These are the alterations they offer, what an embarrassment. The patch isn't even the same color and they didn't even bother to trim it. The back of the jeans have a white square sewing pattern that's visible. It took two weeks for them to get this job done. Also, these jeans were purchased 5 months ago and ripped in 2 separate areas. I'm beginning to think their fabric is super cheap and they sell it overpriced. They lost me as a customer today. I'm going to have to take all the stitches out and do it myself at home now. What a waste of time and money. Don't shop here, the service isn't even good. read more

Forgot my casual work attire for a business trip and needed some outfits last minute. Didn't want to purchase throwaway clothes and wanted something I'd wear back home as well. Brandon at this location took good care listening to my tastes and my overall look needed for the dinner I had to attend. He was very patient, not pushy, and grabbed a great selection of clothes for me to try on. Je definitely has an eye for color matching and outfit coordination. He recommended a pair of earrings for me- a personal touch that I hadn't looked for. Couldn't have described me better!! I really have a hard time liking the Buckle. Visits are few and far between because its expensive, sales prices are in the $20 - $40 range for shirts and jeans. Until a few days ago, I'd never spent a dime when I went in to browse. This visit had a purpose. I had purchased a belt buckle on ebay and needed a belt to complete the accessory. I first tried Dillards, Macy's, and JcPenny for belts that would accommodate my purchase. No luck in fact I started to worry that I'd end up at Cavenders or some other country western corral picking thru John Deere and Bud Light stuff. I ventured into the mall looking for other stores stepping into the Buckle to see what I could find. The staff friendly and helpful and WOW the selection of belts was massive. More good news that almost every buckle was secured with buttons so they would work with my buckle! An associate gave me plenty of options while helping me keep an eye on the kiddo; $30 later I was headed home. The Buckle did Ol' Rooster just fine on this visit. read more

I ordered some jeans online from Buckle, but of course that never works out,and they were too big. I was able to exchange them in the store which I thought would benefited so I could try them on. I walked in and immediately was helped by a sales rep. He asked what I was looking for, looked at me and knew what size and length I'd need, and sent me in the dressing room with three pairs of jeans to try. He was spot on, the jeans were perfect. I am finding some great places to shop because of Yelp... and The Buckle is a fine example. I traveled 30 minutes from my Northern Austin neighborhood to The Buckle just for their clothing and amazing service, and it was worth it to me. Even during the "prime-time commute" back home after shopping here was tolerable because I was a happy lady. I was given my room to set up camp, while they brought me outfit after outfit, and we're talking complete outfits. I was able to cart out quite a new wardrobe because their selection was so desirable, and because their service and fashion sense was spot-on for what my tastes were. They get a feel for what you like right away and set out to cater to you... and THAT they did. Beautiful blouses and cute jeans and all that goes with it are available here for all price ranges. This is no Walmart, people... this is gorgeous. I will certainly be going back again for summer wear... and, I forgot to buy that awesome handbag I saw that was simply amazing. The employees that work here are the pushiest sales people I've ever experienced. There was one girl who was literally screaming at people across the store to make a sale. It just seems desperate. The staff alone stressed me out trying to give me "options." Unfortunately the buckle has some type of commission scale that makes employees hungry in all the wrong ways. read more

It never ends. I went in there today because I was desperate for jeans. And I hate it that they have good jeans. Sure enough, It was a nightmare. The girl came up to me I said I was just looking and she pretty much left me alone. I thought wow this place has changed. Nope. while I was paying for my jeans this kid comes up to me and literally throws a shirt right on top of the jeans and says something "Go ahead and pick this up to go with them." It was all I could do to stay calm enough to finish the transaction for my pants and leave. This store is worse than going to a used car lot. I have never seen such rude aggressive up selling in my entire life. It was all I could do not to punch that guy in the face as hard as I could. This was the last straw. I'll just order online and if it doesn't fit I'll return it and get something else. Or better yet, Amazon. read more

I love this place! The service you get is beyond amazing, and I love the fact that you don't have to spend time searching for things (they bring things to you!) They have a wide selection of jeans for all sizes and ages. Yes, I did not type that wrong, all ages. Most people believe that it is only a place for younger people, but they have some great, cute, mid-rise jeans too for those of us that don't want our bottom hanging out when we bend down. Also, they make appointments if you're in a rush and want to show up and have clothes pulled for you. Talk about feeling important! Check it out, it's awesome. read more

Cliff notes version: Great products but go to another store, the manager at this location is a lying jerk. I recently made two online purchases through Buckle.com. I liked several of the items but there were several that did not fit so I planned to return them. Rather than going through the hassle of online returns/FedEx, I chose to go in the store to return the items that did not work. Today I went to the Buckle at Barton Creek Mall in Austin, TX to do so. When I first arrived I explained what I needed to do to one of the girls at the checkout counter. That young lady was about to leave so she grabbed another girl to assist me. The girl looked at the items and asked why I was returning them. I explained that don't have the time to shop and that when I've come in the past, most of the time they don't have my size or they have very few options. She said she understood and said she could help me. The store manager then walked up, looked at everything I was returning and asked the same question, to which I explained it to him. He then explained that they cannot do online returns in store and that they could only give me a gift card. I told him I did not want that since I don't shop often and that I wanted to return the items and get a refund. He told me the only way to do that was online and through FedEx, then told me in the future that I can go on their app to see what they have in store rather than go through this again. He then walked to the back to do an interview. The young lady then asked what I wanted to do and that's when I showed her on the receipt it says I can return in store. I told her I have the original card I used to purchase these items, so I didn't understand why there was an issue. She looked over everything and said it should be fine, it shouldn't be a problem. The manager walked back out to show me a pair of jeans in my size they had gotten in and the young lady explained to him that it says on the receipt that I can return in store. The manager proceeded to walk to the back and she began to work on my return. Shortly after, the manager returned again telling the girl helping me to go work the floor and that he would assist me. Rather than assist me, he pressed a few buttons and showed me that it wants to give me a gift card. He then told me that the policy recently changed and he can't do the return. I think he could tell at this point that I was frustrated because he then explained how to make the returns online, put my things in a bag, introduced himself as the store manager, I believe his name was Eric or Aaron, then sent me on my way. The last time I did a return it was clear the staff would prefer I take a gift card, but when I told them I would just like a return and gave them the original card, they were happy to help. This time around, the manager clearly lied to my face about the policy. Rather than getting angry with the manager, I called the Buckle at The Domain in Austin to see if this was in fact the new policy. The guy I spoke with when I called was extremely nice and explained that if I have an online return, they can either exchange it for me or they can do a return as long as I have the receipt, original form of payment, and all the items have their tags. I asked if I had to get a gift card or if he could just do the return and he said they could do either. I then explained to him what happened at the Barton Creek location and he said he wasn't sure why I was told that but that I should come to the Domain location and they would be happy to help. If I didn't live on the other side of town from that location I probably would go up there, but with my schedule and the distance, that isn't exactly convenient. What is frustrating though is now I have to pay to return these items after a Buckle manager lied to my face about the return policy. An employee was willing to help after I explained everything and rather than just allowing her to assist me, he went so far as to send her away and cancel it.
