Went here for the 1st time on Friday November 7th 2025 with my Mom and Aunt. We passed this while getting off I-95 on the way to and from Columbia SC, so we decided to stop in going back home. So in case one is wondering, What is Bucc-ee's? Bucc-ee's is a gas station with a huge general store that sells clothes, decorations, and food like brisket, and beef jerky. It also has chicken sandwiches and fries, as well as Bucc-ee chips i think it's called. It is a very big general store. Even met Bucc-EE the beaver there! Also it was very busy. Cashier was pleasant. My aunt brought some beef jerky, and my mom brought some peanut butter cookies and an expresso martini mix. We both paid with credit card for our items! Tried the peanut butter cookie when I got home was very delicious! Oh and this is not the fault of the store, but others, please watch where one is going! Some elderly gentleman behind me pushed me after we were done paying at the registers. Maybe one needs something right away but be careful not to push. After checking out the store, we got gas at the station, and plenty of pumps, and was easy to fill up and travel on. We hope to be back soon with My dad! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I was not happy that buc-ee allow you people to pump gas and then going into the shop specially when it's really crowed[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's rude and holds others up who trying to pump gas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At least put up a darn sign. Every emplyee I met was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoy coming to buc ees.....Its shocking how many people dont pick up after their dogs. This is not a complaint about Buc-ee's just an observation on how much poop that was in the grass area.. they have dog bags all over the place. Like I said, it was shocking.. shame on the dog owners who dont clean up. read more

This is our second time stopping at this Buc-ee's. We were at the pecan festival in Florence SC just about 10 min away so we thought we would stop in and take the BBQ home for dinner, the place was packed I believe there late at least 100 gas pump and most of them are being used. One thing I did notice is the window squeegee to clean windows is snot at the pumps like normal pumps they have a station away from the pumps. We went in and it's like walking in a shopping mall they have everything from grills, chairs, umbrellas, cloths for men woman and kids, toys, kitchen items, pictures, house decors, food, drinks, snacks, sweets and more. So we ordered a 1lb tube of the chopped brisket bbq sauce, we also got some pastries togo. We got the 1lb took it home and we got 2 meals each we had sandwiches for dinner and then just meat with lunch next day. Also you can get any refill of your own cups or thermos for .79 cents hot or cold drinks. read more

We LOVE stopping at Buc-ee's! This was our first time at the SC location. It was so busy but that's nothing unusual for a Buc-ees! The lines moved very fast. We picked up some new tshirts and of course some chicken and bbq sandwiches! This location is very clean the bathrooms were busy but had employees in assisting to make sure everything moved slowly and stayed clean! We will be making it one of our new stops when we travel to the beach and back! Definitely not disappointed!! Also they had the beaver mascot out which we have never seen but my toddler was scared to take a picture! read more

My first time in a Buc-ee's! Not sure what the hype is? It's chaos! There were SO many people hustling and busting throughout the place! The employees were super friendly and the bathrooms were clean! You can buy everything from clothes to roasted peanuts! I'm glad that I got to see it but not sure I'll need to stop in again. read more

Every time I step into this place, I completely lose track of time--in the best way. There's always something new to discover, and I never leave empty-handed. Whether it's a tasty treat or a full meal, I somehow always end up with something delicious. The atmosphere is lively and energizing, and despite how busy it can get, everything runs smoothly. The lines move quickly, the staff is efficient and friendly, and the restrooms are impressively clean, which is always a plus. read more

Great pit stop off the 95! Bathrooms are huge and spacious with cleaning crews always making sure everything is clean and safe. Lots and lots of food and snack options as well as drinks, coffee and icee machines. Clothings, souvenirs and even baby outfits, hats and socks. My favorite stop for refreshing and gassing up! read more

Worth the hype. I spent a solid 30 minutes taken in the smells and the Buc-ee's merch. I stopped twice on our road trip to Florida (3x if you count the Daytona location which is HUGE). It's basically the Walmart of "convenience" stores only the customer service is excellent. Buc-ee's is a must stop when traveling down 95 and it's perfect for keepsakes and souvenir hunting. read more

