Buc-ee's is a good time! This was my first time stopping at a Buc-ee's and I wanted to try all the must haves. I was bummed they didn't have kolaches, but we did try the chopped brisket sandwich, smoked BBQ turkey sandwich, grilled chicken fajita burrito, pulled pork sandwich, fresh chips, corn nuggets and beef jerky. I liked everything except for the nuggets. They were way too sweet. We bought the stuffed mascot for our dog and he was happy. read more

I will start by saying that I am a Buc-ee's fanatic. If I am passing through Florence, Buc-ee's is a must! We did not stop for gas, but the number of pumps available is astonishing. They also have areas for pets, RVs, and plenty of parking. I love the BYO coffee area. Most places only offer hot coffee, so I really appreciate the iced coffee section. We prefer iced all year long! My go-to food item here is the Texas cheesesteak burrito. If you don't try anything else, you need to try that. We also enjoy the brisket sandwiches and fresh baked goods. I am a person that is highly aware of germs in public, which means that I very rarely feel comfortable using the bathroom. Buc-ee's bathrooms are SPOTLESS, cleaner than many many restaurants, hotels, etc. Even if they didn't have the mascot and overwhelming amount of goodies, I think I would still be inclined to stop for the clean bathrooms! read more

What a place! Stopped there a week ago during a rode trip and was pleasantly surprised. I've gotten many recommendations to come here and all they said was 'you MUST' stop at Buc-ee's. Yes, we did stop and upon entry it was immediate that we would not be just dashing in and out. Although there were many families coming and going, every line was moving right along. We did not get gas this time but we did take more than a moment to wander around to take in the vibe before getting their brisket burrito and a seasoned pork loin to prepare at home. They get you in and out quickly with all of the crowd. Tons of registers open. Sweet treats of all kind including Beaver Nuggets. Sweet corn puffs. Crack, addictive. Always a fun experience, and the food is great. One note, they removed the custom food screens, and you get what you get. You cannot just get fries. You cannot skip the chipotle cheese sauce on the vegetarian burrito. I love this place, but I will have to skip in the future because it is not very accommodating to vegetarians. I stopped here while traveling to Charleston airport to use the restrooms which were nothing but clean. I was very impressed because it is a large store with lots of people stopping in daily. They have a large selection of any and everything your looking for. The store has a very large breakfast selection as well as baked goods, BBQ sandwiches, sliced fruit, coffee, and all types of jerky which was really good, its was hard to decide on a flavor to try because their was so many selections. read more

I can't believe that I just spent $20 on two sandwiches and I check out, they actually wanted to charge me for putting ice in my own yeti cup! I was further outrage that they wanted to charge us to fill the coffee cup that we brought with us with plain hot water. We have been to hundreds of rest stops up and down the eastern. Seaboard and no one has ever charged for water or ice in a refillable cup. I will skip this stop in the future. read more

We tried Buc-ee's recently on a drive back from GA. I routed it in as we needed a charge stop for the electric car and had been hearing about Buc-ee's. I would consider Buc-ee's more a destination experience. It was extremely busy at around 8pm with people wandering the store. We tried several food options. Fudge (excellent); Carolina Pulled Pork (don't waste your money); Beef Jerky (teriyaki was excellent ... definitely take advantage of samples to find the one you like best); and three meats sandwich (decent). Mind you ... it's EXPENSIVE for what you get. We ended up spending over $50. It ads up quickly ... especially with drinks. I would definitely say it's a place you should try out once if it's in your travel path. read more

