This Disney-fied gas station is as American as it gets. While I'm not a driver and am truly a stranger to the gas pump and car culture, I still had my family make a detour to this haven for well, everything, because I wanted to see how everything is bigger in Texas in one place. Buc-ee's certainly embodied that, and then some. For starters, I didn't know there could be that many kinds of jerky. A jerky wall spanning one entire side of the grocery area competed with a stand serving their popular brisket sandwiches. The buck toothed beaver mascot is charming enough, but seeing it printed on everything from onesies to throw pillows to mugs had me wondering how big of a Buc-ee's superfan could one be? Apparently devoted enough to sustain an entire merchandise empire. The food ailes were just as robust. Branded pasta sauces, honey, spices, jams, and even bath and body products lined shelf after shelf. In a zombie apocalypse, you could probably survive stocking up here alone. I was most amused by lotion and soap scented like bucees praline pecans, one of their most popular snacks. The scent sounds cloying to me and I can't imagine intentionally wanting to smell like that, but there's really something for everyone here, no matter how niche the desire. read more

Every single time we get gas here and buy a car wash, it doesn't work. Either we don't get the code or something goes awry. We stop here every trip through Houston this happens. Then we have to go inside and figure it out. Adds 30 minutes to our trip. There's never anyone at the gas station to help. So frustrating. And when you call the number on the receipt it just tells you to go to the website which is not helpful. Maybe we will learn someday. read more

Love me a Buccees! The absolute one thing that I can attest to, is that no matter how busy it looks, you can always get in and out pretty quickly. There are always available cashiers to get you through the line quickly. But the food, the food is what I always come for. Whether it's breakfast, the breakfast biscuits are sooo good! They're so light and fluffy and airy, and I don't know who's grandma's recipe they're using, but it works! The lunch/dinner items, always gotta get a bbq sandwich, they're just sooo good!! Especially our gas stations, the lifeblood of Houston. As a local, I really only stop in for the bathrooms and coffee (extremely reasonably priced at $1.50ish), and gas if I need it. Others in my car will grab a sandwich and visitors will commonly grab their jerky or fudge. Weirdly, I didn't see gas prices easily posted anywhere at this location. Stopped here on road trips a few times and re-discovered a couple of the Houston area locations. We stopped at the Pearland location which is tiny compared to this one. Busy on a Monday around 3. Food, gas, carwash and a plethora of goods that you would shop for outside of a road trip are available. We got the Brisket Sandwich, Texas Philly Steak Burrito and Beaver Nuts to try. Also, some Buccee's gear-1/4 zip pullover. Brisket was tender-just wish the bbq sauce was optional (a bit too sweet for me), Burrito was tasty although salty, Beaver Nuts had a pancake batter flavor-sweet and crave worthy. If I could only give a 0 STAR RATING I would: Today's visit was a very disappointing experience which may keep me out of Buc-ee's forever! I received a Buc-ee's dog leash as a gift, and the very first time I used it, it broke. Luckily, I have a good boy and didn't run off, which could have easily turned into a dangerous situation. For something as basic as a dog leash, I would think the quality would be more reliable, and this clearly wasn't. I went back to the store looking for an exchange, not even a refund, and that's where things got super weird and frustrating. I was told by the Manager Miah that without a receipt, nothing could be done. But, in the same conversation, she told me the item would also need to be in "resellable condition." .... HMMMMM.... wait, that doesn't make much sense. Let me get this straight, if the product is defective and broke on first use, how would it ever be resellable? BUuuuuuut if I did have a receipt, suddenly the broken leash is acceptable for exchange? The logic just didn't add up. Miah then insisted on stressing "store policy" and that she could lose her job for making an exception. But isn't store policy to satisfy your customers and provide them with an experience that makes them want to return. That's hard to believe that taking care of a customer over a clearly defective $20 item would be a fireable offense. Come on guys, where is the use of basic common sense. The most disappointing is that I've been a loyal Buc-ee's customer. Every year before visiting family overseas, we spend $100's of dollars on Buc-ee's merchandise, snacks, and gifts to take with us. It's been a tradition, one that ended today. Completely shocked that a company valued at over $2 Billion would choose to stand firm over a $20 defective leash. How about you guys do a better job training management to handle situations like this with a little flexibility and customer-first thinking vs. scaring them into losing their jobs, which loses customers! This is a micro Bucees. Needless to say it is not as large as a mall, just about the size of a grocery store. So that is why it is a small buccees! Plenty of gas pumps, wait in and out. Bathrooms are clean. Lots of sodas on tap, including Dr Pepper zero. read more

