I honestly wish I could give more than five stars. This dealership truly saved me from spending tens of thousands of dollars and completely restored my faith in how a dealership should operate. About three months ago, the fuel system went out on my 2020 Ram. I initially brought it to another local dealership in Oregon, and the experience was beyond terrible. While my truck was still under factory warranty, I had a check engine light. They cleared the light, did a few things, and gave the truck back to me. Six months later, I brought it back in for the same code, except now I was 11 days out of warranty. Suddenly, their story changed -- they claimed they found metal in my fuel system and tried to stick me with nearly $20,000 in repairs. They went around my insurance company, pushed aftermarket warranties, refused to take responsibility for what they had already done, and wouldn't even let me see my own truck without being escorted. They wanted to charge me more money just to take additional pictures. The entire situation felt shady, stressful, and wrong. I finally told them to stop touching my truck and had it sent to McCord, where I originally purchased it. That decision changed everything. McCord took care of me from start to finish. Within three weeks, my truck was fully repaired -- and I didn't pay a dime. On top of that, they were even willing to go out of their way and pick my truck up with their own trailer from the other dealership, simply because they wanted to take care of me. That alone says everything about the kind of dealership they are. Their service team is absolutely outstanding. The service manager and her assistant were always there to answer my questions -- even when my truck wasn't physically at their dealership yet. They were truly just one phone call away the entire time. They helped guide me through a very stressful situation, navigated me in the right direction, and made sure I understood every step along the way. They went above and beyond in every sense. I recently purchased a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon from McCord Bros. My husband and I agreed that it was the best car buying experience we've both ever had. I should have gone off the bad reviews. In January I bought a 2023 Lexus RX from the Lexus dealership in Portland. I have quickly come to find that I need a more family friendly car with two boys and dogs. So I decided on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. You would think that it would be easy seeing my car is so new, it has been far from that, and I should've known based on the name, because we have been to McCord Vancouver Toyota in the last few years and when my husband tried to get a truck there, they spelled my name wrong when they did the credit app so naturally was denied, and when I said something, they blamed it on me and threaten to sue me because I wrote a bad review... come to find out one twin brother owns the Toyota dealership and one twin brother owns the Jeep dealership, so it must be a family thing for them to screw people over. Anyway, moving on... my car blue books for $57,320 on the high end, Lexus and Toyota hold their value because they are currently selling for that. My Lexus is a great car. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. No dents no scratches it is like I just bought it off the lot, 4,300 miles on it. They offered me $44,000 for it. Then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong about how much my car is selling for right now and that I was reading the window sticker wrong. The whole thing was just a waste of time. My wife and I bought a used 2018 Subaru from McCord Dodge. It only had one key so Chris the sales manager agreed to provide another one. When we were driving home to Wenatchee, Washington the radio display started flipping out. I knew we had purchased the car "as is" but I decided to call anyway. Again Chris said had he known the radio display was defective he would have replaced it beforehand. Working out the details for replacement was difficult beings we were 5 hours away but finally I took the car to an automotive audio place in Longview and they installed a brand much better display than factory one. Six months ago I paid for a part to be replaced, paid for it, and while scrapping the car for parts today discovered they never replaced the part. This was discovered because my step-father had written in permanent marker on the old part which is normally hidden by the engine. This particular part caused the check-engine light to come on for what seemed to be a false-positive. It would claim there was a problem with the transmission even though I had just replaced that part. Well the car finally broke down completely while in use. Luckily I was not injured. But it was finally time to scrap the car. While taking it apart, surprise surprise, it was discovered my step-father's writing was still on the part they said they replaced. I paid for the new part. I paid for the labor. It doesn't look like they did any of that. As far as I can tell, they took the money and then used their engine checking tool to just clear the check-engine light warning so that it would not come up until after I drove off the lot. In short, they are crooks. They ripped me off because they thought they could get away with it (and they did get away with it). I'm sure they will rip you off to if they see the chance. If you are on the road when your car fails, I pray you do not die due to their greed. read more

