My mom saw this spot on TikTok so you know we had to take a little foodie adventure. The venue is small and cozy so if you're a larger party you may want to snag a to go order. Staff was friendly and I really enjoyed that your food was made to order so it came out hot and fresh. I ended up getting the trio which included shrimp, chicken, and steak. Great flavor for both the shrimp and chicken. I would highly recommend the shrimp and wish I just had a bowl full of that because it was delicious. The chicken was tender with teriyaki drizzle and seasoned nicely. They do ask you how you want your steak cooked. I said medium rare but it was well done. My stepfather ordered the same as I did and it was well done. My suggestion would be not to ask customers how they want their steak since it appears well done is the way it's cooked and served. Next up was the salmon entree. Both my daughter and mother ordered the same dish and it came out very different. My daughters was cooked more on the well side so it was a little dry. My mother's was cooked on the rare side and juicy. Hit or miss with this and I guess it depends on who is making your salmon Lastly the chicken bowl was a big win. We ordered 2 of them and the consistency was there. Chicken was seasoned well and not dry

I opted to forego the "show" ... being seated at a community table for the chef show. But clearly this is the primary focus of this restaurant. The 5-10 smaller individual 2 and 4-tops are adjacent to the bar. The place was packed, and so noisy I couldn't even hear the other person at my table. But on the flip side, it looked and sounded like the people at the community "show" tables were having a ball. Lots of birthdays and celebrations. Anyway, great menu. Started with a couple inspired cocktails, and moved on to the fish taco's and lamb chop appetizers. Outstanding. Only nit, our server disappeared, and the app plates were left on table when our main courses showed up. We were also never serviced for another round of drinks. For our mains I ordered the Wagyu filet with asparagas and fried rice sides cooked medium. My dining guest ordered the salmon roll and a side of fried rice. My steak came out gray and rare, no sear crust at all. Very disappointing. On the flip side my dining partners portion of fried rice was astoundingly large, and good. Never did see our server again until the check was brought over. We were not even offered the dessert menu other than the small pineapple sherbet that came with my meal. Parking is brutal here. Very crowded area on weekend. Had a long walk to restaurant entrance. Don't think this will be on my repeat list.

Everything was fresh and tasty. The presentation was excellent, as well. My fav is the Carpaccio and The baked mussels. Yum! After I tapped out, they brought a beautiful tray of oysters for another table that looked amazing. I would try that next time. We also had the Spicy Garlic Edamame, Miso soup, Seaweed Salad, and the Gyoza. Our server was super sweet and very attentive. All the staff work as a team to make sure everyone is happy and getting everything they need. They all help to clear plates and bring new dishes to the table. They have a decent array of drinks and Sakis. The seating has a good size area with booths and tables. They have room to move tables to accommodate for larger parties, which is a bonus. There are tv screens up on the walls with different shows and videos playing. They also have music playing which was nice. It's a fun & casual vibe. They just recently changed ownership and names so that's probably why we got in so quickly on a Friday night. They are making changes to the menu and so there will be more updates coming soon. The parking is right outside and it's a big shared lot so it was easy. The building and windows are dark but at night they have a new neon sign that says" Brave Sushi-all you can eat. " There are two cost options you can pick $35 for all you can eat, except the Nigiri, or $40 to include the Nigiri. They both include ice cream for dessert. When you are in Peoria, Arizona, check it out!

The bar server was quick and helpful with the cocktail list, opted for a standard Sapporo and Bloody Mary, well made for a venue as such. We ordered the filets with lobster and scallops. Nothing memorable; food was cooked to order, flavorful but left feeling we could have had the same at a private table. This restaurant is decorated nicely with a pretty water feature upon entering, right side table seating and to the left the grills. No complaints to mention, just standard. Will definitely revisit as the food is delicious. Price for the meal, I felt, is on the higher side for the area.

I suggest going somewhere else that is actually worth the time and money. We arrived there on time but they weren't ready for us yet. It took over 30 minutes for us to get a chef to our table and cook. We sat at the table hungry. The quality of food was not worth the prices. We ordered the steak ($50, definitely not worth it) and they did not cook it right. It was overdone. We also ordered salmon. I couldn't believe my eyes... the salmon ($38, not worth it) they had brought to our table was still half frozen! I had mentioned this at the table. I was ignored. I had to ask many times for different things from the chef due to the food not being good. I should have not ate it and just said something at the time but the waiter was in a bad mood and the chef wasn't the friendliest. The workers seemed tired and wanting to be there to do the job. I'd rather stay silent because I know how it can be working at a restaurant that has been busy. Our service... the waiter wasn't patient and had an attitude from the very beginning. I looked over at my friends and we kind of went silent. The performance at the hibachi lacked. I know the chef was probably worn out but our reservation was at 5 pm. Not late at all. We were super let down because the restaurant itself was beautiful but so many bad things happened. The only thing I liked from the restaurant was the happy hour they had a few nice drinks. That's it. The place is not accessible. there are places you have to step up, watch wear you step, it has a lot of declines and inclines. Not a lot of accessible parking. The entrance is so far away from most of the parking. Not enough room at tables for wheelchairs or scooters. It was super loud, very smoky and irritated not only my eyes my almost everyone at our table and other tables.