THE BIG: World's longest car wash! The Buc-ee's in Katy is huge! THE BLACK AND WHITE: Another fun fact is that it has over 100+ toilets. Anyways, this Buc-ee's is on the west-bound side of the highway. Tons of gas pumps and the interior matches the same as any other Buc-ee's, but just 2x the size. My go-tos are the brisket sandwich and some beef jerky. I also like to peek at the apparel because who doesn't like repping the beaver. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, this bucee's is a nice stop on the way back home to Austin if you want/need a pit stop to enjoy a nice clean bathroom or delicious quick food. read more

As always Buc-ees has the best gas prices around by far and there is no waiting to find a pump. We always have to stop in to grab something because just going inside a Buc-ee's makes you feel a little bit better about life. Grabbed a giant, ridiculously affordable slushee this time and even mixed some flavors because I was feeling adventurous! Shopping in Katy, Texas... If you want to visit a Buc-ee's, this is the one you want! It's the largest one - and it has the most gasoline pumps! I wasn't able to count them, but i read that there are 120 pumps! Buc-ee's is basically a convenience store with restrooms that are known for being clean. I've been to other Buc-ee's and was disappointed - because they were just simple convenience stores. On the other hand, this Katy location (even though it's about an hour's drive away from Houston) is MASSIVE! You'll be amazed! The first time i went to this Katy Buc-ee's, I was overwhelmed. It's like a department store inside. The first area seems to be like a country store where local merchandise can be found. Examples: honey and goat milk soap. In the back, I saw camping gear. In-between, there are also plushies, bucket hats, t-shirts, beach chairs, swim suits, etc. with the amusing Buc-ee's beaver logo. I absolutely LOVE Buc-ees! And this location is definitely a nice one. Parking can be a little chaotic, especially if you're not getting gas so be careful when driving in/out of the parking lot. If you're new to Texas or just visiting, this is a must-see! They have the cleanest bathrooms, lots of roadtrip snack options as well as hot food available. They also carry signature items such as candied pecans, "Beaver Nuggets" and more! Buc-ee's has become a staple of Texas, although they're now expanding into other states. The customer service is always top-notch, which is also highly appreciated! Giving 4-stars, however, because they severely lack vegetarian options in their hot-and-ready meal department... They literally have one option: a veggie burrito. As a born-and-raised Texan, I understand that there's a big meat culture in this state....but times are changing and vegetarianism is growing rapidly. Having more than one vegetarian option available is actually a chance for them to increase their overall revenue, but I guess they're making enough money already that they don't care to listen to the feedback of their customers. read more

This Buc-ee's never gets passed up by me. Whether I'm heading to San Antonio or Austin, this is always my first stop event though it's still right outside of Houston and there's another one about 100 miles further west. I've even met someone up in Houston, just so we can ride together to this Buc-ee's and back while chatting and eating their wonderful snacks. For those who's reading this and wondering what I'm even talking about, I'm talking about the greatest gas station chain ever created. It used to be strictly a Texas thing, but our great state has blessed surrounding states with it as well. Some even as far as Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Colorado. You're welcome! What set's this particular location apart from the rest is that it is home to the world record holder for the world's longest carwash. I've used it and came out with a clean car. It did it's job. They also have gas pumps as far as the eye can see. I think I read 120 pumps with lots of space to maneuver easily with the hordes of cars stopping at this place. Not only is it impressive outside, the inside is where it's really cool. They sell all kinds of their own products like merch, baked goods, hot and cold foods, snacks, etc. You also have name brand stuff as well, but skip over that stuff because Buc-ee's items are just that good. Food wise, my go to items for breakfast are any of the breakfast tacos, burritos or breakfast sandwiches paired with beaver tots. It's a great, hearty meal before hitting the road. If I want something more handheld and easy to eat while driving, I get one of their kolaches. If it's lunch or dinner time, you can't go wrong with their BBQ sandwiches likes a chopped brisket sandwich with some fresh kettle cooked chips. They also have ready made sandwiches as well as a kiosk to order other hot items. They have quite an impressive selection of jerky and fudge as well. Fountain drinks are plentiful but I usually opt for a hot coffee and they have all the good creamers and syrups to make your favorite coffee creation. I'd be lying if I said I don't have some sort of Buc-ee's merch in and around the house. It's a must when stopping in here. There's no comparing this place to places like Wawa or whatever other chains they have in other states. I've been to them, they don't even come close! It's very rare I pass up a Buc-ee's even if I don't need gas. It's that awesome. I'll be back! read more