Just bought a 2002 Cadillac Escalade from them and loved it! They were very willing to work within my price range and were very upfront about the car. They got it on a trade in and it was detailed very nicely with most of the service records. My wife and I took our 7 week old daughter and the people there were so kind and hospitable. I talked with the owner for 20 minutes on the car industry local economics. We knew exactly what we wanted and found it on Autotrader so I'm not sure how they are with people who need a selection of cars. I would assume they are just as friendly and easy to work with. Lots of trucks on the lot at all times. Soon they will be the Chrysler dealer for Longview as well. They are undergoing some construction in the showroom but I couldn't really tell anything was happening. The overall experience was very positive. I was very disappointed to find out that the salesman had ran my credit after I told him that I had been approved by my bank for a loan. He not only ran it once but ran it 5 times on a hard check. We had a transmission problem took it this dealer, after they advised the problem, We talked to 3 other "transmission" repair places and All 3 said the same thing which was opposite from this dealer. Our advise "Get a second/third opinion" There was also some customer service/support problems.. just be careful!! Will not go back! In May I scheduled preventative maintenance on my 2006 Dodge Magnum RT at McCord's Dodge. I spent $1500 for a tune up and had all fluids changed. Upon having my oil changed at Jiffy Lube, it was pointed out that there is a leak in the differential unit. The unit is full. I asked McCord to investigate and determine cause. I have owned this car since it was new and have performed every scheduled maintenance and know nothing out of the ordinary has happened. This car is not a daily driver. The manager's response was to make a one hour inspection appointment to investigate and unwilling to offer any additional customer service. I took the vehicle to a Dodge dealership to have an assurance that the car would be well taken care of; not true here. We are looking for a new 4 wheel drive car. It will not be purchased here. G. Picking up a Fleet delivery was nothing but problems..dealership took delivery of the vehicle weeks before we found out it was there. Even after calling several times and being told the vehicle was not there, yet indeed, it was on the premises. Picked up the vehicle and the next day discovered on the back side of the front seat an 8 inch box knife cut, assumingly while being unwrapped. Call dealership & was told we signed off and there was nothing they would do about it. We took to a local trusted auto body repair shop where he found evidence of glue keeping the slice together. They don't have poor customer service, they have NO customer service. Our salesman Levi was great - until we drove our new 2018 Jeep off the lot. Can't be bothered to call us back since then, simply to answer a couple of questions. The parts Manager, Vonia, hasn't bothered to return either of my 2 requests over the last week and a half, to give me information she told me she'd give. Today I called because we bought new tires & wheels for the Jeep but apparently we didn't get the tool kit with the wheel lock tool in it. Their answer: I can buy one for $65 + tax!!! I'm thinking it's not legal to sell a vehicle that you can't get the wheels off of, and at the very least it's a singularly poor business practice. In this case it's extortion. But that seems to be 'business as usual' at McCord. Avoid this dealership like the plague!!! read more

I went there and originally did buy a truck, but the staff was so rude I canceled the deal and wanted my car back that I traded in. I waited two ours and argued with the owner. With all their stalling, I finally had to get Longview Police to the dealer. Imagine my car finally appeared. I left the lot and two McCord Salesmen flipped me off as I drove off the lot and headed for the freeway. A week later they filed a claim with my insurance company saying the truck bed was damaged. I sent pictures to them show the bed was in pristine condition. Follow Jessica and my advice to avoid these guys, it ain't the same dealer 8 years ago I dealt with. got our jeep towed there to run a diagnostic on it to see why it wouldn't start- we got charged 138$ for the diagnostic only to say it was a bad battery. it's a brand new jeep and they wanted to charge us 450$ for a replacement- we took it to arts automotive and they charged almost 200$ less to fix it. bad customer service and terrible prices read more

Recalls on my Dodge truck took me to the closest Dodge dealership. After checking in, I had to sign a $125 charge agreement for future work if something was found outside the recalls (I had a service engine light on and asked them to check it out). I witnessed the service tech work on my truck for a total of 30 minutes and ended up staying over an hour. At check out time, I was given and estimate of $695 to fix the fuel line tree along with the $125 I had already paid. Complaining at this point did no good and was held hostage for the $125. I went to a mechanic and he fixed it for $265 ($60 part). I then went back and spoke to the service mgr (some gal), and she was absolutely no help after showing her the repair receipt. They promised to get back to me. I left steaming. Beware of this dealer trying to soak every last dime out of you. They never got back to me. Funny thing. I was willing to trade up, but this convinced me to stick with a Ford product. read more

