their food.

Charola w/3 different sushi rolls of your choice $30 dlls

Since I'm the one that put them on the Yelp map, I want to be the one writing a review! First of all, I'd like to say that if you want to venture over to this food truck, you have to come with a very "culturally" open mind. This is not your regular sushi, and this is not your regular carne asada stand, but it can be both! I like sushi, and I will never say that if you love sushi, to come here, because you might be very dissapointed, BUT, if you are the kind of people who likes to try new things, and are willing to give them a try, I think you might find it amusing. The style of sushi they serve it's called "Sinaloa" style, and it comes from the mexican state of Sinaloa, which is located south of Sonora, by the Sea of Cortez. So they still know their carne asada, and they also know their seafood. Here, what they do is serve sushi rolls filled with either carne asada, pollo asado, cooked shrimp, cucumbers, cream cheese, and different types of chiles (jalapeños, serranos, güeritos), and they serve them "Natural or Fried", natural they referred to "non-fried" and frito here doesn't equal "Tempura style". It is just fried to perfection, and served with a side of soy sauce, a mayo-chipotle mix, and a sweet teriyaki-like sauce. We ordered the "Charola" or platter, which was 3 different rolls of your choice, plus "Tampico" (imitation crab salad), fried chiles güeritos, and the sauces for $30 dlls. Prices are kind of high for a single roll, but these single rolls are not your typical sushi rolls which are more delicate, these are massive, they are big, they will fill you up! We usually order 3 rolls + and appetizer on our regular sushi place and are left satisfied, here, we ordered the 3 rolls, we ended up more than satisfied, and took almost a whole roll home. So give them a try, if you don't like them, that's ok, there are a lot of sushi places to choose from, some better than others, and I cannot say which ones are more authentic than others, since I've never been to Japan myself, but I know most sushi places have their Japanese sushi masters... I've been to places where the cooks are Korean, and I've been to other places like Kabuki, where I've seen even a Mexican sushi master, soooo, can't judge!!

    The chinola roll to go.

The sushi here is pretty good, I tried the chinola roll which had a pretty good taste, I personally prefer something with less crab and the chinola roll had a lot of crab. If you're looking for a place where their sushi tastes like the sushi from Sinaloa then this is the place.

    Soooo delicious

It was my first time trying this place last month with my husband & we fell in LOVE! great customer service and excellent food. just talking about it makes me really hungry lol! :)

Cronchi Especial with an extra order of Tampico ($11) - I called before to order and it was ready when I got there

I love this place it tastes just like the fusion sushi they sell back home ( Sonora). Its super cheap ( $9-10 average) and they use quality ingredients. If you are bored with the traditional japanese sushi try this!! I looove it! They have a chipotle dressing that is bomb! Also the crab salad or Tampico is great on the side. They have mexican sodas also for sale. The employees are really nice as well and they let you know when your order is ready.

This is La Charrola, about $30. You pick 3 type of sushi rolls. The make this a big bigger as well. It will feed 4-6 people.

I come to this place at least once or twice on a good month and I'm never disappointed with there service. I love sushi but Sinaloa style is the was to go. If you have issues with raw sushi you don't have to worry about it here they will deep fry it for you and put a delicious sauces on top. I never consider going to a food truck for sushi but as they say, don't judge a book by its cover. The only issue i had in the past was the waiting time for 1 roll, usually 15-20 minutes. Now for a while thy have changed that, if you call in ahead of time you literally just have to drive there to pick up and go.

I stopped in on a very specific mission: ingredients for a ridiculous pozole-pho fusion experiment. I'd already been to one of my usual Asian markets, forgot half of what I needed (because apparently I like making life difficult), and figured I'd give this place a shot. My first thought walking in was, "Oh, this is smaller than I expected." About three minutes later I realized, "No... it's just efficiently packed." The produce section keeps going farther than you think, the shelves are stocked with all the staples I recognize, and then you hit the meat department... and wow. Seafood, pork, lamb, goat, beef bones, organ meats--you name it, they probably have it. If you're looking for something that makes the average grocery store employee say, "We don't carry that," this is probably where you'll find it. I grabbed pho spices, fish sauce (and was genuinely excited to find a vegan fish sauce option!), two pounds of beef bones, and an onion for about $15. Honestly? I expected to spend more. I also stumbled across a Jamaican section, which completely caught me off guard in the best way. I was there with tunnel vision, otherwise I probably would've wandered around for another half hour convincing myself I suddenly needed ingredients for three different cuisines. The checkout was quick, the cashier was friendly, and while the parking lot was surprisingly quiet, don't let that fool you. This isn't one of those giant, chaotic destination markets, feels more like the neighborhood spot where people already know they can find what they need. It is nicely organized which made my quick stop in very easy. I'll definitely be back. Next time I'm giving myself permission to actually browse instead of speed-running my shopping list. Something tells me I'll leave with way more than I came for... and honestly, I'm okay with that.