On the way back to Humble, we made a stop at a Buckee's. I was told it's a Texas thing and it was a gas station on steroids. Pretty nuts. I've heard of them before, but never actually stepped into one. It was one of those places where it's not large as a Walmart, but it is definitely two times larger than a standard gas station store. It's as large as a Walgreens I would say, and so, my friends and I were here on a Sunday afternoon in December 2025. The car needed gas so we pulled into one of the available pumps, my friend pump, gas, and her husband and I went into the store to pick up more goodies for the night ahead. My mind was blown when I saw the size of the store. It's definitely not what I'm used to seeing back home in Hawaii. It's basically part grocery store, part gas station vibe, and part clothing store. It has basically a lot of things that you want on a daily basis. A lot of people come and go as a please on a daily basis, so they accommodate for those who live life on the road every day and 24/7. We have your drinks and food, while having those other things essentials that you don't necessarily want, but we are so often. Bucc-ee's is a Texas tradition. So, it was nice to not be in a Walmart or CVS store during my vacation time here in Houston, Texas. It was a nice time looking around and buying stuff I needed for the doing your head. Too bad they don't sell lottery tickets here. I ended up buying drinks and some Texas fudge. They were so good. The old experience here at this location of Bucc -ee's went actually really well. There was a lot of people here, which made it popular. It was cool because people actually enjoy being here shopping and buying whatever they needed. It was interesting to see clothing being sold here inside of larger than life gasoline store. Then again it doesn't surprise me either because it's 2026. A lot of places nowadays claim to be the one stop shop for everything so they don't have to go anywhere else. The prices here are really good because they function as a gasoline station as well as a Walmart and Costco to some level. It was good and friendly, all surprisingly being fast. I guess it's at Walmart, though, didn't get out as fast as you can so you can process a lot of people and merchandise at the same time. I ended up walking around the property just once before, seeing the Texas fudge station and proceeded there with my purchases. After my friends and I finalize our purchases, we exited the store and on the way back to Humble. it was very cleaned and organized perfectly. Because I was not from around Texas, I felt a little disorganized, but I found my bearings within five minutes of my time here. And so, if you feel the need to find a Bucc-ee's doing your time in Texas, consider coming to this one because it is the popular one I think. Recommended if you want to get in and get out without having to pay department store prices or even shop at Walmart. This Bucc-ee's location is in Katy, Texas. It ended up being one of the cool things about vacationing in Texas. It's physically located at 27700 Katy Freeway in the heart of Katy. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, you're there for a quick shopping trip or to fill up your vehicle, so chances are you're not in there for too long. They do have parking spots available but not too much. They have a huge property area to work with so they very likely have enough to cover everyone who's coming and going. Best bet would be to have your own car or rent one or even have local friends drive you around since if there is public transportation available in Katy, it's likely not reliable. Besides, Bucc-ee's is a large gas station center. Not a Walmart or a CVS store. They try to be though! There's always uber and Lyft at your disposal, if you need their services. And so, if you find yourself dating stuff for the day or the weekend, consider coming to this location in Katy, Texas. It's really a gas station that promises to be the one stop shop for everything and everything you possibly could on a daily basis. Great thing is that they have locations all over the south. The Katy Buc-ees is always my "pit stop" when driving to Houston. Still the cleanest bathrooms around. I like that the bathroom available stalls have a green light when they are vacant and a red light when being used. All Buc-ees pretty much offers the same thing as well as T- shirts , seasonal wear and gifts. My new favorite is the frozen Dr. pepper slush, and I never drink De Pepper! On my way to New Braunfels, I decided to stop for gas only. After I pumped the gas, I decided to go in. Once I went in, used the restrooms, clean as usual. I was hungry so decided to get food. I looked around a little while deciding what to eat. K they have the cutest souvenirs. I am a Texan and still wanted to buy Texan stuff. The egg and bacon croissant was good but too much egg. I hate to say that because it was very filling but it was so full. The tator tots were delicious. I also got peanut brittle and candied pecans. Both were good and fresh.