Us Californians don't come across Buc-ee's too often, so we HAD to make a stop when we saw this stop off the I-95! Driving northbound, Buc-ee's did a great job of generating demand with the constant roadside billboards reminding you that you're nearing Buc-ee's, we counted around 12 billboards, starting from 263 miles away! When we got there, it was a madhouse! Tons of traffic going in and out, but no wait for gas since they had sooo many gas pumps available. Parking was okay too since they had a large lot. Once inside, most people were crowded around the same areas, namely the bathrooms, pastries and brisket area. Employees were making fresh food when we were there, and check out was quick and easy with the numerous cashiers available. They have a large selection of beef jerky and fudge and every flavor imaginable, so something to check out if you're into that. We opted for the BBQ brisket slices sandwich ($8.49) and the roasted pecans ($4.49). The sandwich was decent, but underwhelming, as it wasnt hot and buns weren't toasted. The pecans were super good, and still hot in the bag. We didn't have time to explore the souvenirs too much, but they had anything you could imagine (books, paintings, buccees branded merch, and a LOT more!) While it's gimicky and chaotic, it's a fun stop to get the essentials and break up the long drive. WOW -oh WOW!!! Soooo much to see!! Pack a lunch Wait no don't you can get everything here!! Huge very clean lot, pumps, pumps, after more gas pumps the famous beaver outside the door photo opportunity for all. When you walk inside it reminds you of the Harry Potter movie when they are waiting in line to go through the smoky archway, soooo much to see, so many foods to try, fresh cooked to order foods, you name it!!! Local nuts, canned snacking nuts, their sodas, there salads, want some chicken on a salad, just let them know, puddings, fruit cups, towels, outside chairs, gifts, candy's AND SOO MUCH MORE!! What an amazing experience 1st time at a Buc-ee's and I hope this review shares my excitement!!!! I see the dream came to life here. Fun fact: Buc-ee was actually a family dog mascot initially. Finally visited for the first time! Bathrooms are as clean as they're advertised. And God bless the guys who clean them. I had their XXL Brisket sandwich for about 12 bucks, a really good sandwich, though the sauce is a little sweet. I think I would have preferred just dry brisket. And I was happy to take my free side of pickle slices. Only thing that would have made the sandwich better was some thin crispy tobacco onions. The diced white raw onions they offered weren't helping. Fantastic selection of snacks, beverages, clothing, and random odds and ends for the home. Also I got a bag of beaver nuggets. Beaver nuggets, you ask? Now I had seen billboards for these 20 miles before arriving. And just the name alone gets attention. The employee I talked to described them as corn pops on steroids. Now I was never a Pops eater as a kid, so I wasn't sure about that, but I knew corn and sugar would stand out. Well, for me it was like a combo between corn puffs and caramel popcorn. Crunch and sweet overload. And I guess considering the first ingredient was brown sugar, that should have been a clue. Went here for the 1st time on Friday November 7th 2025 with my Mom and Aunt. We passed this while getting off I-95 on the way to and from Columbia SC, so we decided to stop in going back home. So in case one is wondering, What is Bucc-ee's? Bucc-ee's is a gas station with a huge general store that sells clothes, decorations, and food like brisket, and beef jerky. It also has chicken sandwiches and fries, as well as Bucc-ee chips i think it's called. It is a very big general store. Even met Bucc-EE the beaver there! Also it was very busy. Cashier was pleasant. My aunt brought some beef jerky, and my mom brought some peanut butter cookies and an expresso martini mix. We both paid with credit card for our items! Tried the peanut butter cookie when I got home was very delicious! Oh and this is not the fault of the store, but others, please watch where one is going! Some elderly gentleman behind me pushed me after we were done paying at the registers. Maybe one needs something right away but be careful not to push. After checking out the store, we got gas at the station, and plenty of pumps, and was easy to fill up and travel on. We hope to be back soon with My dad! read more

We LOVE stopping at Buc-ee's! This was our first time at the SC location. It was so busy but that's nothing unusual for a Buc-ees! The lines moved very fast. We picked up some new tshirts and of course some chicken and bbq sandwiches! This location is very clean the bathrooms were busy but had employees in assisting to make sure everything moved slowly and stayed clean! We will be making it one of our new stops when we travel to the beach and back! Definitely not disappointed!! This is our second time stopping at this Buc-ee's. We were at the pecan festival in Florence SC just about 10 min away so we thought we would stop in and take the BBQ home for dinner, the place was packed I believe there late at least 100 gas pump and most of them are being used. One thing I did notice is the window squeegee to clean windows is snot at the pumps like normal pumps they have a station away from the pumps. We went in and it's like walking in a shopping mall they have everything from grills, chairs, umbrellas, cloths for men woman and kids, toys, kitchen items, pictures, house decors, food, drinks, snacks, sweets and more. So we ordered a 1lb tube of the chopped brisket bbq sauce, we also got some pastries togo. We got the 1lb took it home and we got 2 meals each we had sandwiches for dinner and then just meat with lunch next day. The employees were super friendly and the bathrooms were clean! You can buy everything from clothes to roasted peanuts! Worth the hype. I spent a solid 30 minutes taken in the smells and the Buc-ee's merch. I stopped twice on our road trip to Florida (3x if you count the Daytona location which is HUGE). It's basically the Walmart of "convenience" stores only the customer service is excellent. Our family owns a condo in Surfside Beach, SC, so we always stop at Buc-ee's on our way there and back. They have excellent breakfast sandwiches and wraps, coffee, snacks, and travel necessities, and the bathrooms are always clean. I think I was so panicked when I walked in after parking that I went into fight or flight mode, and in turn, filled a basket. My friend was too overwhelmed and waited outside after we used their "clean" bathrooms (mine had a dob of urine on the seat, actually, thank you lady before me). To be fair, I did end up buying a lot of stuff for the price, including a fleece blanket that I use all the time. Traffic is insane going in and out of the lot. The iconic gas station of the south! I've always stopped by the Florence location to charge up my Tesla. They may not have as many super charger stalls compared to their gas pumps, but there's still enough where I've never had to wait in queue to charge my car. Best way to kill time is to go into Buc-ee's to use their restroom (kept very clean) and grab some snacks. It's a mini market in there. There are stations that specialize in bbq pulled pork sandwiches (which are really good. I usually end up getting 2 to be full). Compared to other gas stations, their snack and drinks selection is definitely better. There are open grass fields behind the chargers for dog owners to walk their pets or just get a quick stretch in. Road trips would be less taxing with more places like Buc-ee's to stop by! read more

