Drove less then couple hundred mile and started hearing a clunk underneath and vibration and smelling transmission fluid. Took it to a local shop as I live 90 plus miles away from a +. The local shop found the issue as soon as they looked. They found a motor mount bolt missing. They advised they only way it was missing was because it was not tightened properly causing it to back out. The caused the motor and transmission to vibrate and crack the housing on the new transmission I had them install. When I called A+ i spoke to a lady that from what I understand is the owner. I asked her if they were going to pay to have the car towed to them as it was their poor work that caused the issue. The tow quote I got was $1000. She told me no they don't pay for tows. I explained it was due to an error on their part that caused the issue. She argued they didn't do anything wrong. I told her the bolt to the motor mount is gone and they don't just back out if tightened correctly. She said something stupid like "things happen, my car should have started this morning, but it didn't". I then asked if they were going to cover the cracked transmission case their poor workmanship caused. She told me no we don't cover customer supplied parts. I told her yes but it your poor workmanship that cause the issue ruining a new transmission, All she did was repeat "they don't cover customer supplied parts. All she did say was bring it in and they would put the motor mount bolt. I asked why I would pay $1000 dollars to have it towed to them to put a bolt in when the shop where it was at could do that. The bigger issue was their poor work cracking the case on the transmission. In the end she told me to stop calling as she wasn't going to deal with it anymore. Wow, your crappy work, ruin a new transmission and do nothing. This has worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Stay away from this place or hope they don't mess up your vehicle. The high end prices came from the dealer (GM) and NAPA, both reputable suppliers. I called and asked how a $39.99 part came to $99 on my bill. The response was that shops are in the practice of adding additional markup to the parts. I questioned the almost triple the highest amount I found. \They could not say why such inflated prices were charged of did they offer and satisfaction. I was told the manager would call me to discuss but I have not heard from him. Don't get mewrong...they are very thorough and do excellent repair work. Their labor prices seem a bit high bit I understand the need to charge these prices. I just don't feel that the amount they inflated the cost of the part is fair or even good practice. I will be finding a new repair shop.

WORST TRANSMISSION SHOP EVER!!!!…read more I towed my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan there when the transmission took a turn for the worst. After three or four days in the shop, the finally call me to tell me that all the fluid was gone, that there was metal shavings in the pan and that my transmission needed to be rebuilt. Then a couple days later they call me back telling me that the whole transmission needs to be replaced and that it could either be a used transmission or a new one. We agreed to the used trans. They quoted me a price of $2200 plus the cost of fluids. Once the transmission was "fixed" they called my husband, not me (its MY van) and pressured him to come and pick up the van because they could not have the van sitting on their lot. (Also, now the price was $2700!!!) We were in the process of getting a loan to pay for the transmission and it was not yet finalized. My husband told them that we were not yet ready and to give us a couple more days. Needless to say she (Heidi) called him two to three times day to pick up the van. Once we got the van, it proceeded to revert to the original transmission issues that we originally towed it there for. The problems make the van not even go anywhere. My husband was broke down at 3:00 in the morning the very same day we got the van from them! He didn't even make it 50 miles away! They did tow the van back to their shop to "fix" the problem, but now after having the van back for a couple weeks (only drove it about four times) now and the van slipped into neutral on a hill with all my kids in the van! We were stuck there for 10 minutes and every time that I tried to press the gas to go up the hill in our neighborhood we started rolling backwards! This just happened tonight!!! NO MORE!!!!

Over a year later I still have not been refunded. After many excuses, broken payment plans, broken promises his shop has closed and I still have not been reimbursed. I also had to take my car back to the shop at least 5x for running poorly and after 12 months I finally bought a new car. Terrible employees, terrible shop. AVOID at all costs.
