August 2026 we call Bud Clary because we get a letter of recall on our 2025 Chevrolet Entegra RV of a steering issue. It took them almost a moth to look at it. Many phone calls later and appointments. Never an appointment! We dropped it off thinking it would get looked at that day or even the next and nothing. I told my husband I didn't feel good about leaving it there for whenever they could get to it. So hubby calls them again after the weekend passed. Bring it in on Tuesday so we did and never heard from them until Friday. Everything is good come pick it up. I just wonder if they ever looked at it? I have never had this many issues with a dealership and a truck.. they first started out promising to paint my front bumper to match. After 2 months they finally let me drop off my Chevy at the Ford dealership to have it rhino lined. I asked about the mud flaps that needed to be screwed to my truck. They then said it took to Long to paint my bumper so they don't know if I can get my mud flaps fixed. I put two screws in there that fixed it but in the meantime it shook so bad that it scratched a ton of my paint off my truck. Here's the main problem. I brought my truck and 2,500 mi ago, I brought it in for a simple oil change. They deleted all my codes. And now my transmission blew up. When I had it in it was under warranty. Now it's not. Now I get to pay $7,000 to $9,000 to fix it. I've had my truck for under 5 months now. And I get to replace the transmission. The Carfax said he brought the truck in every time that it was needed for service. What codes did they delete? After speaking to at least a dozen people. It sounds like this happens a lot. If I could give this place a zero I would. My mom and I got a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado back in September 2025. Not even a week after driving it around we had to take it back to service because the dashboard was saying it needed an oil change, and after checking the oil stick it a very very dark color and I still have the photo and date to prove it. It was also warning that the key batteries needed to be replaced and one of the back tail lights was going out. Then not even a couple weeks after that there was a sound coming from the breaks. The truck was in the shop for a couple of days because they needed to inspect it and they said that nothing was wrong. After that another few weeks go by and my mom takes it to a subaru dealership up in auburn where it gets lifted to get new rims on, the worker then notices that there's a lot of oil leaking from the transmission box (as the worker stated). We took the truck to the dealership where it's been since December 2025. I am writing this in April 2026. Since I last spoke to them in late February I have not received an update call and when I do call to ask for them to call me, I have yet to receive any call back. They have not given us a car to drive around in the meantime either and we are angry. Our blood boils at the fact that such a prestige dealership does not care about what they sell. They clearly didn't bother to inspect the truck prior to buying it from the last owner. It just really sucks because this is the reason people avoid smaller owned dealerships in fear that something like this to happen. Every time we go in to talk to someone the staff looks annoyed and angry as we get a sense that the don't want us to be there. But what else do you expect when their own dealership is to blame. This is not our fault. Out of the total time we've owned this truck we have literally only driven it about 3 months. So please save yourself from going through this and go elsewhere, you'd have better luck going to a smaller dealership. read more

My daughter just got her 2020 Chevy Bolt EV car back from this dealership today 2/22. They have had it since mid Nov. Their staff seems to be a revolving door. My daughter and I were patient, considering the EV's are kind of new to the road. But they must have left windows open for quite a while. The seatbelts, floor, and the seats are covered in mold. And there is a greasy hand print on the ceiling in the back. Maybe a disgruntled employee, it kind of seemed like upper management isn't taking care of their employees. i sent one of my customers to bud clary for a security key code not allowing vehicle to stay running. i have dealt with several other vehicles with the same problem and sent them to bud clary with excelent results. usally just a reprogramming of the theft system. this time they told him he had water in the fuel tank. estamated 400.$ they charged him 800.$ to remove fuel tank and clean out. i inspected vehicle after he got back to town and could not see where the fuel tank had been removed and did not even change fuel filter. i sent them email with my concerns and they reply with ai generated sales pitch. do not trust this place the are crooks and refelct horrible on the honest auto repair busness read more

