After using this business and being pleased with their service, especially the Service Writer, Andres. I returned for a transmission flush and two tires. What troubled me was seeing my car being driven away by a mechanic. I asked Andres why this occurred, and he said "I have no idea. I will ask him." The manager, Kathy/Cathy came out and tersely told me that the mechanic was doing a "Test drive" and that they do this before and after they work on a car. That is nonsense! I have had tires put on, brakes done, and fluid changes before but there was never a test drive. And Kathy/Cathy was quite "Snappy" with me because I saw my car being driven away. The gentleman who I was working with, Andres, didn't know why the mechanic drove away, and next, I was being fed a line of B.S. Superior Tire has lost my business and that of two associates who referred me to Superior Tire. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this business. read more

We needed tires for our travel trailer. After checking with Les Schwab, we priced the same tires at STS and decided this was the place we'd get the new tires. To begin with, we could get in 2 hours earlier and on our way sooner. Fella at the counter told us we could have them installed when they opened a 7am and be on the road shortly after. Well, we arrived at 7am and the alleyway where we needed to pull in was blocked with their trucks. It took about a half an hour to get all the trucks moved out of there and for us to pull in. The young man who installed our tires was friendly, efficient and did a fast job. It took another half an hour to get those tires on. We would definitely stop by here first if we need tires in the future ... but might wait until 7:30 before we arrived. read more

I have used Superior Tire Service for many years. Recently my truck was towed in to the shop for what looks like a fuel pump problem. While it was outside someone got in the truck and tried to steal it. No problem except for their lead employee said that was my problem. She has constantly given me a hard time in the store every time I see her. If it wasn't that I like their work and most of the employees are great I would never go back. I don't know what Cathy Jones does for this company but over the years she has cost them a Lot of money in lost business. read more

I wish I could give more stars.... I was in a jam with my tractor, big farm tractor mind you, and Dick helped me out huge!!! I've never had such professional service anywhere. Not only was the service half price of the other guys, he got it done in the same day, even though they were super busy. I had another expierince earlier this year with superior. It was just as good! The other guys wanted to charge over $100..... Superior did it for six bucks. That's right, the same exact service the other guys wanted over a hundred for, superior did it for less than $10!!! Waited for over 2 hours to have a tire checked. A lady drive up, came in, told them she needed her tire checked, they went right out and helped her. What happened to FCFS? I asked the guy who helped her and asked why she can drive right up and I've been waiting. He didn't have much to say. I had been a good customer for over 10 years and spent a lot of money there. I left and went to Les Schwab where I was immediately helped. No charge either. Do I say do not go to Superior Tire Store because their service sucks. read more

I'm at work and noticed my vehicle had a visible screw on driver side rear tire. Tire looking flat and seemingly losing air by the minute. I don't live near by so my tire can't wait to be fixed. My co-worker recommended Superior Tire Service and so I went to give them a try. I was treated with friendly service and best of all they told me it was free of charge. I only had an hour of lunch break and so I crossed my fingers hoping it would be done in time to run back to the office without prosecution . 20-25 mins later my vehicle was done and the technician told me I had two separate screws in the same tire. Again, I asked how much I owed and I got the same response "nothing". I am not a returning customer nor had I ever set foot in the business so I was waiting for the hidden fees that never came. I'd give this place a 10 if I could. I very rarely do a non-restaurant review, just because restaurant reviews are my thing. But the service here was so exceptional I had to put in a good word for them. We needed the front two tires on our motorhome replaced. We were coming thru Longview on our way up the coast and I called this shop since it was going to be on the way. Dick answered the phone. Very patient. Very knowledgeable. Very helpful. Walked me thru how I could join the Family Motor Coach Association to take advantage of their Michelin discount program to save me over a $100 per tire. Told me what exactly I would need to provide him. They don't take reservations, it's first come, first served. We were very fortunate that at just after 8 a.m. on a Monday we were the only one there. We pulled into the large, covered service area. Dick comes right out and says "Well I can see why you're here, your left rear outside tire is flat." I'm thinking, no, but oh no, another tire to deal with, and how fortunate that he noticed and I was at the right place at the right time. So he and four other techs all started hustling, Dick giving instruction and coaching some of the younger techs. They just work on your tires right there where you pull up. The attention to detail, the professionalism, the pride they took in their work was something to behold. An hour and a half later we were back on the road with 2 new tires and a repair on a third. The best tire place in town, in my opinion. They will check your tires, fill them, or patch them, for no cost. They also don't try to sell you anything you don't need (like Jiffy Lube.) Always great, fast service, from very nice people! They also have Wi-Fi, which is nice! I say the best, because I have only heard good things, a lot of people like it and think it's the best, and I have heard that other places suck. But I say this is the best, without having gone anywhere else myself, so it may not be the best. But I think that it probably is! read more