Stopped on our way back from visiting family in Florida. 11:00pm on a Sunday night the store was packed. The employees are really nice, quick & efficient. Everyone is working ( no slackers). Our family owns a condo in Surfside Beach, SC, so we always stop at Buc-ee's on our way there and back. They have excellent breakfast sandwiches and wraps, coffee, snacks, and travel necessities, and the bathrooms are always clean. Although it's usually crowded, the staff does a great job of providing quick service. read more

We enjoy Buc- ee's and it is a nice stop coming or going into Pigeon Forge Tennessee. It is a nice store and we enjoyed the gift shop and getting gas at this location. The Buc- ee snacks are great. My son likes to get a drink here and it is large to have for the drive home. read more

This is your average Buc-ee's which is always awesome. Lots of great food and gear. We picked up some bbq sandwiches for the road (which were delicious) and used the cleanest restrooms ever. They have decent gas prices also. read more

Expect to spend $100 inside here. Not on anything that you actually need. Just a bunch of sugary snacks and random mementos. I think I was so panicked when I walked in after parking that I went into fight or flight mode, and in turn, filled a basket. My friend was too overwhelmed and waited outside after we used their "clean" bathrooms (mine had a dob of urine on the seat, actually, thank you lady before me). To be fair, I did end up buying a lot of stuff for the price, including a fleece blanket that I use all the time. Traffic is insane going in and out of the lot. But hey, it's right off of 95 and if you've never been, it's certainly...an adventure. read more

I had never ever visited a Buc-ees but heard so much about them on my recent trip I got to see one and OMG loved it. They have so much to offer to mention a few stations, Fudge, Jerky, Brisket, deli, bakery, glazed nuts, souvenirs, clothes, and all basic things like candy beverages, coffee, etc.... The iconic gas station of the south! I've always stopped by the Florence location to charge up my Tesla. They may not have as many super charger stalls compared to their gas pumps, but there's still enough where I've never had to wait in queue to charge my car. Best way to kill time is to go into Buc-ee's to use their restroom (kept very clean) and grab some snacks. It's a mini market in there. There are stations that specialize in bbq pulled pork sandwiches (which are really good. I usually end up getting 2 to be full). Compared to other gas stations, their snack and drinks selection is definitely better. There are open grass fields behind the chargers for dog owners to walk their pets or just get a quick stretch in. Road trips would be less taxing with more places like Buc-ee's to stop by! read more

As a resident from the far north, I couldn't understand all the fervor around Buc-cees. After all, it's just a Speedway on steroids, right? Then I visited. If Cookout and Speedway had a baby, and that baby grew up to have a baby with the offspring of Pilot Flying J and Marshall's Home.... you get my point! The first thing you notice is the 12 miles of gas pumps. [Ok, its not 12 miles, but there are a hellova lot of them] There are 4 rows of about 20 gas pump bays. Sweartagawd. Im not exaggerating. As they say where I'm from.. "Deadass" Ok, I looked it up. There's 160 gas pumps. ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY! Buc-cees is a vibe. You really find yourself liking the place. It's hard to pinpoint the reason WHY this place is so freaking popular, but once you go inside, you'll find 1000 reasons why you'd want to come back. I hadn't realized my 2 previous visits had fully inducted into me into the Buctooth Nation... until my city slicker a$$ got so excited when I saw a Buc-cees on the horizon, I insisted we stop. If you ever get the chance to visit, check out the brisket or pulled pork. No pork on your fork? Try the chicken! Try everything! I'm coming back for that cast iron dutch oven read more

We tried Buc-ee's recently on a drive back from GA. I routed it in as we needed a charge stop for the electric car and had been hearing about Buc-ee's. I would consider Buc-ee's more a destination experience. It was extremely busy at around 8pm with people wandering the store. We tried several food options. Fudge (excellent); Carolina Pulled Pork (don't waste your money); Beef Jerky (teriyaki was excellent ... definitely take advantage of samples to find the one you like best); and three meats sandwich (decent). Mind you ... it's EXPENSIVE for what you get. We ended up spending over $50. It ads up quickly ... especially with drinks. I would definitely say it's a place you should try out once if it's in your travel path. read more

OMG!! This place is insane and a must stop if you pass any on the road. I was blown away by the amount of items, food, drink choices, gas prices, freshly roasted nuts, just baked cookies and muffins, and delicious brisket. And the best part is all these options and more we're reasonably priced. What a great pit stop to stretch the legs and grab some goodies. Definitely stopping again on the way home and anytime we pass a Bucee's :) read more