When I came to pick it up Mitch asked if I had my license plates, I told him my company was shipping them and they should be arriving in about a week. He said OK you should be fine then if you get pulled over just tell the cop that your plates are in the mail. Well I did get pulled over and the cop told me that they one hundred percent should have given me a temp plate. That that's on the dealership. This is absolutely the worst and most dishonest dealership and service department I have ever dealt with. This post would be extremely long to fully describe that lack of communication and total incompetence of the service department, but I will keep it short. I bought a 2020 GMC Sierra from them the first part of October. Since then I have been in their service department countless times for vibration issues, a check engine light and squealing back brakes that they had just put on. It is now January and they still haven't fixed any of the issues. They say the vibration issue is a bad control arm. I have a text from them saying they will replace the control arm and the brakes because it should have been caught during the inspection. When I went in to get it scheduled, they are now saying they aren't sure it will be covered. I have got nothing but the run around, no communication and extremely horrible service from them. I came to this dealership from out of state because they had a Colorado that was the year I wanted. Got half way home and the TPMS light came on. No big deal I thought,,, A week later I got a check engine light and there were multiple codes. They had simply reset the codes and represented the truck as having no issues. Maybe they would have delt with this if I brought it back but that means taking a day off work to drop it off and another to pick it up plus arranging a ride. Bud Clary sold me a brand new 2025 Chevrolet Express van that has the roof seam completely rusted. The final inspection was not very thorough. This van is my daily vehicle used for operating my plumbing business.There is visible rust all along the seam on the inside of the van. This is unacceptable on a new vehicle! They will not exchange vehicle for an actual "new'" vehicle. They want the van for 3 months so they can remove the roof and remove rust, reassemble and paint. Then return this vehicle as "new" to me. In the mean time running my business out of a rental van with no signage is a great solution to Bud Clary. Apparently Bud Clary believes it's the customers responsibility to spot problems with new vehicles. If you find a problem after the fact they will only fix instead of providing the customer with what they believed they were buying; a new vehicle! Unacceptable! Buyer Beware! Took my 2014 chevy malibu in for a diagnostics test because the check engine light was on and it pulled codes P0016 and P0089. They told me the actuator solenoids needed to be replaced. I got a bid for $634.00 for parts and labor. They told me it would take approximately 2 hours to fix. On January 20th we dropped our truck off at Bud Clary Chevrolet in Moses Lake to have the DEF heater replaced. We told them what needed to be done but they obviously needed to charge us $200 to verify for themselves. They told us that they would need to get the part in and we would have to wait for that, understandable. The part came in almost 2 weeks ago. After calling and texting without any response for over a week we finally got a hold of someone on Tuesday. They said it would be at least another two weeks for a job as big as this one (it is a one hour job). After realizing they were talking about the wrong vehicle they notified us it would be done on Friday (yesterday). We went to pick up the truck after work last night and the service writer checked with the mechanic and they said everything was done except the alignment and we said we would take it elsewhere for that we just want the truck back. They charged us $2100 for the parts and labor and handed us the keys. We had the service writer walk out to the vehicle with us to check out everything and the check engine light was still on and the DEF warning was still reading on the dash. The service writer told us we could go to a parts store and they could check the code and if it had to do with the DEF heater then it would fall on the service that was just done and they would schedule a new appointment. Levi asked that he go check with the mechanic again before leaving. When the service writer came back we found out that they had not done anything with the truck. So we had just paid $2100 for nothing and had we left we would have been stuck in the same boat. We did leave it there and they refunded our money and assured us it would be done by Tuesday. I feel bad for the service writers when the mechanics and techs are lying to them about the work being performed or not. I was so excited to buy my first Cadillac from these guys. They had the one I'd been researching for a while, so I made the trip from Portland, Oregon. I asked for a warranty that covered everything including free oil changes, they actually sold me a drivetrain warranty for $3000 which is a complete rip off. From day two I noticed the tire pressure decreasing. Each day it got lower and lower and so I kept filling it up every other day. It started on the back tire only but