About three months ago, the fuel system went out on my 2020 Ram. I initially brought it to another local dealership in Oregon, and the experience was beyond terrible. While my truck was still under factory warranty, I had a check engine light. They cleared the light, did a few things, and gave the truck back to me. Six months later, I brought it back in for the same code, except now I was 11 days out of warranty. Suddenly, their story changed -- they claimed they found metal in my fuel system and tried to stick me with nearly $20,000 in repairs. They went around my insurance company, pushed aftermarket warranties, refused to take responsibility for what they had already done, and wouldn't even let me see my own truck without being escorted. They wanted to charge me more money just to take additional pictures. The entire situation felt shady, stressful, and wrong. I finally told them to stop touching my truck and had it sent to McCord, where I originally purchased it. That decision changed everything. McCord took care of me from start to finish. Within three weeks, my truck was fully repaired -- and I didn't pay a dime. On top of that, they were even willing to go out of their way and pick my truck up with their own trailer from the other dealership, simply because they wanted to take care of me. That alone says everything about the kind of dealership they are. Their service team is absolutely outstanding. Had not been for some time and whole system is very dirty and will cost me $1600 or more to fix. The others issues are being worked on as car is not safe to drive. Not sure how much this is going to end up costing. When I went in to Parr's I told him I needed reliable, safe transportation as I have a disabled daughter and have to go to lots of places for her care.