Buc- ees is a stop for just about anything you can think of especially fresh sandwiches. Wife and I ordered brisket sandwiches and they were out of the universe with flavor and the perfect Texas approach. Can't say enough about this legendary stop along I 95. Be prepared to get lost in this spacious spot filled with hundred of people and enjoy the uniqueness. read more

I have been here a couple times before making it in for the new year. All of the Buc-ee's locations are similar and there's usually a crowd there. Be prepared to stay for about 45 minutes since it's the world's largest gas station and to take a pee break, load up on snacks, and fill up the car with gas if needed. There are food, drinks, or items everywhere you look. I got fruit mixture since I already devoured on the banana pudding and fudge from the one in Florida. You will not go hungry. The bathrooms are sparkly clean and have staff members working in there making sure it was kept that way. I can't believe how pleasant it was with all the cashiers and staff helping customers. You will spend more than necessary and it's all worth it for the beaver. read more

What else can be said about Bucess? It is becoming legendary. This location is right next to I-95 and and easy off and on. When we visited at 7am on Sunday morning, it was pretty empty. We had breakfast for the first time and it was great -- self-service coffee bar with all the fixins you could want, and a nice fresh, hot bacon egg and biscuit sandwich. Bucees is always a "must stop" for me. We just need more! read more

Wow!!! When in Rome...or in this case South Carolina. We had to find a nearby Bucc-ee's and check it out. We've heard so much about it that we couldn't pass up the opportunity. First thing you notice driving up is the gas pumps...double stacked rows...that seem to go on forever. I wouldn't be surprised if there were hundreds. Then, you walk inside and it is just a madhouse of a gas station. Anything and everything you can imagine...food, household items, drinks, clothes, automotive items, toys, etc... To be honest, though, I wasn't as taken aback as I thought I would be. With as much as people talk about it, I was expecting something ridiculous. Granted, it was big...but not nearly as big as I thought it would be. It was cool to see, but it certainly isn't something that I will go out of my way to return to. If you're in the area, it is worth a stop...but, in my opinion, it is greatly overhyped. read more

Being part of a large chain, the review will not change drastically, pretty much the same from location to location. I try to isolate anything special that I experiene in a different location. I have heard about Buc-ee's for a while now and when I had an opportunity to visit a new location I jumped right in and WOW I am glad I did. This place is also the mother-ship of roadside rest stops. You must be prepared to spend a little time here when you visit just to get the full flavor of everything going on here. Besides the crazy amount of bays here for gasoline, everything is BIG. Every employee here does nothing but and offer assistance and smile. There favorit line is "Is this your first time here?" "We went into the sore after gassing up, to take the 'self guided tour.' The first thing that catches your eye is the fresh sandwich section in the front. Brisket, Turkey, Sausage were the primary. "Brisket on the Cutting Board." You hear that alot as they're cutting and chopping. Today we went with some mini chocolate chip cookies and a coffee. Again, they were both perfect. The cookies are even better when yu like the crispy more than the chewy. They have an amazing fudge section, and the biggest selection of Jerky I have ever seen. Plenty of cloths, nic-nacs and branded items... Lots and lot of branded items. I purchased the Buc-ee phone holder. There are plenty of pictures with this written review. The bathrooms are huge and clean. Again, everyhing here is done on a grand scale. I definitely caught the "Beaver Fever" here and urge everyone to stop by when you get a chance. Ace sort overload in the best way possible. This place was not the "restaurant in a gas station" I thought. This place was not only HUGE but amazing!!! The employees were so in synch with one another.it was giving cheers when old guy came in.... I loved it!!! The pulled pork/chicken sandwich was freakin PHENOMENAL.. like I was so upset with myself that u didn't order a second one. They had so many perfect things for your own home but also had a million gifts for travelers. Everyone has already said what I want to review. This place is awesome and arriving felt like attending a much-hyped concert or playoff game. Before my mother-in-law passed in 2021, we traveled from Charlotte to Surfside Beach several times a year. Florence is halfway so stopping was a no brainer to refuel, stretch, pee, and snack. If Buc-ee's was there then, I would have visited her more often, lol. Buc-ee's is worth the effort and they're price competitive, too. Has my "Give 'em a Whirl" meter rolling on the ground squealing with joy. Just go! PS: Many thanks to Bruce, Edward, and Suzanne for putting this place on my radar. I love reading the 1 star reviews. All of them say it was too crowded....no kidding....the gas pumps were so busy ....they couldn't find anyone working there. There are literally 50 people working there at any one time .This is Buc-ee's what do you expect? The place is insane on a good day . That being said yes the food itself is a little expensive for sure but snacks are pretty cheap. Restrooms are clean and there are 900 gas pumps to get gas at. If you don't want chaos then don't go here . read more