In the West Valley, where the desert stretches toward the horizon, this place opens its doors and somehow makes the earth feel smaller. You walk in for a few ingredients and leave having wandered through a dozen countries without ever needing a passport. The abundance is almost overwhelming in the best possible way. An entire aisle devoted to noodles, shelves lined with teas that carry centuries of tradition, an eclectic produce section where purple sweet potatoes rest beside Asian pears, pandan leaves perfume the air, and every basket seems to hold a new story waiting to be cooked. Some of my favorite treasures are the bun bò Huế noodles, the purple sweet potatoes, crisp Asian pears, fresh pandan, and the endless array of fun drinks that always convince me to try something new. Every visit feels like a small adventure. And then there are the little surprises that make this place unforgettable: an incredible pho restaurant tucked inside, a jewelry shop sparkling quietly nearby, and families from every background filling their carts with pieces of home. What I admire most is that places like Lee Lee's do more than sell groceries--they preserve memory. They help grandparents pass recipes to grandchildren. They give immigrants a taste of familiarity. They invite curious people to discover cultures different from their own with open hands and open hearts. In a world that can feel increasingly divided, a market like this reminds us that one of the easiest ways to understand another person is to share what they eat, what they drink, and what they gather around the table. I am deeply grateful to have Lee Lee's in the West Valley. It is not just an Asian market. It is a crossroads of cultures, a celebration of tradition, and proof that sometimes the most beautiful journeys begin with a shopping cart.

He said that the last brand didn't sell well and they put everything on sale to clear it out. He gave me an uncertain timeline of two weeks for a restock, but it didn't sound real. I am from out of town, and it's a two hour drive, and I came singularly for the frozen mock meat. I did walk the isles and they do have a lot of items to choose from that you will not find in a typical American supermarket, and I picked up some interesting sauces and condiments I hadn't seen before, which was good. Very, very bad was the bathroom. There was a pool of dirty water on the floor with a mop and pail. The latch on the single sit down stall was broken and I walked in on someone. The sinks are stained and dirty. The smell is bad and overwhelming. They need to clean it and wipe it down and fix the sit down stall latch. All in all, the store has a lot of asian products you will not find in supermarkets, they are comme ci, comme ça! ‍ on frozen mock meat products, and somebody really needs to clean their men's bathroom.

Our wait person was the same one we had previously. Her mood was Just pleasant enough to pass the pleasantry test but with a dose of " if I have to be nice to one more idiot..." simmering just below the surface. The food was "fine". My trout almandine had large chunks of nuts overpowering the fish. A different way of serving a dish that usually has a nice crispy delicate coating. This was like a lumberjack was coming to dinner and they wanted him full. Wonderful warm sourdough bread. Fresh, perfect green beans with scalloped potatoes that tasted as if they had been reheated from some earlier conception date. The bread pudding dessert was a nicely done finale but that was soured by our request for some decaf to go o with it. Our waitress said she would be happy to make some. I lifted my expectations momentarily at the thought of a nice fresh cup of steaming coffee accompanying the dessert. She came back two minutes later to deposit two mugs at our table. I thought, "wow, how do you brew pot that fast?" And then I tasted it and I knew. This coffee had been sitting on the burner for at least a few hours. Most of us know that specific taste. Which also means, since she said they didn't have any decaf made...that this was caffeinated. A double whammy for that time a of night. Sad to say, I had nothing last nite that would persuade me to negotiate a parking lot full of gym goers so that you have to park 10 min away,in the heat, for only so-so food served less than graciously.