In April 2018 my husband and I took what money we had saved to pay cash for a new dodge 4x4 pickup.its a bio deisel and we think we made a good choice..however 2 days ago my right front tire went flat..our truck has 10 grand miles on it..so we loaded up our flat tire and wheel and took it to dealership and were told to go to where they sell Goodyear tires..after investigation it was determined my tire had a sidewall hole in it.the warrantee only covers up to 2000 miles.the tires Dodge puts on thier new trucks are 2x ply cheapo ..in fact .WE WERE TOLD .the very CHEAPstest flimsyist tire you can put on a truck and truck should never have 2 ply.those are for cars. So after hearing that our tire was not replaceable on my new truck we went back to dealership..what did they say ",I'm sorry" .Thats it..no hey maybe we can help u after u spend a crapload of money here..let's see we wrote a check to them for 40 grand but they couldn't see buying us a replacement tire for 120 bucks..that would have been right thing to do..but they did not do that..omg..so im.not gonna but another single tire especially a dr.appt one..so my new truck sits while I save enough to get 4 heavy duty 10 ply tires.. I HOPE McCCHORD is proud of themselves for treating us like crap.. Guess who won't be going there again?? And I'll be telling how they don't stand by there paying cash customers...we know where we stand and it's pathetic. I took my vehicle in for two problems it was having they charged $100 diagnosis fee for each issue on top of that they lost the key to my car and try to tell me I had to buy a new one before they could fix the car. But they would give me a good deal they would only charge me their cost for the new key for the car and their cost to program the key to the car. They have had my car now two weeks and as of this morning I am now getting charged $100 for them to diagnose the second issue however it was told if they could have figured out the issue and it was covered under my warranty I wouldn't have had a diagnosis fee at all because my deductible for the warranty would have covered it even though the one item which had to do with my air conditioning wasn't an item that was covered under warranty they chose to fix that first and have me pay for that before they went ahead to fix the item that will be covered under warranty. Crooked thieves is all they are I sure wish there was another Dodge person dealership closer and I don't mean dick Hanna because I do not consider them a dealership I consider them horrible human beings after dealing with him the first vehicle I ever bought from them. Yestersay, on our way to Wilsonville to look at a car, we stopped at McCord's because they had the same kind of car. Wanted to shop local, if possible. We told the salesman the same thing. He asked what we wanted to pay, we told him, he ran up the stairs to the manager, came back with a price almost $1000 over what we said. We told him no, thank you. We said we would just go ahead and go to Wilsonville and look at the one there. He then looked me right in eye and said they don't have that car anymore, they only have one much older with many more miles on it. I then called the dealership in Wilsonville. Guess what? They still showed the car in their inventory. Then the guy called me back and told me that he went out to make sure and it was on their lot. So, the salesman at McCord's lied right to my face. PLEASE save yourself and NEVER do business with these people. Not only did they attempt to sell me a vehicle that had already been sold, they ran my credit incorrectly 3 times. I chose a different vehicle, they then ran my credit for a different vehicle with different numbers AGAIN, then they sold me a car with body damage I never saw before I had picked it up, it was filthy inside when I picked it up, and the next day service lights came on and I noticed a severe vibration begin at freeway speeds. I called and was told, "the car is your problem now." They messed up my paperwork 4 times....4 TIMES after the car had been "sold" to me...it is 3 months later and I am finding out the tires are completely bald on the inside. Mind you...this was a $30k car...not a beater. They never contacted me for anything but would say, "we left several messages at this number" when I would call THEM looking for my plates, spare key, etc. They also put additional things on my loan that I did not ask for. We had every expectation of walking out after looking at 2 models in order to make our decision and buy through a discount dealer. Salesman Michael R. was not the typical obnoxious car salesman we hate to deal with. He was willing to listen to what we wanted, how much we were willing to pay and what we wanted for our trade in. He didn't try and haggle with us as most car dealers do. He took our request to owner who also didn't try and haggle. We walked out with a signed deal. Loan person was also great to deal with. Brad was RUDE on the phone saying that they are open until 7pm, but if I wanted to make a deal I'd have to be there by 5/5:30...and when I did show up, he left me to test drive vehicles with someone that admittedly "doesn't really do sales". .
