I stopped by here when I had a flat during a long road trip. I was pretty stressed about it but Maddie (sp?) happily helped me out even though it was nearly 5pm near closing. I went there for an oil change and let them know my car wouldn't start this morning, however I jumped it to get there, and now it wouldn't start again (which I explained has randomly happened a few times over the last year). They called me back and said it would be close to $1500 for all of the repairs needed. I was told that the battery plus labor would be $524 and that the voltage was reading around 250. I told them to ONLY do the oil change and took my car to OReilleys, where they read the battery at over 600, checked the alternator, and said they were both fine (and that the starter was most likely the issue). Longview Auto also reported my back wheel bearing was shot (and needed replaced for another $432), however I just had it replaced a month ago and it is fine. 0 out of 5 stars, pretty corrupt place. read more

The customer service was excellent, Mike was very kind and handled many things at once with ease. I only had to wait 45 minutes and best of all there was no charge! A weird warning light came on for my 2016 f150. The new owners at Longview Auto & Tire were able to diagnose and repair that issue easily enough, but they also alerted me to a problem with a torn CV boot that they found while fixing my electrical problem. They called and quoted me a new total price, gave me an accurate time estimate, and fixed my truck perfectly. ABS light on on 92 gmc safari van. They diagnosed the problem and said it would cost $1,400 to start and then would see after that if anything else was needed. I paid $1,000 for the van so it was clearly not worth fixing. They said I needed a master cylinder but had already put a new one on but did not fix the problem. I had new pads that I had purchased that were in the van. I offered to pay for the diagnostics but did not think they were going to charge me $140 for what they said took an hour. I asked them if they could just put the pads on so I wasn't just losing my money. They said no, it's all or nothing. There was no mention of any charge for the diagnostics and nothing was signed. I do feel they should get paid for there time but $140 was very high especially for such an old vehicle. The usual charge is up to $95 for most auto repair shops. read more

There was no one waiting at the front desk like Superior Tire, which resulted in them trying to assume the car, then not knowing, then just asking. Then, they don't drive your car for you, so they wanted me to drive it into their garage/working area. They have Wi-Fi, but it's locked. Not terrible, but with Superior Tire in town, and just a few streets over, your best bet is to go there. read more

Update- we took the car back and they still said it was not making the sound for them and they were very proud of the work they had done on it. They took a test drive with my brother and once they got above a certain speed there was a loud noise and vibration which they said had not been present on their test drives. (Note: they had returned it to us completely out of gas because they had driven it out of town without asking us and then kept it running at the shop. We weren't sure we could get it to a gas station because it was completely on E). They looked around for the source and found the source and fixed it. My brother was able to drive it out of state to his new job safely. I would like to be able to raise the rating on them, but when I remember all the stress they put my family through, I just can't. The point of these reviews is to be honest so others know what to expect before deciding where/with whom to do business. read more

I arrived at Longview Tire between 12:30-1:00. I waited quite sometime before "Mikey" who was on the phone realized I was waiting for help. I asked him if he could check my tire and possibly fix it. He said it would take 30-45 minutes. They took my car into the work area. Mikey came out and asked me if I knew they were Run Flat tires. I told him yes I knew. I told him my husband had them put on before he died so I wouldn't be stranded with a flat.He went back again for a short period of time. He came back and told me I needed 4 new tires! I was shocked. I said no I couldn't afford it. He said that they wouldn't be responsible for the drive train. He tried his hardest to tell me why I needed 4 new tires but was all over the place. He didn't make any sense at all. They were not able to fix the flat so I ordered a new tire. He told me the price and I paid. I gave this a lot of thought after I left. The next morning I called Kuni BMW and talked to the manager of the tires. I told him the story and he explained how they work. I understand very well. Mikey doesn't! He also needs to understand I'm not a "dumb blonde". I felt bullied by "Mikey". "Mikey" needs to be educated on tires. He also needs to realize you don't take advantage of women. I wonder how many women he cheated. I assume he works on commission. Well...he lost it on me. I went to T&T Tire the next day. My tire was fixed at no charge. I watched them as to how they helped their customers. They respected each and everyone of them as well as myself. Maybe "Mikey" needs to take some classes on honesty and PR. "Maybe he will learn something. Maybe he will become Mike someday! I will never return to Longview Tire. I will NEVER recommend anyone to your store. I did get my money back on the tire I purchased. I talked to "Robby" and told him what was going on. He said I needed to talk to "Mikey" about it. Mikey was well informed by Robby before he talked to me. I told him I didn't want the tire. I wanted a refund. He said come and get the money. When I went in he went out the back door. He is a coward.Never saw him. He's a coward! read more

Called to schedule for our town and country to be serviced on a Saturday. Was able to relay issues and 'check engine light codes' so that they had the parts needed, on hand. Thus, our van was fixed and ready to go in a very timely manner. read more

I was on a road trip through the area headed towards Seattle and the brakes on my car started making a crunching noise so I stopped and looked for a place to check the brakes. Despite how busy they were, Longview Auto & Tire gave a free, quick, and thorough brake check. This included a mechanic going on a test drive with me to make sure they knew what type of sound I was talking about. My daughter does a lot of freeway driving for work & with the rain in Washington I wasn't sure what tires would be best. So Roy (one of the owners) had discussed with my daughter and I about the different tires and what they're best for. We picked the ones he suggested, paid a tad bit more than I wanted but she has Never had a problem with hydroplaning like many times before, with many other tires!! Great and fast service! We got there early on a Saturday and they had us in and out with a new tire in 30 minutes.

Although dealt with Dave at Longview Tire for years, very, very disappointed last few times I was there. Dave has slipped away from helping somewhat and has new guy in charge - Josh - Bad Idea. Dave used to always explain to me what I needed and why, this guy, not so much. Last month in there for a oil change/tire rotation - completed in 15 minutes, found hard to believe they could take are of my car in that amount of time, seemed sort of "rushed". Every since then, car would "shimmer" when applying brakes anytime over 50 mph. Took back in yesterday - was told needed new rotors, pads, calipers - even though this same place had replaced these only 2 years back, less than 15,000 miles ago. Looked at there receipt from few years back, costs less than half what they were charging yesterday. Limited for time, I agreed to get service.