From all the billboards, I figured it was just a trucker/tourist trap. I'm glad I went because they have some pretty good hot food and tons of snacks for your road tripping needs! The bathrooms and huge and very clean despite the large crowds. The staff there are also incredibly nice. The young lady at checkout managed to upsell me on some original "Nug-ees." Nug-ees... they sound stupid, they look like stale corn pops, but holy hell are they delicious and addicting! She wasn't wrong, I'm glad I got some! Honestly, the only complaint I have is about the people that go to Buc-ee's. The gas station is HUGE, something like 100 gas pumps, but there's this weird subculture of entitlement that I only see at Buc-ee's where these rude people feel like they have to use the gas pumps as their personal parking lot as if it was written into the Bill of Rights. Usually it's not a problem until it became one and I struggled to find an open pump because of all the empty parked cars. read more

Never been to a Buc-ee's before. This place is wild. Packed, coming and going, in and out. Everything from Jerky, to nuts, to t-shirts to bathing suits. Looks like a well oiled machine! Listen when I tell you to believe the hype. I just left Buc-ees, and I wish I could turn back to buy another one of their delicious brisket. Omgg, delicious! That meat is so tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. That bbq sauce slapped. I wish I sampled it before leaving; I would've purchased a bottle to take home with me. The crew were friendly, and despite the heavy flow of traffic there, it's CLEAN. You constantly see crew members tidying up the areas. I love that!! It smells like a clean bakery with something for everyone. read more

First time here and .......well at first I said !%#€!. Then proceeded to maneuver myself through the crowd. They do have a great selection of Jerky. You can buy it in packages or at the Jerky counter you can but it in bulk. Soooo many flavors. My favorite energy drinks ( Reign & Bang ) are less than $2.00 here. Elsewhere I have paid from $2.39 to $3.50. Prices are pretty good and a huge selection of whatever. The Beef Brisket is great. With all kinds of bakery treats to be had. I resisted and had none of the bakery delights. Coffee , tea, cold brew in abundance, but no Expresso or Latte. They do have flavors to enhance your coffee not to taste lime coffee. Oh yes a mile gas pumps, well it was pretty long. Prices for premium was very good as that is what I use in my vehicles. In the long to short...... if you have not been to Buc-ee's it is an experience. Are you experienced? You can get Purple Haze here. Bang !!!! Yes , I would stop off here again. Ohhh one more thing. The restrooms were very , very clean. But a line up if you have to go. Be prepared to wait a few minutes. read more

This place gives me the ick. Theres just too many dang people. not sure what the hype is unless you want to wait an hour to use the restroom, you can't walk anywhere in the place without 10 people being in your way every second. I came in here to get some lunch and use the restroom and immediately regretted it. I got lunch but it took forever just to get a sandwich, water, and banana pudding. I didn't get to use the restroom because the line is a mile long and I'm not waiting in it. Don't come here on a weekend. read more

This location was super easy to get in & out. As always; bathrooms clean, Employee's friendly, and gas pretty cheap. If you've never been in a Buc-ee's...there is a lot of fresh and packaged food options from savory to sweet, a huge coffee station, drinks galore, and shopping. It is like a hyped up Cracker Barrel or small Bass Pro Shop. Great to walk around and stretch your legs. AND as a female, the cleanest bathrooms. There are always multiple Employee's in the restroom area directing women to open stalls and keeping everything clean. The brisket. Oh so yummy and always fresh. Check out the meat sandwiches. I haven't tried anything from their bakery but there is always a line. They even have a Jerky bar. Everyone should stop by at least once. read more