I have been here a couple times before making it in for the new year. All of the Buc-ee's locations are similar and there's usually a crowd there. Be prepared to stay for about 45 minutes since it's the world's largest gas station and to take a pee break, load up on snacks, and fill up the car with gas if needed. There are food, drinks, or items everywhere you look. I got fruit mixture since I already devoured on the banana pudding and fudge from the one in Florida. You will not go hungry. The bathrooms are sparkly clean and have staff members working in there making sure it was kept that way. I can't believe how pleasant it was with all the cashiers and staff helping customers. As a resident from the far north, I couldn't understand all the fervor around Buc-cees. After all, it's just a Speedway on steroids, right? Then I visited. If Cookout and Speedway had a baby, and that baby grew up to have a baby with the offspring of Pilot Flying J and Marshall's Home.... you get my point! The first thing you notice is the 12 miles of gas pumps. [Ok, its not 12 miles, but there are a hellova lot of them] There are 4 rows of about 20 gas pump bays. Sweartagawd. Im not exaggerating. As they say where I'm from.. "Deadass" Ok, I looked it up. There's 160 gas pumps. ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY! Buc-cees is a vibe. You really find yourself liking the place. It's hard to pinpoint the reason WHY this place is so freaking popular, but once you go inside, you'll find 1000 reasons why you'd want to come back. I hadn't realized my 2 previous visits had fully inducted into me into the Buctooth Nation... until my city slicker a$$ got so excited when I saw a Buc-cees on the horizon, I insisted we stop. What else can be said about Bucess? It is becoming legendary. This location is right next to I-95 and and easy off and on. When we visited at 7am on Sunday morning, it was pretty empty. We had breakfast for the first time and it was great -- self-service coffee bar with all the fixins you could want, and a nice fresh, hot bacon egg and biscuit sandwich. My family and I were extremely excited to go into Buc-ee's for the first time, as it has been hyped on social medias and even reviews here. I cannot describe the disappointment we felt when we stepped into this establishment. Obviously, there's only so much one can do when facing rush hour, and for being so busy, it was clean. Here's the kicker: for the sandwiches, they charge around 10 dollars, restaurant price. The sandwich quality was less than subpar; one could find a better sandwich from a sprint. It was prepackaged, doused in salt, drenched in sauce. It gave everyone a terrible stomachache and caused extreme sluggishness and drowsiness. From all the billboards, I figured it was just a trucker/tourist trap. I'm glad I went because they have some pretty good hot food and tons of snacks for your road tripping needs! The bathrooms and huge and very clean despite the large crowds. The staff there are also incredibly nice. The young lady at checkout managed to upsell me on some original "Nug-ees." Nug-ees... they sound stupid, they look like stale corn pops, but holy hell are they delicious and addicting! She wasn't wrong, I'm glad I got some! Honestly, the only complaint I have is about the people that go to Buc-ee's. The gas station is HUGE, something like 100 gas pumps, but there's this weird subculture of entitlement that I only see at Buc-ee's where these rude people feel like they have to use the gas pumps as their personal parking lot as if it was written into the Bill of Rights.