Love this shop! My car started making a clunky noise in the front end. Took it to two different reputable mechanics and they could not discover the issue - this went on for 3 months. I called to make an appt at superior & explained my "serious issue". Superior guy says, "uh.... we've never not been able to diagnose a problem". Im thinking yeah right but what have I got to lose? Keith and Dakota made my tire replacement experience very easy. I have never had a tire blow on the highway before, but after my spare was put on, I arrived 15 minutes before closing time. They were able to get me in to replace the blown tire. They also noticed that I needed the other tires replaced due to wear. Keith was able to find a good deal, with a rebate! There were also a few other things they noticed when they did a quick inspection. Nothing urgent but just little things to note and fix when I get the chance. It's good to know that there is no pressure to do things that aren't urgent. Keith and Dakota are also very nice and respectful men who make you feel at ease. Also they are really funny. I really enjoyed my experience here and I will be back to fix all those little things as needed. You won't regret coming here! read more

Crooks and vandals and terrible customer service. The one redeeming service is free inspection, but you cannot trust it AT ALL. We bring our truck in because the brakes were making a noise. We were told there would be a 30 min wait. Seemed understandable for the number of people that were there. An hour and a half later, our truck is finally looked at. Fifteen minutes later a kid who looks barely old enough to be 16 comes in and starts to hand our keys to a complete stranger saying, "Your car, right?" Uhhhh, no. He starts to walk away and we ask how the car was and he just says, "I dunno, I was just asked to drive it around." Five minutes later someone comes in and says, "yeah they said they all need to replaced." We asked to talk to someone who actually worked on the car, not yet another person who knows nothing. Another five minutes and someone came out and said the pads were completely worn down and the rotors and calipers were all rusted out and needed to be replaced. It took another ten minutes for us to get a quote. $850. My wife and I were completely in shock. Fortunately we knew better to stick around. We went to costless auto parts to get all the parts for less than $500. We have a trusted mechanic we are distantly related to who agreed to work on it. Yes, the pads and rotors needed to be replaced, but the calipers were COMPLETELY okay. And now we can return $300 worth of parts. STS, at least this location, is evidently one of those places that swindles and deceives customers just to bring in more cash from unsuspecting, hard-working patrons - try to scare them about how bad of a condition their vehicle is in so they can make more money. Please, DO NOT go here. Save yourself heartache, time and money. I highly advise going somewhere else you know them to be honest. read more

I am assuming some of the past reviews are dummy reviews. Talked to another customer that went in to have a simple job done that was estimated to be $200. It quickly blew into a $1200 job. Customer said no. Checked the parts they said were worn beyond spec. They were completely in spec. when I reviewed them. They actually tried to junk them before they were retrieved by customer. Another customer had new wheels and tires and installed and they try to keep his near new stock wheels and tires. They only returned THREE after being asked to give them back. Still missing one. Beware of this place. Get competitive quotes by folks you trust and verify EVERYTHING they tell you. read more

The technician said all the tires were low, but the front left would need to be replaced. Now he had me: I was from another state, in a hurry, and would have bought a new tire ASAP. I scheduled installation of heater fan. Dropped my car off Monday evening 2/29/2016 left both phone numbers with key in drop slot. Tues evening 5:00, thought about calling but figured they would let me know when completed. Weds. 5:00 called to ask progress, receptionist put me on hold and then a young man came on the phone and explained he could not get my car started Tuesday and forgot to call me. I came to get my car and he offered no apology, no reschedule, nothing.I was not mad, just shocked as the receptionist (that I had spoke to approx. 6 months prior and informed me that they also were full service auto repair) looked on and said nothing.
