The manager wanted a set of rims i had to resale. I should have known better given his appearance, but I figured what's a 100$. He gave me a in store credit of 100$ and twice I've went to collect on that in store credit only to be told he already gave me the in store credit, then saying he could only give me 100$ in labor and not a used tire like we had originally agreed. These guys are a joke. They straight up told me they couldn't dismount my old tires and mount new ones because they were to big. We are talking stock tire size, not some crazy 48" swampers. Went to T&T and had them put on no problem. We all got a chuckle out of a tire shop refusing to do tire shop stuff. read more

Dishonest and horrible business. Bought 2 used tires less than a month ago. Was a fair price until 1 of our tires blew out up near Mt. Hood. Got a new tire, they say whoever put the tire on ripped the bead and that is the only way it could happen. Go to Tire Exchane who sold the original tire. Their response- "You hit a curb it looks like, we done rip tires". Since there was no curb in sight, we were going 50 mph on a highway, but it is our fault because we hit a curb. Talk about a shoddy business. They accuse us and tell us to leave. He couldnt even say, Im sorry that happened. Dont ever go here, just save your money because when the tire blows out and you have to buy another one, dont expect this company to make it right. read more

I purchased new tires for my grandson's truck and at the same time I had brand new tires for sale. They told me they would give me $150.00 for the 4 tires, ($100.00 for the tires and $50.00 for the rims, because they would get $50.00 back from scrapping the rims). When my grandson took the tires to them they would only give him $100.00. When I called them they claimed they never said that. My grandson and I were both there and heard the same thing. I feel they took advantage of the fact that I am a single older women and my grandson is a 17 year old boy. If you have to go here, make sure you get everything in writing. Car started to vibrate on the hwy all of a sudden. Swung it in to this place. The apparent owner had an attitude problem, without looking at any possible issues he tells me i need 4 new tires. I told him i didn't think that a sudden vibration dictated that i needed to replace all my tires. He got all in a huff, storms off, waving me out of his garage saying in a real a-hole like condescending tone "Well then have a nice day!" I got home, checked my front drivers wheel and found the lugs loose. I tightened them up, problem solved! I Could have lost the wheel on the way back, thanks a lot pal! The Tire Exchange is amazing! I don't live in the Longview/Kelso area. I was visiting and went to this establishment today after having bead leaks in my tires for months and after taking my vehicle to two different Les Schwab locations without results. These guys took all of my wheels off and discovered a large build up of debris that was stopping my tires and wheels from sealing properly. They sanded the debris off, realized my tires should be filled to 40 psi (instead of the 30 to 35 recommended on my vehicle because my tires were no longer the original factory tires) and basically made my day, week, month, year whatever! It was so stressful driving around with my tire alert coming on every time I went anywhere. I can not recommend The Tire Exchange enough. They are the real deal and prove why local caring businesses are always better than chains. The owner and everyone who works there is/are so friendly and helpful it's almost shocking. Oh, and the cost? Beyond reasonable. Enough said! read more

I have been going to same tire shop for over 20 years. But someone pointed me to exchange for really good service. The owner just acted like I was of no importance. I had planned in buying my new set of tires there. Which is about a 1000 bucks. I don't think the men that run the automotive shops realize. That there many women out there with no men in there life. And we really need there help. And I feel like there's a big market out there. They havnt tapped into with women. I got the cold shoulder. So I won't b back.