First, can we talk about this Arizona heat? My little one was extra fussy, and I really didn't want to unbuckle her just to run inside. I called the restaurant to see if there was any chance they could bring my order out to the car, and they didn't hesitate for a second. They were so kind and told me that as soon as my food was ready, they'd bring it right out to me--and they did! It's those small acts of kindness that leave a lasting impression. Going above and beyond for a busy mom in 100+ degree weather might seem like a little thing, but it made my day so much easier. As for the food... the Hibachi Chicken burrito was SO good! It was flavorful, filling, and paired perfectly with the extra side of teriyaki sauce. I also ordered a side salad, which was fresh and a great addition to the meal. The customer service alone earned five stars, and the delicious food sealed the deal. I can't wait to come back when I have more time and enjoy the full dine-in hibachi experience. My husband and I chose Benihana in Chandler to celebrate his birthday, and what should have been a special evening ended with us walking out after over an hour without receiving a single drink or any food. We had an 8:00 PM reservation and arrived about five minutes early. Despite there being virtually no one at the host stand, we weren't acknowledged for over seven minutes. Once we were finally greeted, we were told to wait "just a few minutes." That turned into another 10 minutes before we were seated. We intentionally chose seats in the middle of the hibachi table because we wanted to enjoy the chef's performance. Once seated, our server promptly took both our drink and dinner orders since we were already behind due to the delays. We thought things were finally moving in the right direction. Unfortunately, they weren't. About 35 minutes after we were seated, a host came over and asked us to move so another family could sit together. We reluctantly agreed, even though it was inconvenient. When I asked our server when the chef would begin cooking, she explained that we had to wait for the newly seated party to order. That is completely unacceptable. We made a reservation, arrived early, ordered immediately, and yet we were expected to sit there indefinitely because another party arrived later and hadn't even placed their order yet. Why should our experience be delayed because of someone else's schedule? To make matters worse, the children at the table were incredibly disruptive and disrespectful throughout the entire wait. When we politely mentioned it to the parents, the response we received was, "They're kids, let them do what they want." There was no consideration for anyone else trying to enjoy their meal or celebrate a special occasion. Staff never stepped in to address the situation. After waiting over an hour from our reservation time, we still had not received our drinks, no chef had started cooking, and no food had been served. At that point, we had enough. We got up and left. This wasn't just a disappointing dinner. It completely ruined my husband's birthday celebration. We chose Benihana because we expected a fun, memorable experience, and instead we left frustrated, hungry, and feeling like our time and special occasion meant nothing. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a restaurant that requires reservations and markets itself as an experience. A reservation should actually mean something. I expect someone from management or the General Manager to contact me directly regarding this experience. An apology alone will not make up for a birthday celebration that cannot be recreated. Benihana needs to take responsibility for how poorly this entire evening was handled and explain what will be done to ensure other guests celebrating special occasions are not treated the same way.

Once the gang all showed up, our server was attentive and super friendly the entire evening. She had a great personality and really elevated the entire experience. She was able to answer all of our questions about which rolls were which and brought the birthday girl a complimentary slice of cake at the end. We ordered a wide variety of rolls and each was really good. The pieces themselves were huge, which made the regular price worth it if you were to order them not during happy hour. I especially liked the eel and cucumber roll. The eel was nicely cooked and each piece was decently-sized. My one complaint was that some of the rolls took way too long to get to the table. The last roll we ordered more toward the end of the night was the dragon roll and I feel like that took at least 20-30 minutes to come out. It wasn't that busy in there throughout the two hours we were there. Overall, though, the size of the rolls and the freshness was certainly there. I'm not a sushi snob but I really enjoyed every roll, as did the rest of us. We ordered a thing of fried rice for the table and the steak pieces were very delicious, but the chicken could've been more tender. Definitely come here Tuesdays and/or Thursdays for their happy hour. Well worth it.