Amazing truckstop! They have everything from food to drinks to clothing and more! The best biscuits sandwiches I've ever had! Unfortunately, the experience started off poorly and never really recovered. First, parking is extremely limited out front, which is frustrating when you're tired and just want a quick pickup. Inside, things only got worse. The front-of-house staff was shockingly unprofessional. The employee helping us clearly didn't understand her job and had to be corrected multiple times by another staff member--something no customer should have to witness. It created confusion, delays, and zero confidence in our order. We paid about $50 for a sampler, which is not cheap, and yet the same employee argued about giving us the sides because she entered the order incorrectly. If another, more competent employee hadn't stepped in, I'm convinced it would have escalated further. Even then, we never received one of the four sides we paid for. To make matters worse, we were never asked if we wanted drinks to go, and we weren't given plates, silverware, or even BBQ sauce--basic essentials for a takeout order. That's just unacceptable. While waiting, we also watched this same employee tell three separate dine-in families to go sit and wait while she stood there rolling silverware. Completely rude and dismissive. If I had been one of those customers, I would have walked out. This is the first impression customers get, and it's a terrible reflection of how the place is run. Between the disorganization, poor communication, and outright unfriendly behavior, the service was a mess. The only reason this isn't a one-star review is because the food itself was actually very good. The burnt ends and ribs were the standout--absolutely delicious. But great BBQ can't fully make up for such a frustrating and poorly managed customer experience.

Worst Buccee's I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot! If you have a dog like me, do NOT come here!! The second I walked into the doors they dang near TACKLED my father to tell him my LITERAL 3 POUND MINIATURE CHIUAUA WAS NOT ALOUD INSIDE (I was holding him in my arms in his bag with a leash as well) BULL SHHHIZ. FINALLY, I give my dog to my dad and walk back inside in hopes to relieve my god forsaken bladder. Use the restroom. Treats employees very poorly, at least the night managers do. Especially Samantha, she tells other employees she doesn't like a person and does her best to get them out of the door. Training for certain roles, don't expect to be trained correctly but you will be written up for it. Management should really go over training with the new employees to make sure they are doing it properly. Samantha also plants paper clips after one has cleaned and tells them they missed it. When someone in management has it out for you expect to be gone within a month. The management is young so they don't know how to treat or talk too employees. Expect to be screamed at during your whole shift and to comeback in to be told everything you did wrong. Nerve-wracking is the best way to put it. If you have anxiety this role will put you in the ground. For customers 100% the best place! read more

We drove from Greenville NC to Florence to see what the big deal was, as never having to visit one before. The BBQ sandwiches were awesome. Buc-ees sweets and snacks were plentiful. The salted caramels that were on sale held empty boxes throughout the store. My biggest reason for the three star would be the fudge. I asked the gentleman twice for the chocolate caramel. I pointed to it to make sure. Again I referenced it when my husband asked what I was getting as the employee looked at us. My husband bought the PB, as I was looking around at the other items, we received our paper bag and paid for our stuff. Two hours down the road, I wanted that fudge. BUT what we received wasn't the chocolate caramel, it was some concoction of vanilla, caramel and nuts. So disappointed. My son said " get the fudge, it's really good". If you're traveling on I-95, stopping at Buc-ee's is an absolute must! We made a pit stop on our drive home, and it did not disappoint. Recently, we stopped for gas on our way to Charleston. It was Friday night, and as a lady, I'm careful about where I stop for breaks on car trips, especially after dark. This station was well-lit and seemed safe. We got gas, and the prices advertised on the sign are cash prices, which wasn't immediately clear to us. The store does not have a public restroom, so even as paying customers, we'd have to make another stop. If you need gas, pay in cash to save. If you need a bathroom break or snacks, try the nearby grocery store.

Don't get me wrong, the were pretty good but I certainly wasn't blown away. Their fried chicken is good but again not much different from most buffets in South Carolina. Their collards are nice and they do offer hash. If you're thinking corn beef hash, it's not that. It's a BBQ or liver hash and it's definitely an acquired taste. I usually put it over rice if I get it. Hash was highly popular in South Carolina for many years. It can't hurt to try it as Schuler's is actually pretty good. Not my favorite barbecue in the area but it's cool place with great people.
