Ever since they got the building the quality went straight down, the vegetables are never fresh anymore, deep fried rolls are over cooked and served with a ton of oil. The place itself looks like a shit hole and the service is terrible, if you use the drive thru they'll tell you to park out front and wait til until it's ready so they can give it to you. but then don't tell you a wait time or even go outside to let you know it's ready to grab it, so if it's your first time you'll probably wait long while it gets cold. I wish they had just kept it as a food truck in the property next to the building, everything was always fresh great service and way better ambience. Sushinola, please do better. I will not be returning for awhile after being a long time customer. Hope management sees this and does something read more

Very disappointed in the quality of food we received. We order 4 sushi rolls and waited over 40min for the order. We didn't mind the wait time since my sister kept telling me they were really really good. We finally received our order and headed home. Once we got home we opened our to go order and they were all burnt. Pitch black all 4 fried sushi rolls, we called and drove all the way back to the restaurant. They did have our order ready but the sushi rolls were still a little dark. Idk if maybe they needed to change the oil or whatever they do to make the Mexican sushi but definitely not worth driving back again for sushi rolls. I couldn't believe the person who prepared them will be okay handing out the sushi the way we got them. People can get sick if the food isn't prepare properly. Walk in and signs were all in Spanish. Ceiling was missing pieces and looked like it has a lot of Leaks. Food was highly overpriced for imitation seafood. Rice was super mushy and rolls were completely flavorless. The first three rolls I tried to order the lady says "no have". My Philadelphia roll had a whole block of cream cheese on top of it. First of all, I'd like to say that if you want to venture over to this food truck, you have to come with a very "culturally" open mind. This is not your regular sushi, and this is not your regular carne asada stand, but it can be both! I like sushi, and I will never say that if you love sushi, to come here, because you might be very dissapointed, BUT, if you are the kind of people who likes to try new things, and are willing to give them a try, I think you might find it amusing. The style of sushi they serve it's called "Sinaloa" style, and it comes from the mexican state of Sinaloa, which is located south of Sonora, by the Sea of Cortez. So they still know their carne asada, and they also know their seafood. Here, what they do is serve sushi rolls filled with either carne asada, pollo asado, cooked shrimp, cucumbers, cream cheese, and different types of chiles (jalapeños, serranos, güeritos), and they serve them "Natural or Fried", natural they referred to "non-fried" and frito here doesn't equal "Tempura style". It is just fried to perfection, and served with a side of soy sauce, a mayo-chipotle mix, and a sweet teriyaki-like sauce. We ordered the "Charola" or platter, which was 3 different rolls of your choice, plus "Tampico" (imitation crab salad), fried chiles güeritos, and the sauces for $30 dlls. Prices are kind of high for a single roll, but these single rolls are not your typical sushi rolls which are more delicate, these are massive, they are big, they will fill you up! We usually order 3 rolls + and appetizer on our regular sushi place and are left satisfied, here, we ordered the 3 rolls, we ended up more than satisfied, and took almost a whole roll home. So give them a try, if you don't like them, that's ok, there are a lot of sushi places to choose from, some better than others, and I cannot say which ones are more authentic than others, since I've never been to Japan myself, but I know most sushi places have their Japanese sushi masters... The main entress were very underwhelming. The rolls were packed with rice. Like, other sushi places never pack their sushi rolls with that much rice. First and last bites were just rice. Tried it yesterday and I thought it to be super good and cheap! One roll is more than enough to fill you up as they are not your normal sized rolls. They are rolls on steroids! I tried "El Cronchi Especial" with shrimp instead of beef. After I ordered I wished I would have asked for beef instead to get a better feel for a Sinaloa sushi roll. It was good, but I was hoping to taste something with a little kick to it seeing as how these are Mexican versions of Japanese rolls. I have had lots of sushi in places here in Phoenix and this is as close to Sinaloa style sushi you can get. It has flavor even as it is fried and with the sauces it is worth the wait and is not dry as some of the sushi rolls I've had at other places. for a good 10.00 sushi roll. They have a charolla with 3 kinds of sushi rolls for 30.00 which is a deal. Customer service is great and they also take credit cards. read more