within four days the front two tires were losing pressure also. Figured it was a problem with the sensor. After a month, I finally brought it in to Les schwab. They told me three of the four tires are cracked. I took it to the Cadillac dealership wanting to duplicate the look. They told me that not only were three of the four tires cracked that one tire had for cracks, another tire had three cracks in the final crack tire had one crack. They assured me that there was no way this could happen within the less than two months I had had the vehicle. It will cost $17,000 to replace the wheels and tires. We then took the car to wheel Dr. business. They said the wheels were unrepairable and not even safe to drive on. How dare you sell me an unsafe vehicle and leave me out to dry. The worst customer service! On a Sunday my Chevrolet had an issue with the accelerator pedal. I usually go to a GM dealership in Vancouver, but they didn't have any availability till Friday. Bud Clary was able to get my car in on Tuesday, so I went there. The issue was very common in vehicles like mine and GM has a special coverage adjustment to fully cover the repair and diagnosis. However the service advisor lied to me and told me it was ineligible for coverage. I called my regular dealership and was given the information for the special coverage which I shared with the service advisor at Bud Clary. The advisor insisted it did not cover the issue. I declined the $552 repair and took my vehicle home. On Friday that same week I dropped off my car at my usual dealership. We had a scheduled appointment last Tuesday under Kelly Burnham, which is my father in law that purchase multiple vehicles from here. We had a 10:40am appointment to have some tires put on that we also purchased from here. My father in law couldn't make it due to some medical happenings. So we offered to take the car in for him. Since all prior dealings have been pleasant. We made it in at 10am and talked to Susan and Matt. They check us in and where great, they said they wouldn't be the advisor on it but it would be Kayla. I told them we will go shopping as we had another vehicle and asked how long it would be and went over our scheduled appointment time. They informed me Kayla was aware of appointment and it would be an hour. We left and came back at 11:40. Check in and saw vehicle parked and asked for keys and how much the total charge would be. We where then told at this moment that it hadn't even been worked on yet and where asked if we needed it back at any particular time!? Well we scheduled an appointment, dropped it off well before and came back at said completion time. So many customers are late, very rarely do they show up as scheduled and let alone make it easy by dropping it off. We where then proceeded to be told it will be almost 2pm before it's done. Every business wants you to buy local; we tried; I bought a 2019 Chevy Traverse from Bud Clary Chevrolet brand new, purchased the warranty, and had a wonderful experience with the sales staff, but never will I support Bud Clary businesses again due to a crappy, unmotivated and uncaring service department. Three times I have had less than adequate service from them, but this time takes the cake. I left my car for seven days while I was out of town; one phone call was made on the 2nd day stating that my transmission was almost shot and that my brakes were bad. The service man was told to do what was needed. We arrived back four days later than we told them and returned to find that NOTHING had been done to my car. On top of that, I found that, yes, I need a new transmission, but there are only 3 in the US, and no one is willing to give one of them up. When told the service guy to get me my car and I would go somewhere else for the brakes, he brought out the wrong car! Now, I have a four-year-old car, and I am waiting for the transmission to go out at an undetermined date and time, and I am still waiting for something to be done. Never again. I am so glad that I purchased the extended warranty for parts and pieces that are no longer available. I drive 120 miles daily, and I have an office in Pasco; this makes for a nervous ride every day. It is time to let the legal professionals, mine and theirs sort out this breach of contract (warranty). I have heard a lot of "horror stories" about service departments, But I have never had it happen to me. UNTIL NOW! I will use proper wording to describe my experience. If I said how I really feel... This would be removed for bad words! I took my 2015 Silverado in for a oil change. I have around 36k miles on it. This is the first new truck I have owned. So I am admittedly naive about how things work. THAT IS WHY I GO TO DEALERSHIPS FOR SERVICES. I assumed they will tell you honestly what, and when things are needed. I try to be a trusting person. I like to think that will get me treated right. NOT THIS TIME! Here is what happened........ I was told that Chevy trucks have a 30k mile maintenance that is VERY important. And they gave me a list of things that are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if I want my truck to last. They told me things that involved the manufacturer warranties, etc etc... I trusted their advise, And said I to do what needed to be done. More then 24 hours and $1540 later I got my truck back! I had a "pit in my stomach"! So I called 2 other dealerships and asked for price quotes on this service. BOTH told me that it is supposed to be a 45k mile maintenance! And BOTH quoted me less then $650 for the service! I received a response to my review telling me they were sorry I had such a poor experience and they would like a chance to earn my business back They suggested I reach out to their general manager, which I did...twice. Each time I called I was told he was unavailable, but he would call me right back when he was free. Two days have passed and I'm still waiting for his call. Took my vehicle here since my warranty and extended warranty are still valid. I asked them to check out the service lights coming on. I also wanted them to fix my back drivers side rear window since it grinds. They did fix the light issue by changing a part. That was covered. The problem being instead of opening up my door to check the window motor, they said they cleaned mildew off of the rubber on the outside of the car and lubricated it. Needless to say it's still grinding! The guy in the service dept. Was totally rude and walked away from me when I said it was still grinding. I was charged a $100.00 deductible plus $40.00 for them to clean and lube the rubber. I wouldn't have had to pay a deductible if they wouldn't have done the window as that's not covered. He told me to power wash my car once in awhile! I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone! read more

Feb. 2016 I took my work van into Bud Clary Chev in Longview, Wa. to get a tune up. They charged me over $1,200.00 Since then the van has been running rough. recently the noise was to much to handle. I took it to a different mechanic in Longview, Wa who diagnosed the issue as the bud Clary Chev mech. did a "Shitty job" and didn't have spark plug # 5 properly seated. This causes my Catalytic convertor to go bad and me having to pay $1800.00 for repairs. When I asked Bud Clary Chev. to reimburse me they said, "NOPE". Bought a car at Bud Clary. Within days, the front headlight went out and police pulled me over. Drove all the way back to Longview to get it fixed because previous owner had stuffed a tennis ball behind the headlight to keep it on. Another two weeks, and the drivers side visor fell off. Less than 60 days after purchase, AC died because somebody had patched it with epoxy. Sunroof stopped closing automatically. Dealership says that this Certified Used car problem isn't their problem. I took my truck for some service. I dropped truck off and walked across the street to look at new a Subaru BRZ. A salesman treated us like dirt and I followed him inside and asked his name. On 3rd question he answered "John". I looked around and eventually asked for the sales manager so I could ask him for some knowledgeable help on Subaru's. While waiting for the manager I'm told by another employee that no John works there!! I pointed to the guy and now his name is "Tim"! Got preapproved for everything and was in contact with the internet salesman (Steve Wilson) and let him know I would be there that afternoon for a truck I wanted. Needless to say when I showed up he told me the truck that I wanted to purchase and that he was saving for me just got sold. I even got to watch those people leave in it. His sales manager refused to make it right and give me a good deal on an equivalent truck. This would have been my second vehicle from them. Well, this is my first ever review. Sadly it's being posted because of my negative experience. I guess I should have known that I would feel tricked and bamboozled after buying a car. And actually, I wouldn't be writing this if that was how I felt but then I got great customer service after the purchase. But sadly, I got no service at all the day after my purchase as promised. I felt pretty good going in to the financial room. I got a fair price for my trade. So I guess I was doing ok. Then came the tricky business of the warranty and services pitch tacked on. In the end it's my own fault I guess for never buying a brand new car on my own? But what I thought was 2k was 4k and a lower interest rate, which they could have given me before the added warranty. But ok, never again. Whatever, I got hosed but should have come in with my own financing and it wouldn't have happened. What really really bothers me about it is that 2 people were supposed to call me yesterday and no one did. As a person who makes a living in customer service it makes me pretty sick that there was NO follow up after such a large purchase. It's like now that they made the sale they could care less! Even a call to say we are working on it would have been better. I test drove a lot of cars and the one I really wanted was the chevy! I wish that this dealership had the customer service to go along with it. But they don't. I wanted to buy local too! After this experience I would recommend driving to Portland.
