The high end prices came from the dealer (GM) and NAPA, both reputable suppliers. I called and asked how a $39.99 part came to $99 on my bill. The response was that shops are in the practice of adding additional markup to the parts. I questioned the almost triple the highest amount I found. \They could not say why such inflated prices were charged of did they offer and satisfaction. I was told the manager would call me to discuss but I have not heard from him. Don't get mewrong...they are very thorough and do excellent repair work. Their labor prices seem a bit high bit I understand the need to charge these prices. I just don't feel that the amount they inflated the cost of the part is fair or even good practice. I trusted them, stupid me. Not even a hour after leaving the shop my check engine light came back on. Went back in, was told my key will need to turn 100 times prior to it recognizing a new catalytic converter. Went back in a week later and was told my new catalytic converter is now bad again. And they are willing to replace it, but I will have to pay full price again as it's not under warranty due to me ordering it online. I have been in multiple times with no help. Now I am stuck paying yet again for another catalytic converter at another shop.

I brought it to their attention (cordially!!!) and the issue was resolved in a way that was fair both them me for me. If I had to give one piece of constructive criticism, it would just be scheduling. They are generally booked at least a week or two out. But to me, that just tells me they must be great to work with (as I'm obviously not the only one willing to wait to get in)!
